So, here we have our nice new little thread. No food type is banned from being mentioned. It is Xmas afterall Xmas Wink. So pull up a comfy chair, I've put a good film on the telly for you, put some logs on the fire and laid out some snacks. We have stollen, mince pies, chocs, shortbread, smelly cheese and crackers, wine and baileys.

Feel free to add anything else!

This thread will self destruct later in the new year, so don't worry about confessing to eating naughty nibbles, or putting on the odd pound (or 8).

I do the exact same thing!!! I go in my gym kit and leave without showering. I know full well I look like a fat tramp and I hate the way people look at me when I go in. I'm no stylista but I do dress up most days - vintage clobber and make-up and whatnot -and the difference between the contempt I get when I go there looking like a bag lady and the indifference I get when I'm in my normal clothes is hilair Grin

We might have seen each other there but tbh I've only been 9 or 10 times - what a waste of £100 Blush

If I get some gym courage before my membership runs out in April can I stalk you please?!

I'm sorry, I can't keep up and am shattered. (so shattered I'm not going to bother with the treat I was going to allow myself to tonight in fact) illcome back and read properly tomorrow. cheese did notice your DD wasn't well, hope she feels better tomorrow.

SW leader excelled herself tonight! I got my half stone award and had to be (cringe!) given it at the end. Leader walked over and gave me mine, then called out the name of the other person who'd got an award tonight and said 'you can come and get yours, you're younger'. Shock I mean, what the actual fuck?! The lady sat next to me (who had kindly earlier said I looked too young to have a 15 year old, bless her) was literally open mouthed. My friend and I just giggled. But what a cow!!! Shock

I lost 5lb this week, that's 8lb in two weeks. I'm fecking chuffed! Grin ( I have tried super hard this week)

I won't force you, but please do come and try one of the classes I attend. I can't promise you will be easy, infact, I know it won't be easy but losing weight and toning up isn't meant to be easy.

I plan to book the step and cardio class next week. If you fancy it, come along too.
You really shouldn't worry about what you think others might be thinking of you there. At least you are attending the gym to try and improve your health. I have seen all sorts of shapes and sizes.

I need to see a pic of you now so I know if I have seen you there at all! Grin

God bless you Kid, and I vow and declare that when I can face it, you'll be hearing from me . It's ace knowing I can have company if I do go because I would never, and I mean never, go to a class on my own.

I go to the gym, and I throw my fat body around Zumba and I do Pilates. I don't give a flying fuck what everyone else thinks of me. It's none of their business but it has taken me a long time to get to that mindset!

I love the gym, it keeps me sane. I have no fear of looking like a twat. Like when I fell off the power plate.

The worst I've done is when I sent my ipod flying while I was running on the treadmill. I didn't realise it could make so much noise! I swear every pair of eyes in there was on me lol
The other thing I did was to almost faint during a class. I panicked and just ran to the back of the room and sat down! I didn't pass out though and its happened a few times but I know I have time to casually walk to my bottle without freaking out.

Hi all, sorry I've been MIA, been really struggling to keep up with the fred, what with working full-time and life generally being very hectic right now.

You are all doing amazingly, I've fallen off the waggon, but it won't be forever and as I think I've pretty much plateau'd, I'm not that bothered.

So sorry I don't have the time to post more...I have only been checking every couple of days, and by the time I've caught up on everything, I'm too tired to type Grin.

Will promise to keep on lurking, and will post as and when I can.

Evening grrrr have been at a work meeting all day and did quite well for buffet lunch but failed big time at the cake tea break when I may have stuffed a few cakes in my gob. Also made the beef and pepper stew from the mag and the peppers were really bitter and yucky, that will teach me for using cheap peppers

Well done Mordi, I always take my shoes off for weigh in Deb, I'd take all my clothes off for a loss if half my neighbours weren't attending the class

Slinky much sympathy for the manic return to work, it will get better but it takes a while to get it all working
Pimp LOL at the excess skin, i think if you loose slow and steady combined with excercise it will be fine.

Cheeseand biscuits i`m still on board. Put on a pound and didnt stick to diet in any way. Went to center parcs and ate and drank +++.
Anyway back on it.
Have managed my first full day today.
BMullerlight yogurt
L Scrambled eggs on toast ( HB )
D Chicken and veg and muller yogurt and banana.
S 6.0 250mls wine .
Hope everyone is doing ok.

MORNING ALL! Happy Day of Doom Grin

Nice one on only gaining 1lb on hols Blondie - our hols is in 3 weeks' time and I'm convinced I'm going to gain about 1/2 a stone Hmm

My results not spectacular, but solid. I'm just so bastard relieved that I am in control at last. Didn't do nearly enough exercise this week, and I am actually 1lb behind my week-by-week target to lose 1 stone by holidays (15 Feb), so next week needs to be a special effort

Food today - out tonight so have allowed for 4 x slimline G&Ts, leaving about 300 cals for a snack either when I stagger get home, or on the hoof....I will not be forced out of control I SHAN'T! SO THERE!

B - Skinny cappucino, Belvita
S - salad of kale, chickpeas, tomatoes and fete; Activia yoggit
D - er. Booze! 4 G&Ts and whatever else I end up eating for 300 cals.

morning blooming I'm cream crackered, my big DS has a rotten cold and so was up 1/2 the night (so me too), I was late for work and the traffic was pants, and I forgot to bring in my coffee and breakfast. I have succumbed to a bacon sarnie from the canteen (pulled all the fat off it, on brown bread) and am now eating grapes/tomatoes and carrots to add some super free to it (Wink CSWS)

Don't blame you hedge. We were up most of the night too. So far I've had 2 cuppas and an apple.
Heading off to the gym now. Not exercising though, having a coffee with a friend!

Just realised I have one dress that fits for work. no trousers and no skirts. Hmmm need tog o shopping but I dread it. I never find a nice pair of trousers in petite, I'm prob a 12-14 at the moment, though my trendy chinos that I bought when I hit 11stone 4 are a 12 and they are a bit quite tight. Either way, it's going to be a painful experience.
