luckoftheirish · 24/12/2010 17:38

well done crispy!!

luckoftheirish · 26/12/2010 07:23

forgive lord focus for i have sinned and plan on sinning again today BlushGrin

luckoftheirish · 28/12/2010 14:43

hello lovely hot mamas Smile

hope you are all enjoying the festive period and indulging in what you fancy Smile.. its not so much the actual food that killing me, more the wine every day and the nibbles that go with it Blush

i have just done 21km on the bike but that was more of a half an hour just for mummy as apposed to anything else... now having a cuppa and biscuits tho to make up for it Grin

HoHoHotsAMerryChristmas · 30/12/2010 21:57

loti well done for managing some biking Xmas Shock Unfortunately the only exercise I have had is lifting a wine glass Xmas Blush

Am going to weigh tomorrow and cry but think I may keep the result a secret Xmas Blush

CrispyTheChristmasCracker · 03/01/2011 15:35

Eek.

And blimey, isn't this topic busy atm Grin

Well, i have eaten and drunk and barely moved. I feel wobbly and disgusting and tbh haven't enjoyed stuffing my face, just unable to stop Hmm

SO. It all restarts tomorrow. I normally give myself until after my birthday but enough is enough. DD1 at preschool and DD2 at CM and no work lined up, so i am going to the gym for a run/powerplate/sauna to kick start the regime.

Just hoping now that the snow (currently falling at an alarming rate will not scupper me). No weigh in until Friday or i might just cry Blush

Well done LOTI on the biking BTW

luckoftheirish · 03/01/2011 19:15

i'm here and have been horrific too Blush.. no childcare for me unfortunately but determined to bike it and sit ups tom too frightened to jump on the scales Blush

CrispyTheCrisp · 03/01/2011 19:58

Yes but LOTI you have been entertaining, nipping to D ublin & L ondon town whilst i have been languishing on the sofa BlushHmm

luckoftheirish · 03/01/2011 20:04

True but I bet u are not drinking wine and eating cheese right now Blush

CrispyTheCrisp · 03/01/2011 20:28

No, i am moving towards healthy eating by supping a beer Hmm

I have however just expended a small amount of energy sawing up the Xmas tree and throwing it on the fire Grin

CrispyTheCrisp · 04/01/2011 08:04

Ha, my body does not know what is about to hit it - have just had grapefruit for brekker, we will be walking to school in a bit, then off to the gym for a run, salad for lunch and thai chicken & mushroom soup for tea. The remainder of the bag of peanuts is in the bin and i am seriously thinking of sending the leftover cheese the same way if i can't keep away Hmm

I am booking all my sessions at the creche today for next term so will hopefully be firmly back into the routine

Unfortunately DH made a lovely loaf of bread which is still warm and the smell trying to tempt me in. I SHALL resist!

I am also going to see how i go on my own this week but may start to log in with the Lord if my focus goes astray

So Ladies, what are your plans?

luckoftheirish · 04/01/2011 09:02

Scales this am were not good Sad feeling very bloated and also think I am getting a lurgy Sad

going to try and bike it today to sweat it out if I can. No appetite which I guess is good. However like you crisp am binning all temptation and going to the shops to buy lots of fresh fruit and veg to munch on.

I am determined to reach target as I have been faffing about for a year now Hmm

good luck with the walk/gym!!

FjorgynAndHotWater · 04/01/2011 09:47

Back to my other name, hopefully it'll be as weight loss-y as it was before Christmas...

Am currently up 5 which is not surprising; with a bit of luck there is still some bread bloating in there as seem to have eaten all the bread I didn't scoff over the last two months in the last two weeks Blush No booze for two days apart from a yucky bedtime hot toddy. Most of the chocs left are ones I don't really like so should be able to resist them...

Good luck with your exercise today you two. Am still too poorly for any exertion (although did walk DD to school this morning) but am gonna take the tree down in a minute then go to the supermarket and stock up on salad.

