Littlefish Thanks, (takes deep breath and then blows out slowly). I have 8 weekly pp left and 7 activity pp.

Yeh I have home made broc and cabbage soup which is 2pp as I put potato's and cream cheese in. Don't have ww bread thou I do have ww pitta bread. so that'd be 5pp. or I could make some more as plenty of veg so thats it's 0pp and then just 3pp for the pitta.

I'm also making roast chicken for tea, it's says I can have 100g for 4 pp s long as no skin and I dont like that anyway.

LittleFriendSusan · 06/04/2011 13:19

Gah, right will try again...

Piffle Italian chicken looks tasty, I think I will try that one soon!

NWNH no Ocado delivery here either unfortunately! I'd believe that re supermarket prices - though don't find Asda as cheap as people say, guess it depends what you buy. I'm a bit of a supermarket tart - I shop all over the place, but find Morrisons generally cheaper. Do like Sainsburys though - ours has just expanded, I popped in for a few bits on Saturday and came out £40-odd quid lighter...

Which pub are you going to or is it not a chain? I think I would veer towards the starters as they sound yummy and burgers always seem ridiculously high in PP... With you on the salad too.

benbon congrats on 3lb loss!

Blondes completely agree with you on clothes sizing, there's no rhyme nor reason to it. My old work trousers are a 14 and just fall off me, but my Topshop jeans that I have only just got back into are a 14. Ultimate aim is to be a comfortable 12, but not dared try any 12s yet...

wizzler well done on 1lb loss.

littlefish - wow, fantastic loss and well done on losing 3st+!

Eralc welcome, and don't worry, it does get easier. I do the monthly pass thing too and use the online tracker. Also find the recipe builder invaluable as can just make my usual meals / treats or whatever and point it up easily. I've bought a cookbook and the Eating out guiide but could manage easily enough without TBH. I don't really buy the WW branded foods, etc. either, just the occasional pack of WW bars / fruities. You don't have to spend lots (though some people do buy the lot!)

Re BF - if you make sure you eat the extra points you get & eat healthily with plenty of fluids and your supply will be fine.

Willaby good luck for today's WI.

Wynken gastric band thing sounds interesting... let us know how you find it!

Well... finally got round to putting my food on online tracker for yesterday and I was Shock to see I managed 17PP on my incessant snacking and a large glass of vino. Daily total 45PP. Eek. I did day 2 of C25K (which might go some way towards making up for it) and was pleasantly surprised to find it easier than the first time. Aching today though!

Made a yummy carbonara yesterday which was a SW recipe my friend gave me, using quark. Supposed to use lean ham but only had pancetta and added parmesan, but worked out at 14PP for quite a large portion, think it would be somewhere around 10-11P if it was done as per recipe?

Any suggestions for a tasty WW friendly pud for girly gathering on Sat? Main is spicy veggie type thing so something to complement that? Thought about sorbet / semifreddo type thing but my freezer is playing up so don't want to risk it.

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/04/2011 13:44

noway at least 20ish for a burger, tbh i would have 2 small starters

clb oh dear but it doesnt have to be the end of todays/weeks diet - make a huge vat of o pp soup or eat a huge slad with a chopped boiled egg in it for 2pp and protein

but yuk at brocolli and cabage soup - bet that gets your farting!!!!

lfsusan im not really a pudding person, but maybe merriangue and fresh fruit and those can add cream if they want?

LittleFriendSusan · 06/04/2011 13:52

Thanks blondes - I was thinking maybe something like that, pavlova with fruit & WW cream (if I can find any!)... save the PP for wine Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/04/2011 14:05

no point (get it) wasting pp on food when theres wine :)

forgot to say, i was very good at soft play

had a ham and salad roll :)

'can you see my halo gleaming'

tell you what, if again i dont lose this week, the world will not be a good place!!!!

OP posts:
LittleFriendSusan · 06/04/2011 14:34

Blondes you must have the shiniest halo around after all the polishing you've been doing these last few days!

(I think we will all be in hiding on your WI day until we know the outcome!!!)

I've had leftover carbonara, fat free fromage frais, couple of satsumas and I still feel like I need something more... must resist until I go home in half an hour. Busy bee then until half sixish so won't have time to snack! Don't know what's wrong with me this week, I'm not usually one for snacking! Can't even blame TOTM as that was last week...

