Another 5.5km run/walk done , more running again than walking but not sure I could go straight through pure running just yet Grin and apparently you burn more fat interval training... That's my story and I am sticking to it GrinGrinGrinGrin

Got a horrible cold and cough Sad couldn't face spinning so did 35 minutes on the stepper, got a really good sweat up so hopefully it will help my cold! Tho feeling pretty rubbish now ConfusedHmm

OK. Have put on about the 10lb that I lost after DD was born. Am not feeling good about this. Exercise is hard at the moment (no time really to get out of the house without the DC unless it is work, and I don't get enough time to work anyway, so can't eat into this). I have been quite bad at eating rubbish food (picking at the kids dinner and then eating again with DH later, buying lunch including chocolate or cake to go with it, buying chocolate or cake anyway just to eat).
So, short term plan:
Stop buying chocolate during the day. Stop eating the kids dinner.
Medium term plan:
Buy a new set of scales as the ones that I have vary by half a stone depending on where I stand.
Think about buying an exercise bike. I like cycling, but have never really enjoyed exercise bikes, but well, if I can do it at home after the kids are asleep before DH gets home it might be a good thing.
Target: 10lb weight loss by December 13th (when we head to England).
When do you all weigh in?

We weigh in on a friday Smile try and do 4x 30mins exercise a day where you really get your heart rate going Grin

10lbs is quite realistic in your time frame and good start banning the chocolate and cake Grin

Been in London yesterday & today. Good with food but got ambushed by beer last night Blush. Will walk to school tomorrow and then maybe a run, but i have loads of work to do

Circuits on Friday is all booked and WILL be attended!

Sazz you are working v v hard whilst I have been sitting on my backside making cakes/bread and other highly fattening things Grin

Aiming for a quick session at the gym.. Cold/cough still pretty bad so will be taking it easy! Not ideal as weigh in tomorrow and less than 2 weeks til Vegas eek

45 mins at gym 20 on stepper 10 cross trainer and 15 on bike. According to trainer yesterday it's better to mix it up than do one v long stint on a machine ConfusedHmm also 45 mins is the most cardio one should do as then it becomes counter productive ConfusedConfusedConfusedHmmGrin

Excellent news re the bike lwfh, but do make sure it is a good make and stable etc. Also you could consider a cross trainer type thing - mine turned into a bike with 2 easy handle changes, so i got two types of exercise.

LOTI -v interesting on the interval training - i have been trying to mix it up a bit, and the circuits definitely does that.

Not sure on loss - am 10.12 now, so i think 3lb off. I have done nothing different (worse if anything Hmm) but at least it almost counters my last 2 weeks gains of 3.75 Confused. I almost didn't get on the scales as i was dreading it so much, but pleased i did Smile

Walked 6 miles yesterday (so did do 3 exersazz last week) and circuits this morning.
