WW Weekly Club??

babygibbon · 03/03/2006 14:15

Hello. I couldn't help but notice the old WW thread is long and has been going a while.

I'd love other weight watchers members to join me and report their weekly weigh ins, perhaps we could keep a stats chart (a la the Antenatal clubs) to keep us motivated, you know, name, start weight, start date, goal weight, height, points allowance, current weight loss to date etc. and update it monthly...anyone interested?

So, here's mine: Start weight 14st 1lb (arghh!), goal weight 9st 7lb, height 5'4 started 23 February and have lost 3.5lbs so far. I'm breastfeeding DD2 (8 weeks old) so am allowed 33 points.

Anyone else?

can anyone tell me if they get constipated when on weight watchers (or any other diet)

I am going to the loo, tho not as much as i use to, but i feel crampy and bloated. I have eaten sooo many fruit and veg portions so can't belive it could beconstipation, but just wondring what it could be Blush

anyone else had this?

biscuitdunkernomore · 30/04/2006 17:25

well done on your loss TallMummy - thats great!

Dior · 30/04/2006 20:28

I can for a while, but it eventually sorts itself out IYKWIM! Do you drink at least 8 glasses of liquid a day (not alcoholic!)? You shouldn't really be getting constipated if you are eating enough fruit/veg and drinking enough water...

Dior · 03/05/2006 19:09

I lost another 1.5 lbs, so 6 in two weeks. I was a bit disappointed TBH, as I felt much lighter than 1.5 lbs. I know it's a good loss, but I wanted 2 lbs...

andyrobo237 · 03/05/2006 20:05

I also only lost half a pound but felt like it was more - everyone in front of me was either not losing or gaining - must have been dodgy scales! Never mind it will show up next week!

Dior · 04/05/2006 18:00

The scales are not dodgy...hope you were joking. Mine were always calibrated so they were correct. Any difference is only 0.5lbs, and that is because any pair of scales can be a few ounces out either way. WW leaders get really fed up with members blaming the scales for not losing much weight!

tallmummy · 04/05/2006 20:48

Yippee 2 1/2 lbs off this week. 6 more to get to goal.

andyrobo237 · 04/05/2006 21:27

Dior - I was joking! I suspect the warmer weather and a bank holiday weekend did the damage for most people! It was that 'time of the month' for me, so I was lucky to lose at all!

Lilliput · 04/05/2006 21:36

Can I be really rude Dior and ask how much one gets paid for being a leader? It's something I am considering to earn myself MY OWN money that I can spend on ONLY ME!

Dior · 05/05/2006 14:13

Andyrobo - I did assume you were joking, but Leaders do get a lot of members blaming the scales for their gains Shock. Usually they are the ones who are not really committed to losing...

Lilliput - You're not rude to ask. Of course I don't mind. It depends on how big your meetings are really, and what time of the year it is. However, on average, I used to earn £30 a meeting. This includes sales commission. It's not the best paid job in the world, and can be very time consuming. However, it is FUN! Hope this helps. If you want any more info., CAT me, and I'll be happy to talk to you.

andyrobo237 · 07/05/2006 20:03

Made myself a strawberry smoothie for brekkie today - wizzed up some straberries, milk and a muller vanilla yog - it was fab! Got enought for tomorrow! Aiming to try one different meal a day difernt than usual - trying to trick my body - booked holiday today - Spain for a week in August - cant wait but want to lose 1 and a half stone!

Keep me motivated!!

andyrobo237 · 09/05/2006 18:52

Where has everybody gone?? Or have they got a life!! I am of to dance class tonight at dd's dance school - it is very good fun and hopeully will lose me a pound at tomorrows weigh-in!

andyrobo237 · 12/05/2006 14:55

I lost another pound this week - so that makes a total of 4.5! Want to get my silver 7 by the bank holiday weekend!

mummylovesus · 17/05/2006 09:05

Hi everybody was wondering if I could join - I started ww on Monday but would love extra support during the week and any advice or tips.

Weight 12st 10lbs
Height 5 ft 2 inch

First Goal - 11st 6lb (18lbs)

I would eventually like to be about 8 1/2 st but I will wait and see how I go, I may feel quite comfortable at a heavier weight but I am just hankering after my old weightGrin

Anyway I have chosen the no points plan, so if anyone has any good cheap menue plans, I would be over the moon to have a look.

Good Luck everyone and I hope you are all doing well!!

andyrobo237 · 17/05/2006 20:08

Welcome - it appears that everyone else has got their coats and left! I am doing the full choice plan, but may switch this week - I reckon I am eating too much junk, even though I am counting the points!

Lets motivate each other!

mummylovesus · 18/05/2006 13:13

andyrobo237 that's why I chose the no points as I have tried when it was just the points diet and I felt very restricted especially counting fruit etc so on the no points I feel that I am alloweed to eat more but with a lot less junk (because you do get the optional 21 points for the week) I havent used them yet but I feel that at least if I really needed a treat I have them there!!

Whe do you weigh in, I am a Monday and I have over 4 stone to loose. Have you lost anything yet?

andyrobo237 · 19/05/2006 21:04

I have lost 4 lbs so far - probably need to lose 3 stone - but taking it a half stone at a time! I get weighed on a wed - I am trying the no count this week - so ar so good!

Dior · 21/05/2006 20:11

Well, I'm here still. Ds had chicken pox for two weeks, and I was stuck in the house. I put 4lbs back on of the 6 I had lost. I am ok about it though, and started again on Wednesday. I clerk for my friend who runs the class I go to. She is an ex-member of mine who I got to Gold. Anyway, I have stuck to it and weigh in on Wednesday morning, so I'll post to let you all know how I did about getting that 4lbs off!

speedymama · 22/05/2006 12:37

I'm useless at keeping up with these things! I lost another pound last week so I am 9lbs away from target. The weight loss has been slow over the last several weeks but I am losing inches. Does everbody else find this. My clothes are much looser despite the scales appearing to remain staticSmile.

I was training for a 10k race but injured my knee 2 weeks ago whilst doing Davina's DVD. Not her fault I hasten to add - just me getting carried away with the skipping interludeGrin so not able to earn more bonus points which I don't use up.

andyrobo237 · 22/05/2006 20:18

Been hitting the exercise alot this week - put some new tunes on my ipod and get on our stepper - just done 25 mins at a really fast rate1 Dance class tomorrow and weigh-in on Wednesday - here's hoping! Smile

mummylovesus · 23/05/2006 16:49
