Too much and sick as a dog

This is not what I wanted to hear!

You might be fine !! …. Or not , sure you will find out tomorrow ! All joking aside , most likely will be fine . - full GD and the remnants is probably just an extra 1-2 mg max

Don’t worry, me and my husband did exactly the same thing and were both completely fine! Hopefully you will be too! It’s actually a really good way to do a transition dose to 5mg x

There wasn't much in there so I reckon it was probably around 3mg in total, and I was planning on stepping up to 3.5mg next week, so this is a good bridge hopefully.

Waiting to fly home now - I didn’t take my jab a week ago and it’s been interesting . I have been able to eat and drink normally ( the first few days I was much more restrained in my eating and drinking , but naturally and not due to restraint ) the past few days caution has been thrown to the wind and I noticed that I was much more likely to eat carbs etc etc . However what I REALLY noticed was my inclination to SHOP is back ….i have spent a fortune n various things . I had noticed on MJ up to now that I am less likely to shop like crazy . I will be jabbing as soon as I get home from the airport ! Am also slightly afraid to weigh myself but I will

Just remember that you’ve likely not gained much fat (if any) and it’s all just a fluctuation in your digestive contents. 3 days and you should be pretty much the same weight unless you went mental every day

Boreded · 15/08/2026 15:47

I forgot to update on Wednesday AGAIN.

Anyway better one for me is that today I am down to the 15s. I am still huge, however I started at 19st 4 and have now lost 47lbs so at this point it is the best I could have possibly hoped for.

Non-scale victories for me are that my bath towels wrap around me and overlap all the way down, no more gaps where you can see my belly, had to order new jeans (Next size 14 slim fit, and they’re not tight) and new tops (Yours size 18 but they do feel like they’re probably more loose than normal 18s). And it feels like I’m rolling in money since I don’t eat takeaway or drink anymore, I’ve paid my loan off more than a year early, put an extra 4k into an ISA for my son, and already started on the savings to pay his tuition fees for uni.

I still hate myself and my fat belly right now, and I don’t think that I am much smaller (even though I am) but I just keep reminding myself of all of the good stuff that is happening and that in 9m I should be done with this journey.

Amazing results ! Well well done , worth every penny and by the way stop hating your self xxxx

Easier said than done isn’t it. Just have to keep reminding myself that it took me 18 years to collect all of this weight, so even if it takes 18 months to lose it then I’ll be onto a winner.

Hard when you know how much you’ve done but that it doesn’t look like much on your body. I’ll just keep plugging away at it though. I plan on getting surgery at the end of it to fix everything so I know that there is an end somewhere, it just feels like I can’t see it yet

mollio · 15/08/2026 19:50

You are doing amazing

madeinthe80z · 16/08/2026 05:11

@molliothats so interesting about the shopping! I have read things about MJ being useful for breaking other types of addictive habits like smoking and gambling etc. very interesting. How long did you go away for and how long before you went did you jab? I’ve also decided not to jab whilst I’m away so really curious to see how o deal with my ‘natural’ appetite somewhat returning towards the end as well.

@Borededyou are doing fabulously! Make sure you keep talking kind to yourself though and don’t hide away from what you’ve achieved I think we are all so hard on ourselves throughout this journey because we are impatient to get to ‘the end result’ but we have to be careful to make sure we don’t miss out on the little milestones and enjoy the process too.

I was due to take my jab the day before or potentially the day of travelling away for a week . However I had such strong suppression that week and was still feeling a bit nauseous so I decided not to jab at all . I’m glad I decided not to as it was very hot in france and extremely humid , so I would have been in a heap . I was able to eat and have a couple of spritzes without feeling too awful .
i just weighed myself now and have put on 3 lbs , but there has been some ahem “congestion” so that may be it . Also I’m still happy with a 3lb gain , it was worth it ! I jabbed last night as soon as I got back though as the biscuit eating was getting out of hand the last 3 days !! I was v nice to myself. I adore the lovely French biscuits !

That’s fabulous! I went out partying yesterday and just weighed myself and I’ve “put on” 2lb since yesterday morning so you have done amazingly!

I find chat gpt really useful for helping me with this…I give it milestones and ask it where I am against them and it gives me really positive feedback, and it curses out the scales on my behalf 😂🤣

NettleTea · 16/08/2026 21:17

weighed this morning and somehow have managed, despite a week of BBQ x 2, pizza and pasta, sweltering heat, and not drinking enough to have lost 0.9 kg

Im guessing the vague activity in forest school did it. Im still on the 2.5mg but was surprised by a 10mg pen arrival from Bolt as was sure I was getting another 7.5

anyway they have offered me a referral which gives new users £60off, rather than the usual £40 if anyone here hasnt used them yet. They come pretty high on many of the doses

Good morning everybody, how are you all doing?
final weigh in for me before going away on holiday. Hoping not to cause too much damage with the all inclusive as I’ve decided to take a week off jabbing rather than taking it with me.

SW: 13st8.5
CW: 11st10.5

If I can still see 11 on the scales when I get back I’ll be happy!

Enjoy your holiday ! I took the week off jabbing for my holiday too and I weighed in at 3 lbs over when I returned , but the next day it was actually just a 1lb gain which makes more sense. It’s important to enjoy your holiday too and be able to eat within reason without feeling sick , so I think totally worth it! We are all in it for the long game , what’s one or two weeks is gains or stalls in the bigger picture anyway !

Have a great time. Remember that even if you come back half a stone heavier and out of the 11s that it will go within a week because it is mostly just a fluctuation in the contents of your digestive system. For a week you need to eat an average of 4000 calories a day (or more) to gain 3lb of fat

Split dosing is working a treat folks - no hungry days.

I take 2.5 on Thursdays and 2.5 on Sundays.

Is anyone else doing it?

Boreded · 19/08/2026 13:06

Week 15: 2.8 down

SW: 270
CW: 221
GW: 168
GW2: 140

Total loss of 48lbs

One more weigh in for me next week before my (almost) 3 week trip. Hoping to get to 50lbs by the 28th.

This is really great to hear! I’m not doing it because 5mg per week seems to be working very well for now but I think I’ll try it first when I inevitably get to the point of deciding whether to move up again or not.

what days do you do?

Well done to all losers and all sticking-at-it-ers. I’ve not been a loser for about a month. Been too scared to go large with my 5mg pen. I’ve been doing 2.5mg with shorter intervals (six days, then five days). This week I’ve done my Sunday jab and will do another tomorrow (Thursday) so will be trialling a real ‘split dose’ 5mg in a single week. Hoping no major side effects. Have had a few headaches since injecting 2.5mg more frequently. And sometimes queasy. No obvious dramatic change in appetite suppression although very grateful for stability in appetite and weight. I’m feeling quite conservative about the whole weight loss thing. I’ve lost about 6kg and my BMI is now under 26. I feel much better physically and have persisted with 80-100g protein daily and strength training 2-3 times weekly. I’m not sure how I feel about losing more weight. I’ve seen a few local women become unrecognisable and/or ill-looking as they have lost so much weight. That is not my aim at all! I think I probably need this extended period of weight plateau to work out what matters for me personally. I might have reached my personal “that’ll do” point! Or at least “that’ll do for now”!

NettleTea · 19/08/2026 22:23

Im still going strong on 2.5. Im not quite sure how, but it does seem to be working pretty much as well as it ever did. I have my lymphodema massage tomorrow so will be interesting to see if she notices a difference as havent seen her for 2 months
