I know it's technically still May, but I am jabbing today for the first time so really it's going to be June that I am properly in my mounjaro journey.
I am scared that I am going to have some crazy side effects after taking the injection today. I am scared of doing it wrong! I have watched some videos so I will probably watch them again before actually doing it.
So far, I've only told DH and one friend. DH was more supportive than I expected him to be, but in a nice way. I think he's waiting to see how I get on before thinking about it himself!
I don't have loads to lose. I am currently 13st 3 and 5'8" so BMI of 27.5. Aiming for 11 stone but ideally I'd like to be around 10st 10 as I used to be stable at that weight for ages and felt happy there. Recently been diagnosed with high cholesterol and my BP is creeping up a bit when it has always been spot on so need to get in with some lifestyle changes.
I am scared! Excited too, but mostly scared at the moment!
