Not good to confess so much badness at the start of a new thread so I'll save that for next week Blush

Been camping - just putting up the tent in yesterday's heat then making the 10000000000 trips to the loo/shower/park/cafe burnt loads of calories whilst DH read the paper and ate pies! This morning the dismantling was just as much hard work - I needed 2 showers afterwards Blush

PT sessions booked for tomorrow and Thursday. Food okay loads of bbq and salad.

luckoftheirish · 27/06/2011 20:15

Well done LOTI - sat at desk all day and was trying to limit food intake to compensate but ended up having 2 lunches due to a client cock up with a meeting . I am dooooooooomed. I tell ya.

Oh yes, and i am off to the pub tonight for a playground planning meeting Biscuit

FjorgynAndHotWater · 28/06/2011 21:51

Brilliant again loti, where do you find the time???????

Oops re two lunches crisp, hope tomorrow is better for you.

Done 11 miles tonight, 164/220 with two days to go, so no chance Grin but at least I have cycled all those miles which I wouln't have done without the challenge. On the train to work tomoz so will get some early morning walking / legging it to the station in before work.

I may be dead tomorrow - please resuscitate me if I am. Feck that was hard - hill program on treadmill, walk/run intervals, rowing interval training for 10 mins then the final nail in the coffin was mat work and apparently I wasn't looking like I was working hard enough so he made it worse. I though my head would explode when Icrawled got back to the car! swiftly followed by an evening out with DH but steak and salad followed by 2 bites of DH's brownie.

luckoftheirish · 29/06/2011 07:11

well done ladies Smile..

Fjorny dd2 is at pre school three morning a week and at the cm one morning so i try and fit it all in then

AlsoAvailableSober · 29/06/2011 08:55

Well done Mal - your exercise and food sounds fab Smile

28 miles a day Fjorn? - Not impossible????

Sadly my tea was a bowl of oven chips, followed by crisps washed down with a glass of wine at the pub

However, amongst the doom and despair, i have my gym kit on and will either do circuits or go on the treadmill this morning. Work is so manic that i can't see my next opportunity to exercise but i know i need to make it happen soon or i will be seriously unhappy about the weight (still retaining the +5 of las week) Sad.

Loti - glad you have now got the free time to exercise - you were THE master of fitting it in around looking after the children before DD2 was at preschool. I need to take a leaf out of your book.....

luckoftheirish · 29/06/2011 11:49

Sending you positive vibes AAS Smile

When I had no childcare I relied either on the bike or DVDs. Best time I found to do them was after dds lunches when they had a little slump Smile

45 mins spinning class and 20km on my machine Smile

Hoping to do body balance tonight!

AlsoAvailableSober · 29/06/2011 12:44

Thanks LOTI - Did Circuits with a different instructor which was good and then had dd2's lesson and dd1 joined us afterwards . I also saw the girl i did the triathlon with and we have decided to do a rerun on Monday. . I am seriously unfit so not sure what i was thinking of agreeing to it, but hey ho, will force me which is great

Well done on your exercise Loti, glad your machine was free Wink

luckoftheirish · 29/06/2011 21:02

Body balance done Smile

luckoftheirish · 30/06/2011 12:01

Did another spinning class my bike was on a really hard setting and such tough work! Found out after the class that it wasn't working properly Blush so extra good girl points for me not that the scales say so though Hmm

AlsoAvailableSober · 30/06/2011 14:32

Well done on continued exercise LOTI - do you really have much to lose now? I am sure you are looking toned and hot Smile

I managed a 5k run (2.5k in 12 mins) and 10k bike (15 mins) trying to prepare for the triathlon rerun on Monday. I have lost my goggles though so need to try and order another pair before then.

