Welcome one, and welcome ALL to our 10th Thread, celebrating the long haul that has been central to our successful weight loss...

There is certainly lots more success to be enjoyed, so stay and weigh, there is always someone on hand for support or to give a kick up the backside as needed Grin We are good at motivating one another that's for sure!

Passes out the champagne that looks suspiciously like wine, Blondes you are only allowed ONE!

Let's keep going slinks. Hope to see you all soon.

Smalline · 02/07/2011 18:43

Sts again this week, haven't been exercising as much as have been sooooooooo busy. Summer Fete was today, it was a lovely day and I'm just glad that it is over now, just the Year 2 and 6 leavers do to think of and then can forget the pta stuff until nearer Christmas, that's if we are still here of courseSmile.

Well done on your losses Piste, and Sureslim, great news bebe

Sorry about your 2lbs Trimmer I'm sure you will lose that quickly once your mind in back on it, too much to think about right now, I don't envy you with your decluttering, I should be doing that now before the move, I just can't be arsed. I'm commutable from London by the way, we are about 20 mins awaySmile

RatherBeOnThePiste · 03/07/2011 06:22

Smalline - you sound very busy so I'm sure you will appreciate the summer break!

Lovely to see Trim for coffee yesterday - good luck with packing up!

Lunch out yesterday too followed by a party last night. Now I'm up too early as DD is going to the London youth games again for indoor rowing at Crystal Palace. It's DSs party today too - paintballing. Gawd. Hope it's ok!

bebejones · 04/07/2011 07:19

Go and find me if I don't report in....have been very naughty lately! Blush

RatherBeOnThePiste · 04/07/2011 07:28

I will!

We all need to stay and keep going or I'm afraid we will all end up where we started. Sad

So, glad you're here Smile

OP posts:
GettinTrimmer · 04/07/2011 10:10

Piste that is sadly true Sad it is true that the whole lot can pile back on, old habits are incredibly hard to break. Lovely to see you too for coffee, the freesias are very aromatic in my front room, I don't need smelly candles atm!

How was the paintballing?

Bebe it is lovely to see you, you're amongst friends, we have all been naughty!

Smalline how is it going with house viewings etc?

Meal on Saturday night was disappointing but the setting of the pub we went to is gorgeous, riverside pub moored with many boats.

My dc are off school today, inset day, we are going to beach. So far I've had scrambled eggs on toast, and we have to buy a picnic lunch on the way as I've not been shopping. that's a challenge, I'll get a salad but it's tempting to pick up a ginsters cheese & onion pasty!

bebejones · 04/07/2011 13:02

I'm trying really hard to be good. Have been to Tesco & stocked up on soup. (I know I should make it but it's too hot to be in the kitchen with the stove on!) Didn't have much in at breakfast so just had a banana. :(

Lunch - 2 ryvita with extra light philly, & a smearing of tomato chutney. a small ahndful of grapes, a satsuma & a lf yoghurt.
Dinner - Chilli Bean soup with strawberries for after.

Must resist the last of the madiera cake that is sat in the kitchen. I sent nearly all of it in to work with DH! If it's not here I can't eat it!! :o

RatherBeOnThePiste · 04/07/2011 20:26

Have been really good today, can't be arsed to do anything now, DH is not here, so I shall maybe just have a yog. Had a lovely weekend of nosh, so maybe just need to focus this week.

OP posts:
GettinTrimmer · 05/07/2011 11:33

Morning Smile

Bebe that sounds very focused.

Piste, I agree we need to focus this week, I am not sure when to wi, I did last wednesday as I kept putting it off, I am going to leave it till Friday this week.

So far so good today, beans on toast for breakfast and just had prawn salad for lunch. A danger time is waiting for dd while she's swimming so I am taking a banana and an apple.

bebejones · 05/07/2011 13:32

Trying to remain focused!

After DD has gone to bed is my worst time for wanting to snack! I managed to resist last night. Although I srank so much yesterday I had to get up twice in the night to pee!!! Blush

So far today
B - half red grapefruit & lf yoghurt
L - 2 ryvita with xl philly & chutney. 4 pringles, a satsuma & a tny piece of quiche.
D - The rest of the bean soup from yesterday!!

