WW Weekly Club??

Hello. I couldn't help but notice the old WW thread is long and has been going a while.

I'd love other weight watchers members to join me and report their weekly weigh ins, perhaps we could keep a stats chart (a la the Antenatal clubs) to keep us motivated, you know, name, start weight, start date, goal weight, height, points allowance, current weight loss to date etc. and update it monthly...anyone interested?

So, here's mine: Start weight 14st 1lb (arghh!), goal weight 9st 7lb, height 5'4 started 23 February and have lost 3.5lbs so far. I'm breastfeeding DD2 (8 weeks old) so am allowed 33 points.

Anyone else?

only lost 100g this past week. [sigh] Too many Pimms, I guess.

CountessDracula · 19/06/2006 14:20

Aha a WW thread!

OK I started WW online 3 weeks ago and have lost 7lbs (2/2/3)

Want to lose 2 stone

dewmeadow · 20/06/2006 10:06

totally depressed - first week on NoCOunt and lost 2.5 lb Grin but then I was on holidays for a week and despite trying really hard and doing loads of exercise I put on a lb. Sad

Swapping to FullChoice this week. It was a total mistake to do NoCount on holidays because it was impossible to get plain food when eatiung out - not 1 baked potato!!

Anyway, onwards and upwards I suppose!

Dior · 20/06/2006 10:20

Keep going. It is always hard to lose on holiday, so a 1lb gain is very good...Most people would have said 'Sod it' and eaten for England. 1lb will easily come off.

I'm not expecting miracles this week. On Father's Day, we went out for lunch and I had a brownie with a scoop of ice-cream. I did choose souup for my first course, but I just don't feel confident. I haven't done as much exercise as normal this week either. I think I would be grateful for a 0.5lb loss. The stupid thing is that I want to get the weight off and be a Leader again, but even that isn't enough to motivate me properly. In addition, I'm getting depressed again, and I'm worried that I will give in an stuff my face on chocolate...so far I've managed to stop myself, but I can't guarantee it will last...

speedymama · 20/06/2006 11:54

Oh, Dior. Try and stay focus on what you want. Keep visualising how you will look and feel when you get to goal. Drink a pint of water and the bloated feeling you get will diminish your need for food (well it works for me). If you must have chocolate, keep small bits worth 1 point in the fridge and nibble on that. The coolness will make it last longer and that will give you enough taste to satisfy your craving.

Good luck!

Dior · 20/06/2006 19:02

Well, after my counselling today, I was feeling a bit sorry for myself. I decided to head to M&S for a yummy sandwich as a treat. I was also looking for something chocolatey. I ended up buying a 'Count On Us' sandwich, with 2 COU chocolate mousses! So not too bad, although not No Count. I did have two Nestle Bars (2 points each) when I got home, but other than that have stuck to good food. I made a shepherd's pie (all with NC ingredients) and had two portions of veg.

We'll see - weigh in tomorrow!

sansouci · 21/06/2006 22:06

Drink is my big downfall. One glass of wine is never enough.

Am joining tomorrow - friends already go, so thought 'what the hell". Will have to keep coming back here for support!

Anyone got any discount codes I can quote so don't have to pay joining fee or similar?

QueenBeety · 26/06/2006 21:03

I didnt pay joining fee, they had some deal on

willow2 · 26/06/2006 21:04

Oh, CD - just noticed you here. Have to say, thought you were looking sliimmer on Saturday, just didn't get enough time to mention it, what with being dragged away to bouncy castle and all.
We will have to compare notes and tips on nice things to eat that aren't big on points.

willow2 · 26/06/2006 21:05

Beety too - when did you join, and why do you need to lose weight?

QueenBeety · 26/06/2006 21:18

i need to get into a bikini for my hols and the weight has been slowly edging on.

willow2 · 26/06/2006 21:31

QueenBeety · 26/06/2006 21:33
