Congratulations again Piste.

I hadn't updated the list with your weight loss 'cos I though you would want the pleasure of doing so!

I did Atkins a few years ago when dh was in Oz for 3 weeks on a Master of Wine seminar, followed by a week touring the wine districts (what a nice wife I am - I never did get the girlie weekend away that I was due for that! Wink) and I lost over a stone :)

However, we went skiing a couple of weeks later....... Blush

GettinTrimmer · 13/05/2011 20:18

I once saw a programme about a skiing holiday, each cabin had its own resident chef!

I have just sent an email off to see if I can join a bootcamp, got to be something drastic to kickstart me back into exercise. It takes place in our local park also, no need to drive anywhere.

My turn to wi tomorrow

Well done Trimmer! :)

Boot camp sounds scary!!!!

Off to opticians this morning, keep your fingers crossed for me!

GettinTrimmer · 14/05/2011 09:24

Bebe I am off to opticians too my glasses are loose and keep falling off.

I need something scary, and also to commit to exercise. And a new experience, I am in a rut with exercise.

Pisty, how far are you running now?

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/05/2011 13:52

and both my slinkies are slinkies :)

bebejones · 14/05/2011 15:46

Waves & hugs back at Blondes! :)

Been and spent an hour in with the Optician. They did a retinal photograph which shows that it isn't MS affecting my eye. Phew!! BUT he said that lack of sleep &/or stress has triggered my squint to resurface. Bugger! So, new glasses with corrective prisms in to help my eye fix itself! Woohoo! Still got to wait a week for them though...booo!

Been bad & had McDs for lunch as was starving & DD was getting fractious having been waiting for me for almost 2 hours! Clean slate Monday!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/05/2011 15:47

bebe glad eyesight isnt ruined by ms :)

Smalline · 14/05/2011 16:10

Wow Piste 5lbs, must be a record loss on this thread dont ya think?Grin

Well done Trimmer and Pretty on your losses

Good news about your eyes bebe

Lovely to see you Blondes

good luck with your lowcarbing Smokin

I sts this week, hoping to do a lot better next week would love to lose at least 2lbs next week to get under 12 stone

RatherBeOnThePiste · 14/05/2011 16:38

Hey Smalline! As much as I'd like to accept the accolade at being the Biggest Loser, I strongly suspect others have done more in the past?

I'm still not sure it's real, but I changed the batteries in my scales and they said the same thing, so maybe it is!

Good news Bebe - and I'm not talking about the McDonalds Grin

OP posts:
smokinaces · 15/05/2011 12:43

well the combination of a lot of alcohol, stolen phone, lack of ability to get hold of ahem "buddy" and everything else meant a bad dirt burger at 2am.

but, am going to be good today. hangover is currently sponsored by tea and 2 bananas.

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/05/2011 12:45

im so sorry about your phone - bastards!!!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 15/05/2011 16:42

Yes phone nicking bastards. Sorry for you Smokin.

I am sending Pisty Evils to the bastard.

Angry Angry Angry Angry
Angry Angry Angry Angry

I hope that teaches them a lesson Smokin.

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 15/05/2011 18:25

do you still have my number or do i need to send it to you via fb?

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/05/2011 18:26

least with iphones you can back up numbers/pic etc

RatherBeOnThePiste · 15/05/2011 18:51

That is true, the sync is fab, everything is always in two places. Other phones must do that too though?

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 15/05/2011 19:13

i could with my old nokia as was on o2 and had bluebook

smokinaces · 15/05/2011 20:17

I could do it. Just never chose to. Der.

Have all but the last 3 weeks worth of photos backed up - so only a few missing which are replaceable.

I have a handset off one of my family, so once the new SIM arrives I will request all the numbers again

watching Willy Wonka, classic but not sure if I will resist the chocolate!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/05/2011 20:51

lick the screen Grin

RatherBeOnThePiste · 15/05/2011 23:55

I'm not sure, but i dont think that would be too satisfying Hmm Grin On the other hand, if I could have any chocolate now, I'd probs go for a flake, or twirl or just a big bollocking bar of dairy milk. Blush

I think I'm having a low carb attack. My arms are Really burning and I'm all juddery. I hope to sleep this off. But if I can lose five pounds in a week doing this, it has to be a good thing, right?

OP posts:
GettinTrimmer · 16/05/2011 10:12

I was talking to someone over on Style & Beauty who lost 1.5 stones through low carbing Pisty. How will you go about reintroducing them?

Sorry to hear about your phone Smokin

Smalline well done on sts

Bebe glad it was good news at opticians, hope the squint corrects again

I have had the most indulgent weekend Blush Eat As Much As You Like Indian buffet, too much snacking

foodfocusing today and sticking to 1200 calories, EVERY day till next wi.

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/05/2011 11:47

i really dont understand the choc thing

now crisps

'dribbles'

good luck trimmer with calories

RatherBeOnThePiste · 16/05/2011 14:01

Just having lunch, thought I'd have a bit of dust or something else non carby.

If I had to choose between crisps and choc, I'd go for crisps, but I do like chocolate sometimes, certainly not mad for it like some people are. Some people are almost addicted to the stuff..

Pisty's Favourite Crisps

  1. Pringles Paprika - remind me of holidays
  2. Monster Munch Pickled Onion, but not when you have a mouth ulcer
  3. Cheesy Wotsits - essentially just a bit of orange puff, but I do like them so.
  4. Cheese and Onion, smelly I know, but a classic
  5. Twiglets, technicallY i know not a crisp, but my fave! We have a Winner

Good luck Trim - Good luck too kicking your own arse!

OP posts:
GettinTrimmer · 16/05/2011 14:21

I'm with you on twiglets, I am a big marmite on toast fan too.

dd is crisp mad I have to restrain her from having more than 1 bag a day.
