There is certainly lots more success to be enjoyed, so stay and weigh, there is always someone on hand for support or to give a kick up the backside as needed Grin We are good at motivating one another that's for sure!

Wow, it's only 10 oclock and I feel like I have done a days work alreadySmile.

DS had to be at school at 6:20 this morning, he's on a school trip to France, hope the weather is better over there, it has been raining all morning here.

Someone is supposed to be viewing the house at 10 this morning, it's spic and span at the moment, but obviously won't stay like this for longGrin.

Well done trimmer on your 3lbs loss, this time next week you will be moving won't you. We have had a steady flow of viewers, no more offers though, I've noticed recently, a couple of houses that previously had 'sold' signs on them, now have 'for sale' signs again.

Glad you had a good time in Tenerife blondes, you did well sts, well done pea also for sts.

RatherBeOnThePea · 08/07/2011 14:45

Smalline - my son was on a day trip to France yesterday! I had to leave home at 4.30 - and they got home at about 10pm, but they had a great day I hope yours has too....

Have a good weekend everyone!
I have a whole weekend with no rowing!!!! I can't explain how liberated we feel. DD is in Dundee on an outward bound course, so is missing 3 and the joy of that is we get 3 lie ins! Joy. I even turned off the alarm clock for the first time in forever..

I'm hoping its going to be sunny, because I could so do with an appointment with my sunbed and a snooze.

Just noticed the wizard Harry Potter smilies [hgrin] I must book to see that, DD is one of those who has really grown up with it, it feels like the end of an era x

Enjoy your day lovely GT, enjoy your weekend BEbe, and I know you're enjoying yours Blondes!!

Smalline · 09/07/2011 19:49

Hope you are still having a lie-in pea

Just about to drop off the dc at mum and dad's and spend the day packing.

right, focusing today after 2 days of too much food and alcohol! But really enjoyed our day in London yesterday, saw Kevin Spacey as Richard III at the Old Vic Theatre. He spoke in a very English accent with the occasional bit of American!

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/07/2011 09:33

bless dd smalline

yes im having a good weekend pea

and after todays sb and badness i shall get back on diet and try to lose another lb by friday x

RatherBeOnThePea · 10/07/2011 09:58

GT - I woke up at 8 - but pitifully that is a lie in for me! Very nice though to not have to use the alarm. Grin

Glad you enjoyed your Old Vic trip, you've had that planned for so long! Good luck with the packing and stuff x

B, I've had quite a busy weekend on the food and alcoholic beverage front too... Lovely. Back to boring tomorrow though. Aiming for a sts.

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/07/2011 01:56

when do you weigh piste pea

im very awake :( and its almost 2am

RatherBeOnThePea · 11/07/2011 06:34

Still a Friday weigher inner B, it's just thaT after this weekend I am aiming for a sts come next Friday Grin

How frustrating on the sleep front. You must be exhausted.
< passes matchsticks >
< not the chocolate variety >

RatherBeOnThePea · 11/07/2011 06:44

Officially starting at my new job today!
< gulp >
< actually no gulp, am looking forward to it >

GettinTrimmer · 11/07/2011 09:52

Sorry about grotty night Blondes. Did you get a bit of sleep?

Good luck in your new job Pea. Let us know how it goes today Smile

It's sports day at school, have to go down and watch the dc before I start work today. It's a break from the packing!

Did you have a good weekend Bebe?

RatherBeOnThePea · 11/07/2011 13:46

Home already!! I feel so PT and I love it!!! Hours are 8.30-2 but people were going to visit schools and taking reports to new teachers so I just sort of shuffled off!!

Am lying in the sun [joy]

Am v happy to be starting now. Am interviewing on Wednesday which will be nice to choose someone for the new team. Brilliant idea of mine to start now except I lose 2 weeks holiday, and as you all know, we teachers dont get long enough

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/07/2011 22:57

glad 1st day went well :)

im surviving on less sleep lol

bebejones · 12/07/2011 13:25

I'm baaaaaaaaaack! :o

Weekend was fab! Had the best time seeing my old school friends & all their gorgeous LOs! DD was v well behaved. Then went to the farm with my Godmother, her husband, DD & my mum on Sunday. Then saw my bestie who is DDs Godmother in the evening. Was so chilled and lovely. :) Needless to say, didn't diet this weekend! Lots of scrummy food, but lots of activity too!

Got practically no food in the house, so have had about 6 grapes, 3 nairns biscuits, & shared a cheese roll & pack of reduced fat crisps with DD! Off to Tesco in a bit (joy Hmm) so shall stock up on 'good' things!

Hope new job is ok Piste Pea!?

for Blondes

Trimmer - how was sports day?

Smalline - aren't kids great with their timing?!! :o

RatherBeOnThePea · 12/07/2011 14:24

Thank you Am loving the new place. Shorter days, longer terms, overall responsibility. So same money. Bargain But essentially it's PT. I'm home now. Fab. I will often have work to do out of actual school hours but that is to be expected and is reflected in the dosh. Am interviewing tomorrow so that will be for someone even more new than me! There is a very sunny feel to this place.

Glad you had s lovely weekend Bebe. And a hug for my night owl.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 13/07/2011 21:13

Trim - hope sports day went well - i hated primary sports day. When my DC left Primary my DH said he was glad he never had to watch them throw a fucking bean bag into a fucking bucket ever again. Where everyone's a winner. Shock Shock Shock Shock Shock Shock
And he is usually such a placid man!

Sports Day could be such a good opportunity for discreet sunbathing too, but its never sunny enough IME!!!

Although this year on my DC Sports Day it was, but it went on for 7 hours and was on a Saturday. Twas like the Olympics!

Good luck for Friday weigher inners, I think that's just me and B these days?

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/07/2011 17:37

yes i think everyone has dropped out :(

sorry been awol a bit

i need a fast weight loss - just booked weeks holiday in ibiza - leave in 2 weeks

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

RatherBeOnThePiste · 14/07/2011 17:46

Cut out carbs. Within a day of giving up bread my tummy felt flatter, less bloated iyswim. Do it for the next two weeks and you'll certainly lose 5/6 lbs.

Fab to be going to Ibiza!

OP posts:
bebejones · 14/07/2011 19:44

I shall be weighing in....although I'm not hopeful for a loss! :(

RatherBeOnThePiste · 14/07/2011 23:03

I'm hoping for a sts. But am not sure. I'm all all hormonal, craving crisps and crap. Haven't got any fortunately.

prettybird · 14/07/2011 23:15

Ds' primary school doesn't do Sports Days. It does an Activities Day just before school finishes, to which parents are not invited Grin

The only things we get to go to are Assemblies - about one a term (Eid, Diwali, Nativity, Easter.... and the Leavers' Assembly). Of course, we only bother going to those assemblies in which our dc's class is actually participating (1-2 a year).
