Anyone want to join me?

There is of course another week of indulgence left before we have to start but thought it might be good to get into the right mind set.

bambi06 · 31/12/2005 19:40

count me in. i need to lose the saggy baggy parts around my middle.. ive just finiished off abox of choc rolls to get rid of them so im feeling a bit ick so the bottle of beer is helping

Screwballmuppet · 31/12/2005 19:41

Have we set a weigh in day?

UCM · 31/12/2005 20:14

So everyone eat/drink as much as you like until Tuesday and have fun.

Then we are nose to the grindstone, no crips/sweets/butter/biscuits/chips/choclit and worst of all (in my case anyway)......wine

But Happy New Year tonight

UCM · 31/12/2005 20:16

We will have the weigh in on a Tuesday as it's exactly one week after we started. If that's ok with everyone.

bambi06 · 31/12/2005 20:20

how about an incentive..ie the first to get to one stone will receive £1 [or what anybody agrees with] from everybody on the lose a stone or would that put too much pressure on eveerybody.. sorry i cant type tonight the beer is getting to me

UCM · 31/12/2005 20:24

sounds good to me.

busywizzy · 31/12/2005 21:53

Count me in. Lost all my weight after having DS2 (9 months) but have slowly put a stone back on over the past few months - comfort eating to compensate for sleepless nights has been my excuse.

Will weigh in tomorrow (will let tonights curry and wine digest first) and will e-mail you UCM.

Happy New Year

bubbles2904 · 01/01/2006 10:16

i'm in too. i'm currently on sw diet and got my stone award on wednesday night. i weigh 10st 5 now and i'm 4ft 11" so thats far too heavy for my height. i have some nice recipes i can share that are good for those on the sw diet.

wilbur · 01/01/2006 11:29

I'm in too. Still bf'ing ds2, so not going for drastic loss, but need to get off my arse and do some exercise and stop eating so much junk. Hopefully some poounds will come off as a result. Are we weighing in once a week? Am planning to weigh myself tomorrow as a starting point.

CorrieDale · 01/01/2006 11:39

Me too please! Will email my weight tomorrow am if that's OK. This is just a brilliant idea!!!! I wanted to go back to WW but they only meet at 6.30 - bang in the middle of DS's bedtime routine. So this is great.

tiggerpig · 01/01/2006 12:47

can i join? could do with losing a stone..am 5ft and 9stone 4...ideal weight 8st4 (pre baby)

appyday · 01/01/2006 14:47

I would love to join in if you've got room. Am 5ft3 and weigh 10st 12. A stone would be a good target for me, then maybe another 1/2 st in 4 months as I want to get married this year but not this size.

hullabaloo · 01/01/2006 14:51

Can I join in too? Have put on loads of weight this year and finding it all very depressing. My biggest problem is my intense hatred of all things exercise related. I am going to Aquafit classes and trying to do more walking but really must try and face up to my gym demons. With the help and support on here I am sure I will be more motivated. UCM I will email my (quite scared to look) weight and height details tomorrow if that is OK?
Oh and Happy New Year everyone!

sarahinphuket · 01/01/2006 14:52

can I join in please?
I want to drop 2 jeans sizes and also lose quite a bit around the top half. I think I would like to lose around 3 stone but that might be a bit optimistic to start with.

I cant weigh in at the moment but think i am around 90kg.......

I'll be following the Liver Cleansing Diet....which I have used before and it is fantastic. I lost 6kg in 5 weeks last time without really trying.

Harktheheraldcabewillsing · 01/01/2006 15:24

Hi. Can I join too?
will have to weigh myself as I've only got dodgy scales to go by - have put on around 1 1/2 stone in preg... Think I'm around 10 stone but will e-mail stats in

JillM · 01/01/2006 16:38

Can I join too? I need to loose about another two stone. Have lost just over one stone already but am finding it hard to be good. Another stone is a good goal. Is there a time scale?