I want a bacon butty Blush

CrispyTheCrisp · 04/01/2011 15:21

So far

Brekker: Grapefruit & 2 cups of tea
Exercise: Walked 2.5 miles, Run 7.5k, 10 mins powerplate (about 600 cals burnt i reckon)
Drunk 2 litres water
Lunch: 2 packets of quavers, 6 cherry tomatoes & 2 cups of tea Hmm. I had planned (and bought) a nice salad but was late when i got back and fancied quavers instead Grin

The run was ok, not breathless and my HR was very good, however, man did i wobble Blush. Christ, i really thought someone would come over and evict me from the treadmill. Runs and shreds a plenty from here on in. Have 1hr booked in the creche tomorrow so onwards and downwards (rapidly i am hoping)

luckoftheirish · 04/01/2011 16:41

Lol crisp at your wobbling Grin

Well done on an amesome start

32km on bike and 200 situps.. Still feeling rough but was determined to have a go...

Tea has been lots of brussel sprouts peas and little stuffing Blush thankfully dh is out tonight as I fear I maybe a bit windy later BlushGrin

FjorgynAndHotWater · 04/01/2011 18:53

Wow you two are putting me to shame, as today I have mainly been eating chocolate BlushBlushBlush

Back to work tomorrow though so hopefully there won't be any temptation there.

Hello I have been shockingly poor at reporting during festivities, have not had computer on much tbh. Have been pretty lousy over Christmas, lots of drink and nibbly shite but here we are and it's a new regime for me too.

Ran 45 mins yesterday and plan to do so every other day Shock dp has booked us both in to a half marathon in April Shock there are not enough shocks in the world for this. Is a distinct possibility I actually won't be able to complete it as the longest I have run to date is 10K and this is over 20k. But good to have something to focus on. I ice skated today but feel this doesn't count. Salmon and cauliflower (boak) for dins in a minute. Cauliflower replaces dp's lovely butterfried potatoes... drool...

CrispyTheCrisp · 04/01/2011 21:15

LOL at being windy in Brum Grin

Fjorn - today for me was my first 'work' day, so you are allowed to wait until you return. But no longer

1/2 marathon sounds mad amazing Ursula. I was actually contemplating something like that (or maybe a 10k Blush) when on the treadmill today. Then i remembered the pain, hard work and anguish my friend went through training for the marathon last year and decided I was my knees were far too feeble Grin

Deeeeeelicious thai chicken, mushroom & nooodle soup for dinner. Om nom Smile

CrispyTheCrisp · 05/01/2011 14:32

5k run, 10 mins powerplate (c.400 cals burnt). 15 mins sauna and swimming with the DD's for an hour plus wrestling clothes onto them and dragging them out of the play area Hmm

Small bowl of special K & milk, small bowl of pea & ham soup with 1/2 slice bread and beetroot/toms plus some grapes/satsuma and 2 litres water
SHepherds pie & veg for dinner

hots are you doing better for being at work?

LOTI - hope you are eating lots of garlic, fresh herbs and some nuts/seeds/pulses washed down with an oj?

luckoftheirish · 05/01/2011 15:09

Lol crisp Grin

well done on the super sonic exersazz and healthy foods!!

Managed 20km on bike but wheezed and huffed and puffed Hmm

drinking shed loads of tea which not sure if that is a good thing and 1.5 litres of water

weetabix for brekkie ryvita with low fat Philly for lunch and goodness knows what for tea as family eating spag bol and I don't

thinking an ice cold glass of wine would help my poorly throat/chest tonight but will try and resist!

FjorgynAndHotWater · 05/01/2011 22:12

I've had cereal, salad and oven baked fish and chips, plus one Roses choc and one small piece of banana cake, so massive improvement on yesterday. Still no exercise because am still poorly / coughing like an old man, but hoping to restart biking at the weekend.

crispy and loti you have really jumped back into the groove with gusto; am v proud of you both Grin

ursula come back and make us feel faint with more tales of your planned madness running Grin

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 05/01/2011 22:19

Well you see it is fine atm as i am not doing much work. As soon as that kicks in i will be doing much much less Sad. Why are there not enough hours in the day? Confused

Well done on a good food day Hots, especially when feeling crap. 2 days to weigh in

Grin
FjorgynAndHotWater · 05/01/2011 22:27

I am sitting here trying to summon up the energy to go to bed but have to go through the kitchen and there are chocolate mini rolls in there... . Hungry though Hmm should just have a cuppa instead.

Two days you say? More like 32 hours Shock Feck Eeek!

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 06/01/2011 11:33

I fear this weigh in is not going to be good tom. No exersazz today as feeling too rubbish but funnily enough not that ill that I cannot eat Hmm

and I don't want cold fighting goodness I want crap and rubbish to eat HmmBlush
