Welcome one, and welcome ALL to our 10th Thread, celebrating the long haul that has been central to our successful weight loss...

There is certainly lots more success to be enjoyed, so stay and weigh, there is always someone on hand for support or to give a kick up the backside as needed Grin We are good at motivating one another that's for sure!

Passes out the champagne that looks suspiciously like wine, Blondes you are only allowed ONE!

tbh i would prob run a mile

last night freaked me out with total stranger saying im hot and kissing me on the cheek

though have to confess he was hot his self and in months/years to come , ..........

RatherBeOnThePiste · 31/05/2011 20:53

It's always nice to be flirted with and a flirty kiss on the cheek is harmless fun Grin

I can imagine that it felt weird for you too. Confused
Send him my way, I'd love some innocent flirting!

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 31/05/2011 20:56

tis true, was harmess and was flattering - kimmy keeps saying im a hotty now on fb lol

RatherBeOnThePiste · 31/05/2011 21:06

I quite like that sort of harmless flirting when I go out, but it doesn't mean anything. I wouldn't act on it.. And you are right it is flattering Smile

You can be a Blonde Hotty!!

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 31/05/2011 21:20

RatherBeOnThePiste · 31/05/2011 21:35

I've got the munchies soooo bad. And there are CRISPS downstairs. Oh Gawd. I ended up buying a multipack and there are C&O ones in there.

This is going to be an effort to put them out of my mind, cos they are calling To me so loudly!

OP posts:
GettinTrimmer · 01/06/2011 07:44

dd has a new teacher - very handsome young man, I wouldn't mind being flirted with by him! I find on the very odd occasions when I think I'm being flirted with it's never by anybody I want to be flirted with (if that makes sense!)

Pisty did you give in to the crisps?

RatherBeOnThePiste · 01/06/2011 07:53

I did withstand the midnight munchies Trim... But it was hard. It was because they were calling me so loudly. We never normally have crisps in the house.

I'm going for a midweek sneaky weigh in and I'm hoping to be happy afterwards Smile

Am going to have a totally fed up moment - post has just come (never normally this early) and there was nothing for DS - its his birthday tomorrow, and this means yet again family, godparents etc have forgotten. I feel so badly for him, he is so excited about his birthday. Sad I know he will be sad, he has literally just asked when the post usually comes, he doesn't realise its been. Yesterday he was asking where his cards were - we normally put them on the fireplace as they arrive, but there is nothing to put there! It sounds like I'm being mercenary, but I am truly not....

I think it's because it always falls on half term, and most people are away, but of course no one ever forgets DD's. He has a great paint-balling party booked for July, and is going out to the cinema to see Pirates of the Caribbean with his best mate tomorrow evening, but he is still young enough to hold great store on the day itself. DH is also away again this year..

And I could kick myself because DH managed to go away on Sunday and not sign his card from us either Sad

Don't know where this belief came from that I lost a pound. I didn't weigh in last week 'cos I didn't want to admit to the shame Blush

Anyway, seeings as it is only 2 days to weigh-in, I'll be extra good for the next tow days and hopefully won't have to admit to too much of an increase.

All my hard work before and after Christmas has all gone back on to my tummy down the drain :(

With Piste's fantastic example, I am going to low carb again. I need something to get me going again - and it's only 5 weeks before we are due to be off to Greece again Shock

I've done the Shred this morning and am about to go for a 2+ mile with dh.

bebejones · 01/06/2011 10:09

Oh No Piste! Poor DS! :(

Could you not prompt people today? If they post it first class today then it should arrive in 2moros post. Or maybe get some cards & do it on their behalf Hmm Or maybe that is a bit deceptive...Hmm It's so horrid when people who should remember forget :(

RatherBeOnThePiste · 01/06/2011 10:26

bebejones - they are away, that's the probs. On the grandparent front there is only MIL, and with DD she sends it about 3 weeks early just to make sure. Sad He is so secondary I feel sometimes. My bro is in Japan, and they will skype and send him a card, but it is impossible to judge how long the post takes from there. We've sent them stuff that has arrived with in 48 hours and we've aslo had stuff take nearly 4 months. My lovely SIL is in Greece. his godfather lives in the states, the other godparents are away..

Just so sad for him, and he's so excited!

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/06/2011 10:52

piste poor ds :( can you email people cards here and get a few email cards sent to him?

forge dh scribble, i always did for marks lol

GettinTrimmer · 01/06/2011 10:58

Pretty, I am also going for a run in a bit.

Piste sorry people are forgetting about ds's birthday Sad Could they make it up to him?

I have very strong resolve atm! Salad with left over salmon for lunch.

We hope to be moving soon, the executors of the house we are buying are just taking ages to answer any queries raised and our buyer has collared me on my way home a couple of times with questions.

ds is very wobbly and unhappy we are downsizing the garden Sad I have promised a housewarming party as something he can look forward to!

GettinTrimmer · 01/06/2011 10:59

Blondes that's a great idea!

LRDTheFeministDragon · 01/06/2011 11:01

Blush Blush Blush Blush Blush

Hi everyone.

Blush

Can I creep back onto the thread again? I've been on a control-free downward spiral ... I'm really crap at this but I would like to give it another (!) another go, I'm feeling really unhealthy.

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/06/2011 11:07

welcome back lrd :)

goes to hunt list

RatherBeOnThePiste · 01/06/2011 11:08

welcome back LRDTheFeministDragon - stay and weigh!!

Blondes - good idea on the emailing cards, I'm going to look at it now. I'm normally such a hard cow, but this really has got to me Sad and I'm cross too, cos no one forgets DD Angry It's unfair.

Yes to forging - I always do, I think it is the principle though.

Hold on tight to your strong resolve GT

I've just been and weighed myself and I look as if I've lost some, but I think it's just muscle because I've not been exercising - I feel like flump! Grin

Piste I'm so sad to read that aoout your DS's birthday. Are they disorganized or just crap? Poor him.

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/06/2011 11:18

LRD you are not a flump and well done on losing 2 lbs