Will prob have some sf jelly or fruit when DD is in bed to help stop the snack monsters!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 05/07/2011 16:49

You're doing well Bebe....
I'm doing fine today, but ran out of enthusiasm for my lunch, was going to eat the pear but it was all woolly if you know what I mean?!

Off to the gym now for some running and stuff, I feel I need a trainer as in the BL, to make me try harder though Blush

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/07/2011 17:59

well done ladies - im so far behind in reading as been away - had a wonderful long weekend in tenerife and really enjoyed it and soooooo needed it

will weigh friday but ate too many maccy d's/chinese etc

GettinTrimmer · 06/07/2011 16:04

Glad you had good time in Tenerife Blondes Smile

Well, I am focused and hoping for some kind of loss on Friday. I've had beans on toast for breakfast, lunch was a low fat curry with brown rice, banana for a snack and tea will be smoked fish with a big salad, no carbs. And more fruit/carrot sticks later.

We've still not started packing, dh says he will get the whole lot done when he's off work from Monday to Wednesday Hmm

Mad weather today down here, pouring with rain this morning, we got soaked on the school run but now it's hot & sunny.

Keep going everyone.

bebejones · 06/07/2011 16:25

Eeeeuurrggh! Had a cup of coffee about an hour ago...mad burst of energy...now feel lightheaded, jittery & sick! Why will I not learn?! I love a nice cup of coffee on odd occasions, but only the strong stuff, and I think I am sensitive to the caffiene. Confused Feel rubbish! Damn!!

Been good apart from the cake I had at toddler/playgroup sports day. BUT it was a carrot muffin with sultanas & made with wholemeal flour. So figured it was about as healthy as a cake can actually get! And deserved it for racing around after DD (and other small people Wink) for 2 hours!!

B - 1/2 grapefruit & lf yog
L - Ryvita etc 5 pringles & a satsuma...oh and a tsp of crunchy pb nom nom! Blush
D - Tomato soup & prob strawberries or maybe sf jelly if it's set! :)

RatherBeOnThePiste · 06/07/2011 16:42

Hopefully your caffine fix will wear off soo Bebe!

I had sports day which in reality meant I was outside all day and we had a glorious day after the shit forecast on the BBC this morning. So yaaaaaayyyy. But boooooo, I forgot to take any lunch and no opportunity to get anything so now I'm starving and the danger is I will just stuff my chops... so I'm standing firm. But I am desperate for a cuppa, and the kettle has just boiled.......

RatherBeOnThePea · 06/07/2011 20:42

I have a temporary new MN nickname in homage to Biggest Loser, just ignore me....

But I love my new name !!

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/07/2011 22:06

pmsl piste pea

RatherBeOnThePea · 06/07/2011 23:29

I think I might like to actually be on the pea I shall keep my new name possibly until the end of the Pea, possibly only for a few days. I shall see how the mood takes me Grin

GettinTrimmer · 07/07/2011 09:20

Love the new name pea

I was channel flicking on Tuesday and i've recorded the BL - will watch again also to keep me inspired

Bebe I have a friend who can't touch chocolate or red wine - if she does she gets vertigo. Do you like capuccinos? They are normally a bit weaker.

RatherBeOnThePea · 08/07/2011 06:54

My happy thought is that it is Friday today and for me its out with the old and in with the new! My DC also break up for the summer today and looking out of the window it looks more like October. Sad times Weatherwise.

And I stayed the same at 10.8 which I'm very happy with because it's been a funny old week on the food front. Hmm

Good luck on weighing in x

GettinTrimmer · 08/07/2011 07:12

We have another couple of weeks to go until end of term, can't wait.

anyway, I have lost 3lb!!!!!

I've found some focus now, just cutting out fat and sugar as much as possible as I am completely useless at following a 'diet.'

Will come back and update later.

Well done on sts Pea/Pisty
