There's a free recipe book GI style with one of the papers this weekend - think it was the telegraph but it was on an advert so will probably be on again.

Will you lot stop beating yourselves up over bits of chocolate etc.. If you can't do 100% then decide what treats you can have each day then stick to that otherwise you'll feel guilty every day and more likely to give up!! It's supposed to be realistic and achievable - it's only the first week, we shouldn't be using yet!! C'mon where's your willpower???

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 06/01/2006 20:05

Todays menu went like this..

Rice (yet again!)
Hot dog sausages (with the rice)
Pear
satsuma
grapes
yougurt (used fruit and yoghurt to make pudding)
Backed potato
Chicken breast
6 white choccie and rasbery cookies - yummy!
Hot chocolate
water

bubblerock · 06/01/2006 20:08

Could this be my treat everyday?

DustAnyone · 06/01/2006 20:48

I am going to save enough calories (115) for a Curly Wurly every evening. Might eat it, might not but at least I don't feel as if I'm depriving myself too much.

busywizzy · 06/01/2006 20:55

I've been catching up on the weeks ironing in an attempt to resist having another slice of lemon cake. I can hear it calling my name

UCM Sorry, I meant it was you who has done all the hard work.

Round of applause for you and Furball coming from me now - clap, clap, clap, clap, clap

Also, today I went swimmimg whilst DS had his diving lesson - did 850M (v.good for me), & aimimg at 1000M next week.

JenumGeranium · 06/01/2006 21:49

Well done!

I am trying to pursuade DH to let me get a dog so I can do more walking!

Furball · 06/01/2006 21:53

busywizzy - It wasn't Mrs Spoon it was UCM.

Furball · 06/01/2006 21:55

OK - So you know that, I've just read it.

Furball · 06/01/2006 22:01

Anyway girlies, I'm in charge now, this is my patch. I want no messing, straight up or your out!!!

Right things have changed abit. I've taken over from UCM on the chart front. Rather than bombard me with 50 emails every Tuesday. I will start a thread in the big/slim/whatever section and just post your details, every Thursday I'll send you each a copy of the chart. So we can all seen whos doing what etc, etc,

Everybody OK with that?

WideWebWitch · 06/01/2006 22:01

Today:

2 pieces white bread toast with olive spread and marmite
an apple
an avocado
A green pepper
dipped in reduced fat hummus and carrot and parsnip pate
2 more apples
A packet of lite crispbreads, 118 cals
2.5 fishfingers
half a tin of peas

No booze for day 3 now.
I might have some dark dairy free chocolate in a minute but I reckon I'll still be ok calorie wise.

Milliways · 06/01/2006 22:06

JenumGeranium- you can have my dog!

Mad German Shepherd Dog for excercise anyone

bubblerock · 06/01/2006 22:16

I think the reason people were emailing was to keep the weights within the group as some were uncomfortable posting it on the forum. The charts are much appreciated though (I don't have excel so I don't think I'll be able to open an excel file)

I was attacked today by a german shephard - luckily he was a puppy and lost so he hurtled towards me like I was a bone I had ds2 in the buggy and was on my way to get ds1 from school so I ended up finding a piece of rope near some bins with the idea that I would walk the puppy to school and then ring the warden when we got home.

  • puppy didn't know how to walk properly so I ended up carrying the bloody thing whilst pushing the buggy with one hand, got to school eventually and got a bloke to carry him while I got ds1 then got back to where i'd found him and thought i'd knock on a house that now had a light on and that was his home - she hadn't even realised he was gone!!!

I always attract waifs and strays, he was my 3rd in 18 months!

JenumGeranium · 06/01/2006 22:17

If I could pursuade DH I would have him! (or her?)

Furball · 06/01/2006 22:20

I've got the original chart from UCM as have we all. All you need to post is your loss if you don't want to post your weight.

jambuttie · 06/01/2006 22:45

home from work and have just had 2 x toast and 2 scarmbled eggs looks like i'm over today then

niccick · 07/01/2006 05:39

Well its Saturday afternoon and I have a serious craving for some chocolate and my only saving grace is that we have none and its to hot outside and I cannot be bothered going out.

DH and I took DS and the dog for a walk this morning and then went and had some breakfast and then for lunch had some pasta, but I think that i probably should have left the second bowl because now I feel very piggish

Not sure what i shall be doing for dinner but we have had a late lunch so it will be something light

Have a good weekend everyone
