Ooh its lovely to see this thread going againSmile

Loved the video Furball

Tortoise it's amazing how much difference there is in your 2 days foodwiseSmile. Sometimes I think we just don't realise how much food we are consuming until we write it down.

You both have inspired me, I am going to the gym tonightSmile

brekkie - all bran and banana

lunch - coronation chicken sandwich and yoghurt

tea - roast turkey and a slice of home made ginger cake

Tortoise · 09/11/2011 23:25

Arrrggghhhh had a snack attack. 4 one finger time outs and just now ate 2 pks of crisps.
And I haven't had time to go on bike. Been packaging ebay items which has taken hours.

OP posts:
Furball · 10/11/2011 06:41

I've bought two massive watermelons

and I've chopped one up and chucked in the fridge - this is going to be my snack attack. and I did sneak into the kitchen last night for a munch.

Could you do similar tortoise. then you would know why you are going to the cupboard and steer away from the biscuits/crisps. Or get quavers, less damaging to the diet than others?

I do know that one bag of crisps is never enough.

Tortoise · 10/11/2011 06:58

It's worth a try furball. If we only had Quavers in the house I wouldn't eat any crisps! Shame not all dc like them!
Must try harder!

OP posts:
Furball · 11/11/2011 06:05

I did we all go yesterday?

me all bran and banana

lunch coronation chicken sandwich

tea chips (wedges with fry light in the oven) egg and beans.

and.......ginger cake......

and I'm off out for a run this morning

Furball · 11/11/2011 08:44

me run was cut short cos me ipod ran of of juice half way through. I sort of made up the rest then walked fast home.

It is a bit of a cop out but nothing I could do, didn't even have a watch so couldn't time meself either. [excuse] [excuse] [excuse]

Tortoise · 11/11/2011 19:54

Been busy today but snacked rather than ate properly.

Hello ladies, sorry can't seem to focus on anything at the moment, just waiting to exchange contracts on the sale/purchase of the house (fingers crossed).

Since starting my new job in September, my eating has become erratic to say the least, most of the time my first meal of the day is after 1:45 pm when I get home from work, I know that that's not good for me and is not helping me to lose weight, I know that I just need to organise myself better/get out of bed earlier etc. I know what I need to do but just don't seem to be doing it right now.

Anyway I just wanted to let you know that I am still with you, but am not very focused at the moment, so forgive me if I don't post.

Furball · 13/11/2011 20:37

oh dear small

tortoise and I who are struggling too.

I don't know what to suggest either

Tortoise · 13/11/2011 22:47

We make a right trio don't we lol!
Starting afresh (again) tomorrow! Not looking good as coming up to time of the month again but i do want to try. If i can at least make time to use the exercise bike that would be good.

OP posts:
Smalline · 14/11/2011 14:25

Right, how are we doing ladies?

Have started today off really well, just need to continue for the rest of the day, then the rest of the weekSmile.

Porridge with raisins for breakfast
Soup & yogurt for lunch
Roast for dinner,
fruit & almonds for snacks

I'm going to try and not have alcohol until Friday evening

Made some brownies yesterday and they are calling out to me, but I'm going to save that until after I've been to the gym this evening.

Furball · 14/11/2011 16:08

right well I'd blown it by 11.30!

had a whole pack of cheesy crackers Shock

couldn't face lunch.........

not that fussed about tea either........[surprise surprise]

I hope to pull it back together for tomorrow

well done small - your day looks good.

Tortoise · 14/11/2011 21:50

I was doing ok until school pick up when I had a choc bar from shop.
Then grabbed chips from Chinese for tea as had to drop DDs off at monday club and I was really hungry.
Then ate a twirl.
Then about half hr ago I ate a boost.
Have time of month headache now which means its on its way lol.
Was planning on jumping on exercise bike while watching I'm a celebrity.

OP posts:
Furball · 21/11/2011 17:13

Yoohooo! - Anyone home?

I jumped on the scales yesterday and jumped straight back off again 13st 6. Shock

Enough, is enough.

I am on the low carb band wagon. had an oz of shreddies this morning with a splash of milk, homemade brocolli and cauliflower soup for lunch, snack = chunk of leftover roast pork. and sausage hotpot for tea with veg and no potatoes.

meal plan, meal plan, meal plan.

tomorrow = either roast turkey, or bacon, egg and tomato and what we don't have tomorrow will have the other the next day.

lunch = soups, soups and more soups.

Smalline · 21/11/2011 18:08

I need to join you Furball, haven't weighed myself this week, am too scared toSad

I am very sad and stressed at the moment, I think our buyer has pulled out of the sale of the house, but hasn't told usSad, everyone is ready to exchange except for him, the solicitors have been asking him for his signed contract and deposit for days now and nothing, it's the not knowing that is getting to me, I am trying to carry on as if everything is ok for the childrens sake but inside I am so disappointed because I really loved the house we were buyingSad.

Furball · 21/11/2011 18:54

oh no smalline - fingers crossed for you, moving house is bad enough without any extra hassle from the dreaded chain. Hope your buyer stops playing silly buggers soon Smile

Tortoise · 21/11/2011 19:42

Slacking here too! Was going to weigh myself this morning but the scales have vanished!
I need to combine watching I'm a celebrity with cycling on exercise bike!
Food is still my biggest problem!
