Just been back to look and this is the fifth HotMama thread Shock Fingers crossed we all are where we want to be by the end of this one...

Sounds like you had a fab time though enya, and weekends don't count if you don't want them to Wink

ursula just come on here every day and we'll try and give you a bit of willpower back (just don't nick mine, I haven't got very much...)

crispy sounds like your room clearing (on main thread) was a workout in itself Smile

Did another 13 miles on my bike yesterday, had no wine Shock (but that was only cos am at work today) and a late breakfast / early tea combo meant I didn't have lunch either. There was apple pie at MIL's so not quite as good as it sounds, but am starting the week only +1, and have my period too, so hoping for a pound or two off by Friday...

Here's to a virtuous week. hots conveniently forgetting DDs birthday cake Blush

well done on your biking hots Grin.. need to get myself back into the groove again... did sneakly look on the scales this am and wished i hadn't put on almost 3lbs.. bearing in mind it takes weeks for me to lose even a pound.. 5 weeks til xmas doesn't feel like long enough away Hmm..

only saving grace is that my throat feels like razor blades atm so have only consumed coffee this morn.. it is only 9.30 tho HmmGrin

enyahadenough · 22/11/2010 15:29

ok so i did a fab burning dvd whilst i threw the girls in the bath.. legs wobbling, arms wobbling.. hope its done some good..

ok on food front so far as throat making it restrictive to what i can eat..

CrispyTheCrisp · 22/11/2010 17:50

40 lengths swum here and only one tiny mouthful of cake at playgroup as it looked amazing (cherry and almond sponge slice). was yum but a little taster was enough Smile

Working away tomorrow which puts the kybosh on my preschool walk and gym. I KNOW i have to shred again as my arms are all wobbly compared to how they were under Queen Jillian's regime Sad

How are you doing today Ursula? Great work from Hots and Enya

UrsulaUndress · 22/11/2010 18:55

Hello well I have very naughtily skipped breakfast AND lunch which is the cardinal sin I know, now am ravenous and scouring kitchen for food. Did NOT go to gym on way home from work as had to get home before cob to get 2 of my work-from-home things off my desk. So have done shag all, basically, apart from earn money, but it will be the last day this week I do that and quite possibly the last day this month Sad. I will either run or shred tomorrow but not both.

Nice work on avoiding spongecake crispy, and on your 40 lengths. Do you swim the TI method now when you are doing your lengths?

Well done on dvd enya, respeck for doing it while girls in bath. While ds2 is in the bath I sit on the loo seat and paint my toenails, you can see what's wrong with this picture I think! And respeck to the hotster for the biking, excellent work.

Oooh it's good to be back. I feel slimmer already Grin

FjorgynAndHotWater · 22/11/2010 21:33

Another 13 miles tonight, legs are a-popping now.

ursula you don't need any of us to you re forgoing brekker & lunch, hope you managed not to gorge yourself this evening, and try and do something tomorrow re exercise, even something little might get your vim back a bit. I can't believe how much cycling I've done recently, inc Saturday and Sunday but am finally DETERMINED to lose a few lb for Christmas...

enyahadenough · 23/11/2010 17:46

Respect fjor well done you!! Smile

been cleaning all day and completed my 20km on bike and sit ups. Officially shattered!!!

CrispyTheCrisp · 23/11/2010 20:21

2.5 miles walked. Was fab on food until i got home from my jaunt to devon and then ate a crust of bread and butter and a packet of quavers. Why????

Back to work.....

FjorgynAndHotWater · 23/11/2010 23:30

Have had teeny bit of cake and bit of icing during birthday cake prep but much less than I would usually have, and biked 12 miles so have already done my 4 ExerSazzes for the week Shock

This had better pay off on Friday...

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 24/11/2010 08:39

Gym shortly, although my back is hurting from sleeping in a funny position. I hope it and my knee hold out

Woo woo for your advance exercise Hots. A brilliant achievement Smile

FjorgynAndHotWater · 24/11/2010 10:51

Have had two croissants this morning for birthday girl brekker, oops. Got weighed today though and am so far 2 down on Friday Shock so that's a good incentive to keep away from a second helping of cake later hopefully

crispy sorry to hear re your back. Mine can be like that sometimes; hopefully just getting up and moving around has made it feel better.

ursula where are you? Come on lassie, we're here to hector bully help you if you want Smile

OP posts:
enyahadenough · 24/11/2010 13:46

well done fjor on the loss already Grin and 4 exersazzels already ShockGrin..

cleaning again today its never ending and have had people in and out of the house all day so not sure if i will get to do anything Sad.. not good since the scales haven't changed at all

CrispyTheCrisp · 24/11/2010 14:13

5k run (back & knee fine ), 10 mins powerplate and 50 situps.