Tennis tonight and prayers for not having retained all of the +5 from the last couple of weeks

luckoftheirish · 30/06/2011 14:48

Hurrah for getting back into the groove AAS Smile I hope and fingers crossed you have a decent loss tomorrow Smile

Not much left to go but trying to maintain the current loss and keeping it off is proving difficult! My scales are going up and down like a yo yo Hmm

Malvapoeding · 30/06/2011 20:46

Can i rant please? DH was supposed to be home tonight at about 6 after collecting his car from the garage because I had a pt session. 6.30 came and went and I rang - someone else answered the phone and I was told DH had gone to test drive a rare car they had in the showroom for the week - no intention of buying the thing but just out for a play. He had promised DD1 he would take her out to the park and for a coffee, so she sat here asking for him and went to bed very very sad that he didn't come home on time. I mentioned that I wasn't cross about him out playing and not letting me know but I am furious that he 'forgot' DD1 and their plans. He is now sulking and being a small brat! on another note he had expected me to have everything packed and ready to load into the car when he got home Hmm Shock and has had sense of humour failure that it isn't all done! I have missed my session with the pt Sad and I am too busy to pop to the gym, I might have to abandon him in the morning and get a session in before we leave.

AlsoAvailableSober · 30/06/2011 21:49

Rant away Mal. DH has been on the end of some very strong words here - I cannot do all the work i am doing and the majority of the childcare and the housework, washing & shopping. I think i have made him see my point of view for now

If i were you i should leave him with the DD's to pack the car and then he can take them to the park for a run and a coffee before you set off. Just about the right length of time for a gym visit i would wager Wink

I have been to tennis tonight for 1.5hrs. Not masses of exercise but some fresh air and flexing of muscles so all in the right direction.

AlsoAvailableSober · 01/07/2011 07:36

-2, but still 10.9. Hopefully I can get back to 10 1/2 by next week. BBQ with friends this evening, should then be back on the straight & narrow

Mal - are you feeling a loosening of clothes? Do you have a size target (rather than weight IYSWIM?)

Fjorn - where are you? I hope I haven't passed on the apathy baton Sad

Bibi - are you still plugging on with LL and Curves?

Loti - hope af has found you again

FjorgynAndHotWater · 01/07/2011 09:11

mal your DH is an arse sometimes Angry hope he is making up for it this morning and you get some gym time before your holidays.

aas is DH letting you do the housework for its calorie burning potential??? Wink Hope he has seen sense too.

loti hope your exercise has paid off on the scales.

No biking for me yesterday or the day before Blush but I have dragged my sorry ass into the pool again this morning and swum (swam?) 1km Smile Am getting very close to actually starting running Shock it's just the thought of getting proper trainers that's putting me off Blush

Anyway, am evens again so 4.75lb off my end of June target in fact have only lost 0.75lb this month Shock at least am not up...

Malvapoeding · 01/07/2011 09:24

AAS yes I am feeling it and I walked past a shop window this morning and wasn't horrified! Blush I am currently wearing 16 jeans from Fat Face so a 14 will be fab by the end of July when we are off to a friend's very posh and glam wedding. We have loads of hill walking planned this weekend and I brought my boxing pads and gloves with too Grin I will not slack!

AlsoAvailableSober · 01/07/2011 09:28

Do it with the running Fjorn, it is THE best for calorie burning and overall weightloss on stubborn areas. Why the worry over 'proper' trainers?

I got my last ones from the Nike outlet store. I have to say they are absolutely brilliant - far better than my old ones and IIRC were about £30. I would definitely recommend going here as a first port of call. Mine are Air Citius +2 and are fab. I would also recommend trying a pair of their proper running socks too - very comfortable and i have never had rubbed feet wearing them

luckoftheirish · 01/07/2011 12:51

i am +0.5lb again sigh..

Well done all on losses Smile

Mal Angry on your behalf..hope you made it to the gym this am..

30 mins spinning class and 30km on machineSmile and af still missing Hmm

Malvapoeding · 02/07/2011 07:27

Yesterday was totally wreck food wise but the lovely farmer's wife delivering a fresh warm lemon drizzle cake 10 minutes after we arrived and thick fresh cream and full cream milk from their cows for the girls. Blush Grin Blush

We are doing a section of the Solway coastal walk today Smile

Malvapoeding · 02/07/2011 07:27

By not but!!!

AlsoAvailableSober · 02/07/2011 08:12

Yes, well the less said about food and drink consumption last night, the better Blush

Mal - you will not be diverted off course by a mere slither of cake - the walk today will wipe out its mere existence.......

loti 0.5 of pure muscle i'm sure. Are you sure you are not pg?
