WW Weekly Club??

Hello. I couldn't help but notice the old WW thread is long and has been going a while.

I'd love other weight watchers members to join me and report their weekly weigh ins, perhaps we could keep a stats chart (a la the Antenatal clubs) to keep us motivated, you know, name, start weight, start date, goal weight, height, points allowance, current weight loss to date etc. and update it monthly...anyone interested?

So, here's mine: Start weight 14st 1lb (arghh!), goal weight 9st 7lb, height 5'4 started 23 February and have lost 3.5lbs so far. I'm breastfeeding DD2 (8 weeks old) so am allowed 33 points.

Anyone else?

Dior - can I find the free soups on the ww website?

I keep making motherinferior's Soup of Virtue which is fab and now a great favourite in our house.

I probably don't NEED to lose the extra llbs but I'd like to. I do a fair bit of walking every day so may increase to 20 points

Thanks for the advice!

can anyone post on here the free soup recipe please?

willow2 · 27/06/2006 17:13

Ok, went this morning. Have 1 stone 2lbs to go to get to my first target. Am just starting to wade through the book - which do people find easiest, points or no points? Also, what's this points tracker thing you talk about, CD - and is the online thing free or do you have to pay more for that (annoying if you do - you don't for SW). Questions, questions!

willow2 · 27/06/2006 17:13

And what's M Inferiors virtue soup?

willow2 · 27/06/2006 17:13

And what's M Inferiors virtue soup?

CountessDracula · 27/06/2006 18:26

Willow I don't know if you have to pay more for the points tracker if you are a member offline iykwim. Have a look at the website here it has demo of tracker etc.

Also I bought a little portable points calculator thing which is v useful in the supermarket (I discovered today that 1/3 tub waitrose rasp sorbet (BIG tub) is only 2.5 pts for eg)

dinny · 27/06/2006 18:32

Was going to say, that is a lot of stock, isn't it a bit salty? CD, that calculator thingy sounds good. TBH probably get more out of online membership, but then wouldn't have the weekly weigh in to spur me on.
Am going to make soup once DS in bed.

IHeartEnid · 27/06/2006 20:50

26 including your 10 extra?

willow2 · 28/06/2006 09:51

I have 19 points to cope with. How many are two weetabix and skimmed milk? And what is the original no point (on either regime) soup recipe - cna't find it in the book they gave me? Can anyone help?

puddle · 28/06/2006 10:12

Willow soup of virtue is onion, bag of spinach, garlic, cumin, red lentils and stock. Cook until spinach and lentils are soft, then I whizz in blender. It's totally yum. Sometimes add some chilli flakes too for extra hotness.

You can add a glug of olive oil at the end of the process but you really don't need it.

IHeartEnid · 28/06/2006 10:16

2.5 points willow
