Welcome one, and welcome ALL to our 10th Thread, celebrating the long haul that has been central to our successful weight loss...

There is certainly lots more success to be enjoyed, so stay and weigh, there is always someone on hand for support or to give a kick up the backside as needed Grin We are good at motivating one another that's for sure!

Passes out the champagne that looks suspiciously like wine, Blondes you are only allowed ONE!
Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine
Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine Wine

Cheers and cue the confetti!!

Surely cutting your legs off is cheating and therefore I would win as you would be disqualified?!?!?! WinkGrin

prettybird · 10/08/2011 08:35

Does liposuction count as a weight loss method? Wink

prettybird · 10/08/2011 08:40

I will catch up with Smalline , who is starting with an advantage over Trimmer and me, and I WILL overake her [determined]

GettinTrimmer · 10/08/2011 08:56

Well, I had a setback yesterday evening when the munchies attacked - I had 1.5 glasses of wine, bag of crisps and some ryvitas, these munchies are lethal. The good news is dc going to mum & dad's today so I WILL go for a run and ignore the boxes still to be unpacked.

We need an evening munchies strategy.

Pretty, plum crumble/wine/cheese & oakcakes = 3 mile run? Liposuction and cutting off legs agree Bebe is cheating

GettinTrimmer · 10/08/2011 08:58

smalline good luck with this house buying/selling malarky. Is there much on the market to choose from for your purchase?

prettybird · 10/08/2011 09:03

Trimmer : I was proud of myself last night: we had cold roast chicken and a) I took all the skin of my bits and b) I turned down dh's offer to open a bottle of (very nice) Chardonnay. :)

Smalline · 10/08/2011 09:41

Thanks Trimmer, there are lots of houses on the market to choose from at the moment, we didn't want to look properly until we had an offer on our house, there were 2 houses that we were interested in, one is now sold, the other has been temporarily taken off the market.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 10/08/2011 09:49

Liposuction only counts if I do it, if anyone else does it, technically it is cheating...

Trimmer - Step. Away. From. The. Kitchen.
That is so bad and you wont win - and go running!!

Pretty - your good behaviour last night only just about counterbalances Crumble Night.

Go Smalline....Loving the underhand tactics there Grin

I have another incentive/target day to break the 12 stone barrier get to 11 stone something: ds' birthday is on 10 September and as well as the kids' party, we often do an adults' one at the same time. ie the parents that we are friends with get invited to stay and enjoy some bubbly The joys of having a big house with solid walls and doors that we can shut to block out the noise of the bedlam Grin

GettinTrimmer · 10/08/2011 12:33

I wish I could introduce my ds to your ds Pretty then we could come to the bubbly session!

Agree with Pisty last night's good behaviour counteracts the plum crumble.

I have just done a 20 minute run, or slow jog more like. BUT I did it!! That has probably burnt off about 2 ryvitas but not the crisps and wine.

Hope you are around tonight Pisty if the munchies attack, you do a good talking to.

prettybird · 10/08/2011 13:44
Grin

Doesn't do the diet much good though as I do adult munchies (mini spanakopita - spinach rolls) and plenty of kids stuff that we can eat too, like cheese star biscuits, fairy cakes, marmite sandwiches, cheese sandwiches, cocktail sausages done in seed mustard and honey.........

GettinTrimmer · 10/08/2011 21:19

The munchies are attacking.....I am just about to make a cup of tea and peel a carrot....

I am averting my eyes from Pretty's post about party grub.

prettybird · 10/08/2011 22:54

.... just trying to tempt you and you lead you off the straight and narrow WinkHmm

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/08/2011 23:16

erm how did my name get dragged into the comp

im gonna weight tomorrow as away fri/sat but also means i have only been dieting for 4 days so tbh dont expect any loss

RatherBeOnThePiste · 11/08/2011 09:27

We are trying to kick start ourselves B.

If you want to join me and Bebe on a race to goal please do, the three of us have about the same to lose....

Pretty, Smalline and GT are doing a separate race to 11st something, and there are dirty tricks going on there!

I have dietary handicap of the States for two weeks. But even so. I will beat Bebe.

OP posts:
GettinTrimmer · 11/08/2011 09:45

Damn those munchies. Had a carrot last night, 2 ryvitas and a small pot of houmous.

To get some discipline back I am counting ww pro points, so far had 1 boiled egg and a slice of toast, then some fruit. 5 points. Have a challenge coming up as we are going to a museum this morning and having lunch in the cafe.

Weather is awful down here Sad

RatherBeOnThePiste · 11/08/2011 09:56

GT - just go to bed early!! No giving in to munchies Grin
