I’ve finally taken the plunge and just ordered Wegovy from Asda pharmacy. All been well it should be ready for collection on Tuesday so it would be great to hear from anyone else who has just started or is about start their WLI/Weygovy journey.
I’m very nervous and haven’t told anyone, but I’ve just failed at my 3rd diet attempt this year and feeling horribly self-conscious about my weight and dreading the summer so just thought fuck it, I’m going to give it a go.

@BreakingBroken similarly I’ve only gained weight due to I assume perimenopause in the yr or so before I started these injections. I’d never been above 150 pounds before that so just find it strange ppl are commenting on me going back to my more normal weight/size but the weight gain must have been quite obvious. I do think I’d a lot of hormonal inflammation though.

@lechatnoir delighted the slightly higher dose is working for u❤️ makes losing so much easier when ur not having to think on it as much.

and @JumpingJacks11 "so much easier when ur not having to think on it as much" this 100 times.
i'm way post meno and my weight gain was situational stress back to back two years running some typical stuff still difficult to deal with; my mom's health was failing and she passed away in feb, my daughter's relationship with her partner broke down in the most bazar and dramatic fashion (this is ongoing but a certain unstable stability is present and an end point is visable) and the worse pain i've ever felt is my youngest son being diagnosed with a life limiting disease. which is the most raw and horrible emotional pain i've ever experienced (but i have hope of treatment very soon).

I did my first 5k run today. Got a medal and everything. It’s amazing as 5 months ago I didn’t exercise and could hardly walk up the stairs. I am exhausted now though! I’ve moved up to 1.0 and losing 1 - 2 pounds a week which I’m happy with.