CLB1 · 06/04/2011 14:39

LFSusan WW cream at asda, I've got some there the last couple of weeks.

Thanks Blondes the soup is loverly, but yeh most people turn their noses up :)

LittleFriendSusan · 06/04/2011 14:46

CLB1 thanks - unfortunately not in my local Asda though (big store too!) Or our Tesco or Sainsburys. Only place I've found it is Morrisons, but they've been sold out the last few times I've been. I will keep looking and asking though as it was very nice the one time I did manage to find some!

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/04/2011 16:06

i deserve to lose a lb on friday :)

so will keep shinning my halo, was hard when smelt bacon frying

'drools'

wynken good report from about Moyles Court they are very pleased

wizzler · 06/04/2011 17:52

CLB1.. hope things are looking better now. Do not let a bad start to the day push you off track. Get back onto the straight and narrow and you will immediately feel a lot better about yourself. Go for a walk, or do something to take your mind off your gluttony!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/04/2011 17:53

halo has slipped slightly

i aquired a pork and apple sausage for tea

OP posts:
Piffle · 06/04/2011 17:55

It's agony
Still did 1.5 hrs slow walking this morning and 25 mins this afternoon
But only got 5pp left and just snaffled kids pork schnitzel prob about a million pp :(
So egg and salad for me!
Not going to lose this week I think :(

vnmum · 06/04/2011 18:09

read this thread in fits and starts so haven't got many namechecks i'm afraid. well done littlefish, thats a good loss. Blondes I didn't realise you were so close to goal. I feel photos coming soon Smile
welcome Eraic

Does anyone use a WW pedometer for all their daily exercise and is it any good? I have started walking a couple of miles for the nursery run and do my C25K 3 times a week so was wondering if it would be better to get a pedometer to work out exercise points rather than using the website?

good luck to anyone weighing in tonight

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/04/2011 18:11

until im in those trousers, no photo from me Grin

gaol is what i was before 11stone , when i lost 4 stone, and brought myself these trousers that i love

wizzler · 06/04/2011 18:40

Littlefriend, how about Summer Pudding ? Or the lemon meringue roulade in this weeks mag looks lovely, ( personally I would make a right dogs dinner of rolling meringue into a roulade, but if you have that sort of touch it looks like a lovely desert)

Welcome Eraic

I have had yum seafood paella which I dont think is too bad for PPs.. was very good and didn't have seconds.

Willabywallaby · 06/04/2011 20:14

Put on 1lb, but deserved it really. Back on track today!

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/04/2011 20:32

IHeartIona · 06/04/2011 20:55

Piffle thanks for the meal ideas. will check into those sausages. need a new freezer before I can stock up on bogof offers unfortunately!
NoWay - glad to hear it is not just me who has the Protein Pain on the Purse (is that a trademarked expression? Smile)!!
I found pork chops half price tday, 2.15 for 3, so will stock up on them. There's a good pork ww recipe I've done though can't remember it now, plus I also use some spice rubs to liven up plain stuff. at least pork is easy to trim of fat at home.
well done on losing 1/4 lb! are you weighing at home now?
benbon, wizzler, littlefish well done on your losses
littlefish is your concert one we can all attend to cheer you on? Smile

So I have lost 22lbs so far but still feeling quite flabby as I don't really do any exercise. Someone tell me the benefits of exercising and how it will help me please! [dim emoticon]

Littlefish · 06/04/2011 21:14

IHeart - my concert is open to the public! If you are near Worcstershire/West Midlands, PM me and I'll give you the details. Smile

ShouldersBackAndNoBiscuits · 06/04/2011 21:26

Hi all, in holiday and no convenient meeting so no formal weigh in for me today. Decided to weigh in at boots on their fancy schmancy scales - think they must be calibrated differently to ww ones as worked out as a 6.5lb loss - no difference in clothes or anything! I am assuming scales error as that would seem rather a lot for 1 week, so will take with a pinch of salt for now and hope for a similar weight next Wednesday!

Sorry for no name checks, on phone. Will catch up properly when we get home!

ShouldersBackAndNoBiscuits · 06/04/2011 21:29

Too many exclamation marks again. Must proof read. I sound manic, sorry.

IHeartIona · 06/04/2011 21:32

Littlefish - sadly I'm not near there. sounds very exciting, best of luck!

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/04/2011 21:48

shoulders impressive loss if boots scales are right :)
