Day 5 of 4mg and experiencing insane suppression, which interestingly coincided with day 1 of my cycle. I went to work having had just a coffee and didn’t even feel particularly hungry by lunchtime! Only side effect so far is very slight constipation.

I have ordered 4mg and will start within next week it's good to hear others experience

My suppression on 1.5 was immediately strong but the suppression on 4 is so intense I’ve had to switch to one every other day. The second pill free day is still easy.

UncleColm · 26/09/2026 17:42

I ordered a second month of 1.5 - four weeks in and I'm 4kg down. Weight is coming off slowly so I'm hoping it stays off. Still having occasional treats but far less than before.

I have ordered wegovy pills today from med express and am hoping they are delivered asap! I am feeling nervous about potential side effects etc but also excited to start

I haven't bought any pills yet. Massively overweight and woken up with back pain that i think being overweight is aggravating. Any recommendations where to buy?

squidgem · 27/09/2026 18:19

I've finished my first week on 4mg and my loss this week is 3lb. I had an incredibly stressful week, which I think accounts for the weight loss more than the wegovy!

I'm actually a bit disappointed since moving up a dose. Whilst I can definitely feel the effects, I would say they are mild, I still feel quite hungry towards meal times. The suppression just isn't as strong as I'd expected..Anyone else experienced this? On the positives, I've also had no side effects!

I would also be interested to know how people are getting on with different suppliers. I started with MedExpress who were efficient, if a little no-frills. Tried to take advantage of new customer offer and switched to another supplier.

Order was shipped Monday, for me to collect from the post office. I went yesterday and discovered I’d been prescribed 0.25 injectable Wegovy not the 1.25 tablets I thought I’d ordered. Went back and forth with the supplier a lot, I pointed out that my order confirmation just said Wegovy and didn’t state what type, but they are denying responsibility and telling me to see how I get on with injecting. But I don’t want injections and it’s been sitting in the post office for 4 days so not even sure I should as it’s not been stored correctly.

Have now switched to Asda pharmacy and will collect tomorrow, and take the unused prescription back to them to be disposed of. So it’s been an expensive week.

Would really like to find a supplier that have a simple pricing structure that is clear before you sign up. I asked the second supplier to delete my account and details but they told me legally they have to keep my details on file for 8 years!

Ah sorry you’ve had a rough week, but great about no side effects when moving doses. 3lb is still 3lb! Keep at it, it’s all progress. Hope you have a less stressful week this week.

I’m 30 days in and lost 10lb. I’m happy with that, it feels steady and has been pretty consistent throughout. I’ve stuck to the starter dose for month 2, it’s working although I’m still getting some nausea and dizziness, plus going on holiday soon so don’t want to be worrying about side effects from an increased dose then. Will see what the next 30 brings and take it from there.

BlueTorch · 27/09/2026 19:55

I’ve only used Bolt, but everything has been very straightforward and the pricing is clear. Good communication and responsive when I’ve asked a question.

Haalan · 28/09/2026 10:40

I’m coming up to four weeks on the 1.5mg and have lost about 4/5 pounds. I’m fairly pleased with that. I’m going up to the 4mg this week and I am fairly worried about the potential side effects. Fingers crossed for a smooth transition.

well done to everyone on their losses!

TwilightAb · 28/09/2026 10:55

Has anyone noticed changes to their cycle / period on the tablet? I am quite early this month and experiencing a lot of back pain which I sometimes get with my period. I am also peri so it can be a little bit up and down anyway but just wanting to see if their is a correlation.

SweetLathyrus · 28/09/2026 18:00

Not weighed myself yet this week (that is Wednesday), but a pair of jeans I bought around about six months ago, which were snug/just about comfortable, are going to need a belt to stay up soon!

I'm still getting pretty strong suppression on the 1.5mg as I head to the end of the first month, especially on work days, when I'm busy.

I have noticed that this weekend and today (wfh day) I've been a bit low energy, and 'meh', but I wonder if it's because I've been drinking less water than I usually do at work. Or, I could just be tired from a hectic week! It can be hard to separate what is symptoms from what is just daily ups and downs.

I'm starting tomorrow so hope it's ok to join this thread. I've got around 5-6 stone to lose but to be honest I'd be happy with 3.5 stone. I just feel awful at thr moment so I'm pleased I'm doing something about it.

PenCreed · 28/09/2026 21:39

I've got one more pill left of 1.5mg and will then start the 4mg. My suppression has definitely tailed off and my weight has stayed the same since last week. Admittedly I had a weekend away with friends and probably drank all my calories despite eating slightly less than I might otherwise have done. I have at least 5kg more to go to reach my first target, and 15kg for my "stretch" target, but I do feel like some of the weight round my middle that was bothering me has shifted. Hopefully a month at 4mg will get me well on the way to where I want to be and I can decide whether to maintain or go up a dose from there.

For the people asking about supplier, I got mine from Voy. Seems straightforward, delivery was super speedy and the app is easy enough to use.

Yes, this period was much more painful at the start than usual. It was also 3 days late but that part is normal for me being in peri.

Highly recommend Chemist4U - 1.5mg and 4mg tablets are £99. 9mg is £119 and the 25mg is £199. Consultation takes about 5 mins and they’re super efficient in responding.

Hi all, I started yesterday. I had a terrible headache last night and some weird stomach ache but otherwise ok.. I can deal with these side effects as long as they wear off fairly quick! Anyone else have a bad headache? Felt similar to a tension headache .
appetite suppression kicked in almost instantly, still eating but less than usual . Trying hard to drink plenty

I started this morning and had quite a sore and bloated stomach today too. It's eased now. No other symptoms. No suppression yet but I know it may take a little time.

Oh - my period is always 28 days. But it was 22 days this month. I just assumed that it was my age (43) but I don’t have any other peri symptoms so maybe it’s something else?

I had a terrible headache for much of the first week. Since then I haven't had any, I'm nearly 6 weeks in now and up to 4mg. Hope it passes soon for you!

I've been having peri symptoms for the past 2/3 years ( also 43). This one is very painful and causing a lot of back pain which I have had before but have been doing pilates which I feel has strengthened my back. I'm just hoping it won't be like this now every month! Apart from that my side effects have been pretty none existent and I feel I have taken well to the pill.

My actual period has not officially reared its head yet but all of the other symptoms are there and much worse than normal. I have experienced similar in the past though so hoping its just one of those months!