Drunk 1.5litres of water and food ok. Just got to keep it up, just got to keep it up Grin

Enya - LordFord classes cleaning as exercise, so i reckon you're ok!

enyahadenough · 24/11/2010 16:49

Thanks crisp managed the DVD whilst dd2 destroying the bathroom and playing in the bath. Was v funny as trying to exercise at the door of the bathroom and dd2 asking why I was dancing Grin

glad back/knee ok crispy and well done on the water I haven't managed a drop today so off to have some right now Smile

FjorgynAndHotWater · 24/11/2010 21:44

Hurrah for all our exercise you guys, at this rate we will be even more gorgeous than we already are by Christmas Grin

Managed to only eat 1.5 slices of cake, and they weren't even that big. Salad for lunch, sausage and oven chips for tea and small bowl of ice cream for afters so not really too bad considering it was a birthday day. The real test will be Saturday's party food... Anyway walked to school and back twice today and biked 12 miles so feeling fairly even-stevens on in/out ration today.

OP posts:
UrsulaUndress · 25/11/2010 08:15

Fjuggjy I like your positive tone of gorgeousness! Good work on the exercise everyone. Running today meself, yeehah!

CrispyTheCrisp · 25/11/2010 11:30

Run, ursula, run!!!!

Walked 2.5 miles in the beautiful crisp sunshine this morning and i have glowing ruddy cheeks now. Aiming for another 2.5 miles later or shred.....

Must DRINK WATER

UrsulaUndress · 25/11/2010 12:08

I am glowing too Blush see?

Ran for 45 mins which was just over 6k. Is it better value to run at a slower speed for longer, than faster for shorter?

Must drink water too. Do you drink tap? Ours is not great but I was reading about horrible stuff leaching into bottled water from the plastic bottles. Glass bottles too expensive for moi.

CrispyTheCrisp · 25/11/2010 12:30

We got some free glass bottles from a restaurant and use those for tap water at home in the fridge. At the gym i do refill old evian bottles etc but fresh at the start of a sesh, so drunk within an hour. Just hope any leaching is sloooooow. Hmm

I think calorie wise it it the same, but health wise, better to have a steady heart and, IIRC, your increased calorie burn after exercise extends longer the longer you have exercised for IYSWIM? So i guess i am saying slower for longer (as long as you weren't just walking though Grin). Nice work on the running regardless though Smile

Off to shred NOW. The only thing to stop me will be a work call. Lets hope it holds off for 1/2hr

CrispyTheCrisp · 25/11/2010 13:09

Done SmileSmile

Tis very quick really isn't it. I really should do it more often HmmGrin

Level 1 with weights completed and 3/4 litre of water. Now i am warm and have a full tummy so don't want any lunch just yet. Double bubble bonus!!

CrispyTheCrisp · 25/11/2010 13:09

Oh yes, and in this cold weather you don't even sweat. I started doing it with my scarf and gloves on FFS

CrispyTheCrisp · 25/11/2010 13:10

scarf and fleece that should have read. I don't know about working, i think my brain has closed down Confused

enyahadenough · 25/11/2010 14:29

woo hoo crispy lol at scarf and gloves Smile..

done 30km on the bike.. did 20 to begin with cooled down and was fecking freezing so did another 10 to warm back up again HmmGrin..

praying it does something for tom.. my scales are stuck in the upwards not downwards direction!!

well done on the run urs Smile

FjorgynAndHotWater · 25/11/2010 20:29

Wow enya 30km Shock that's good riding! And ursula at the thought of running for 5 minutes never mind 45...

crispy yay for shredding again, hope you don't undo all your good work with your visitor this evening Wink

Feeling like utter crap here, full of snot and coughing so am giving it a miss on the bike tonight. Luckily clocked up 5x ExerSazz his week though and been really good with food so hoping to be down some tomorrow and that Wednesday's weigh-in wasn't a mirage Confused

Off to bake cake no 2 now, wish me strength not to eat too much raw mixture Blush

OP posts:
FjorgynAndHotWater · 26/11/2010 08:25

Woo hoo I'm down 2 Grin That makes -3 in the last two weeks, yay! Am actually down 0.75lb on the start of the thread, in only six weeks.

Good luck everyone Smile
