Morning everyone. Actually have a day off today so will be hugging the ac and joining the kids in the paddling pool. I think it is only going up to 33 today so not as bad as yesterday!

I'm going up to 5mg this morning (by taking the last two doses of my second 2.5 pen) after chickening out last month.

Anyone else feeling OK in the heat? I mean, it’s a furnace out there (we’re in the SE) but I kind of feel fine most of the time. Other menopausal women I know are visibly struggling, but despite being obese, Im fine. I’m guessing feeling colder is an MJ side effect?

Some updates from me:

Weigh & Measure
3lbs off this week.
Measurements since two weeks ago: half an inch gone from my waist. Two inches gone from lower stomach. 1.5 inch gone from upper arm. Half an inch gone from upper thigh.

Golden dose
My first ever golden dose came out at 3.1mg. Taken yesterday at noon. No side effects so far. Fairly good suppression. Will move to 3.5 with next dose.

Are you taking ADHD meds alongside MJ? I’ve found my ADHD meds don’t work much anymore after starting MJ

You have a DH problem not a MJ problem :(

Ive just realised I was posting on the old thread 😅 thought it had gone quiet. Need to catch up!.

5th jab here last night, delayed it a day because of the heat. Lost basically 4kg and happy with that. .

Massive indigestion for me…brutal.

My indigestion is worse on MJ anyway. I think its the fat. I am eating a lot of dairy - milk in my shakes, babybels, yoghurt for the protein content.

I think I made this mistake yesterday! I went up to 5mg for the first time in the morning.

But it felt too hot to cook anything, so snacked on fruit, kefir, yoghurt, the kids babybels and a cheese salad.

I woke up in the night with bad acid reflux, and struggled to go back to sleep as the rennies/peptac didn't touch it!

Weigh in today (forgot yesterday), and another 0.7kg / 1.5lbs off taking the total to 6kg / 13lbs in 6 weeks, so not bad. Definitely slowing down, but I'll take that.

@Rockgrin its definitely a thing and I need to cut down. Im measuring calories, net carbs, fats, protein (using cronometer) and whilst im meeting targets in all areas. Im regularly exceeding fats because of trying to keep up my protein.

About to take jab 7, a few days later than my schedule

I am really shocked with the high amount of weight loss some people have had.

I ma a restarter, maximum weekly loss ever has been 2lb, usually more like 1lb.

12lbs total lost in almost 7 weeks. Meh

It is the right direction, three more to go.

Ooh have you taken your pen with you? It must be very freeing away from the scales. I’m having to weigh constantly at the minute because I really need to go up to 5mg (it’s in the fridge waiting) I am having to use a lot a willpower with 2.5 at the min so if I stopped weighing I bet I’d go off track massively!
