Mounjaro and constipation.

Has anyone found a solution to the constipation issue? It's getting worse each month, so much so that I actually look pregnant today!

I am drinking so much water that I genuinely can't increase that, I do at least 10,000 steps a day and do a lot of manual work. My diet is really good as I grow all my own veg and have good amounts of protein.

I really suffer with this. What works for me are dried prunes (the Whitworths ones are nice). 6 a day. Also raw fresh pineapple and kiwis.

The only thing that works for me is adding 1 - 2 tbs olive oil, which seems to effectively coat the bowel and ease transit within about 10 to 14 hours. Plus 3 senna tablets a day. Started gagging drinking the oil, so now trying capsules, but the oil has worked.

It’s been severe for me, none of my usual things work, everything backs up - plums, prunes, pineapple, beetroot, kiwi - just solid.

Prunes is a good call, and prune juice too. I also take fibre tablets - Psyilium husk. Movicol if things really won't move.

ITha s for the replies. I haven't tried Prunes so will give them a go! Would prefer to try natural first as laxatives give me cramps.

Cosmolco ! I duscovered it last month after having such a problem i was only going once a week and then it was agony. A friend told me about it.
Going every day with no problem. I used one a day for the first week, now once every two days.
Bliss!

5 tinned prunes in my yogurt at breakfast seems to work for me.

I take psyllium husk capsules, keep me regular.

Have name changed for this!

First thing in the morning on an empty stomach, cut up half a lemon and pour boiling water over, let it stew/cool a little and drink.
It helped me quite a few times.

But I had a few instances where I just could not go and the only way I could was a self enema 😖 I bought a bottle thing off amazon. Not the most dignified moment of my journey but it worked quickly.
