Well, it was the wittiest name I could come up with. For those returning after lovely holidays Smile

Right I've googled it. And apparently they half the weight loss on the first week for slimmer of the month. To make it fair. So that would be right. I still wished she had written my actual loss on the certificate.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 27/09/2011 08:33

Why do they do that? Ah well!

QBEE · 27/09/2011 09:05

Congrats sofa, demand a new certificate! Grin Nearly a stone in a month is fabulous.

kid hope you are feeling better today. I am baffled by some of homework my eldest brings back, it seems so...random!

Does anyone know which of the pasta n sauces are free please?

I had too little to eat yesterday as have a sore throat so need to up the intake today so am planning on having

b-grapes and yoghurt
l-jacket and beans with onion salad
d-lean lamb, mash, loads of veggies

Weigh in at group tonight. My scales show me as down 3lbs even after onkengate but I am doubtful they will let me weigh in naked and I cannot wear the same as last week as I will freeze Grin

ameRIAcansmooth · 27/09/2011 09:10

that is pants sofa. it shouldn't matter whether you lose in your first week or your 15th, if you start at a weight and lose some, then it should all be recordedAngry. Fecking diet brainwashing! (wonder what they do for people like me who either didn't lose or gain 1/2lb after the first week? Hope they do't just half the first week you lose anything)

thanks for the offer chees, I may be beyond help!

well I WI-ed (I am obviously a bit confused and have mislaid a day somewhere), and ... I've lost over 10 stone since last weekShock. Either that or the scales have brokenHmmWink. Will have to WI at Boots next time I'm in town, so I expect to miss DoD this week.

have a nice day in the sunshineSmile

ameRIAcansmooth · 27/09/2011 09:12

am pondering a return to green days. there is very little food to choose from today.

QBEE · 27/09/2011 09:13

Ria let me know how much you want for those scales...Grin

grinningbee · 27/09/2011 10:57

Um, where did the promised sunshine and warmth go???

Ds still asleep. Might not get to go shopping until tomorrow the way this is going! Ah well.

Time for a cuppa and a banana I think.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 27/09/2011 10:59

Wake him up and maybe he will sleep tonight! Grin. No sun here yet either, I was hoping to BBq later!

grinningbee · 27/09/2011 11:26

Just got him up

Just been spraying some mould killer in our porch, and now the place smells like a swimming pool. It's evil stuff. Think it must be on my clothes too. Stinky!!

I need one of those facemasks to stop breathing it in.

Right, better get the dc sorted after I wash the walls off and then we can go and play shopping. Hurrah.

OP posts:
GandTiceandaslice · 27/09/2011 11:48

ria send those scales this way please!

I quite like the small of mould killer Blush

kid · 27/09/2011 12:50

Just had my lunch, I was starving as I didn't have a snack at break time but feel better now. I'm wearing heels for the first time this year and it makes me feel slimmer so it doesn't matter if I actually look slimmer Grin
Not sure my feet appreciate being stuck in them all day though!

GandTiceandaslice · 27/09/2011 13:15

I'm going to go for a walk. I must exercise. I must. It's crap though! Wink

kid · 27/09/2011 15:45

Make sure you walk fast G&T for an extra calorie burner!
I'm off to the gym tonight as I managed to sort childcare out. I'm not sure about Thursday as I think gym partner isn't going. There is a later class that I don't mind going to by myself which I have booked as a back up.

Just having a little rest before the dreaded mad rush on a Tuesday.

whatkungfuthat · 27/09/2011 16:19

Hello everyone, Welcome to the new ladies. I've just been reading back through the thread to see what I missed. So sorry to hear about your friends dad Kid Sad
Bee by the time the WI comes round next week you may have lost any weight, hopefully if it went on quick it won't 'stick'. I gained 10lbs over xmas so it can't be that bad.
Sofa what utter cows not letting you have all your loss on your certificate. I got SOTM several times last year but they wouldn't let me have it as I didn't stay to meetings, just got weighed.
I've been in hiding since having an indian on Saturday and trying to exercise it off. I walked 10 miles yesterday then crashed out in front of a Jack the Ripper thing on tv.

Food
Hobbit toast
LF noodles, grapes, ML
Omelette, gammon, mushrooms
Snack for later - HE cheese and more grapes.

Sofabitch · 27/09/2011 18:30

I've promised myself once I've lost a bit more weight I'll start going to do a bit more exercise. I'm hoping it works out that when dd starts nursery in April I'll be feeling more confident.

whatkungfuthat · 27/09/2011 18:35

sofa I now exactly how you feel about being confident. I use the wii fit to do 'miles' of step and have just got a pedometer/wrist weights from the next sale so I'm trying to do loads of walking with them on. Once they stop hurting so much I intend to wear them all the time at home to get rid of my bingo wings Grin

whatkungfuthat · 27/09/2011 19:29

know

Sofabitch · 27/09/2011 19:58

I just can't imagine me trying to heave my big arse round a rumba class lmao.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 27/09/2011 20:31

swearing alert

I'm so fucking fucked off. When I go back to work, I'm having to go back to A&E which I did as a junior doctor 4 years ago to a hospital 45 min away. I'm supposed to be going back at 60% hours which should be 3 days a week. But now those 3 days could be late shifts, twilights or nights. How the fuckety fuck am I going to get child care for a rota which changes every week. AngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngry

kid · 27/09/2011 20:34

Gym was great tonight, I actually enjoyed it! Believe it or not but I was actually brave enough to wear just a vest top (and trousers of course Grin) I usually hide under one if dh's T-shirts.

There is going to be a cardio combat challenge in November. It's to raise money for breast cancer care and the challenge is a 3 hour cardio combat class Shock

Dinner tasted better than it smelt thankfully as it didn't smell very nice.

Sofabitch · 27/09/2011 20:49

Oh cheese that sucks. Aren't you meant to have the right to go back to the same job? I work shifts and childcare is a nightmare. Sad luckily I get more than a weeks notice. Can you not do fixed shifts?

Well done kid I'm glad you enjoyed it. You get A shiny

grinningbee · 27/09/2011 20:55

Oh Cheese that sounds rough. Are you able to ask for specific shifts? Or is it the luck of the draw?

If not... considered baby number 2 yet? Wink

Kid glad you are enjoying the gym. Are you going to do that challenge?

Ds is currently sleeping, and has been now for 2 hours. Having now been up for more than 18 hours I am really hoping he sleeps better tonight. Fingers crossed.

Another day of saintly eating completed. It would be so lovely if I could lose the gain by the next weigh in.

OP posts:
Cheeseandbiscuits · 27/09/2011 21:01

I don't know, I will find out in the next few weeks. I hope I get specific shifts otherwise it will be impossible. Hurrumph.

Strop over, I'm having a glass of wine.

Well done on the gym kid.
hope you have a better night bee. I'm craving cheese and biscuits tonight Grin

Cheeseandbiscuits · 27/09/2011 21:02

Baby no 2? You have to have sex to get one of those, don't you?

grinningbee · 27/09/2011 21:04

Or a turkey baster Wink
