I’ve finally taken the plunge and just ordered Wegovy from Asda pharmacy. All been well it should be ready for collection on Tuesday so it would be great to hear from anyone else who has just started or is about start their WLI/Weygovy journey.
I’m very nervous and haven’t told anyone, but I’ve just failed at my 3rd diet attempt this year and feeling horribly self-conscious about my weight and dreading the summer so just thought fuck it, I’m going to give it a go.

I also love my breakfast. Overnight Weetabix with flax and Fage strawberry yoghurt. Heaven!

I've been having yoghurt and banana for breakfast. Without jabs that wouldn't have kept me going for an hour but with, I don't even really want to eat lunch at all 5/6 hours later.

i see meals as a bonding time with dh. So even though I’m not hungry famished, I set the table and we start the day together. As a long time dieter I have several 250 calorie or so options that work. My downfall is lunch plus later on a mid day “coffee break”. It all adds up in my case to slight excesses in calories but it’s not breakfast. I need to curate similar safe lunches. Right now my protein powder/fiber drink is an easy crutch at 170 cal. for a safe lunch option.

@Ibwah a Canadian product called Good Protein available online or at Costco.
protein/fiber and no sugars
loads of flavor options. smooth even without a blender.

I must say that I thought I was not really having much of an effect from wegovy 0.25 but I have not injected this week as forgot my
pen and have gone on holiday to a cottage with family. I have been eating so much more than I have been the last month so it must’ve been doing something. I am going to inject 0.5 when I get home. I had no side effects with 0.25 so hopefully the delay of 13 days will
not be too
much of a shock!

I am! 7lbs in 4 weeks. I started at 18 stone 4 at the end of 2024.

all that walking and i'm down a measly .1 this morning. no choice but to accept that number and keep on track, still pleased overall but i'm really really longing to see 169.9 for a mini milestone.

should be jab day but i'm very pleased with the appetite suppression and happy to delay a bit longer. i would like to stay on a low dose for as long as possible and focus on my meal planning and exercise.
i'm still not getting great integration of data from my withings app/apple fitness app/and the apple health app. and somehow along the way i lost all the info for the last 10 days (which made for a lovely graph).

My weight is still static. So I tried some clothes on which was encouraging as definitely smaller. Slow slowly does it. Only 0.2lb off this week, but at least not a gain.
I had a meal out today and took half home. I know I'd be gaining weight without the jab.

@VividDeer i know many a personal trainer who advocate for measurements and after all that walking and super careful eating i know i should be down more than .1, and i hope what isn't showing up on the scale is showing up in some measurement changes.
well done on checking the sizing with some clothes! and the great attitude that without the jab you (and i) would be gaining.
so far food choices remain good and todays walk was much faster than the longer ones while out visiting.

Morning everyone- I’ve hit sub 15 stone ! This is a big milestone for me so I’m really pleased ! Almost 2 stone down. I met a friend for lunch yesterday- not seen them for a while and they noticed I’d lost weight so that was nice!
I also fell in the street at the weekend - not my finest hour - really hurt my knee - but I was able to get up after - which a few weeks ago would have been a problem!

I lost 1 stone 3, but since January. Although very happy with that.

wow wow wow @RaelImperialAerosolKid excellent response.
i've lost 14.9 lbs since i started April 17th.
i've held off on increasing and have even spaced out my jab days because i'm pleased with the suppression but maybe i should follow the usual plan of weekly injections and increasing amounts?

Well done all. I am having an accidental break from wegovy for a week whilst on holiday. I am annoyed for forgetting my pen. Full
throttle ahead when I return on
sunday. I have eaten too much ice cream!

You're all doing so well!

At the end of week 7 here on 0.25mg and a total of 9lbs down, stalled for a couple of weeks but 1lb off this morning and last jab (and a bit, there were about 10 clicks left after the full dose) of 2nd pen finished. It's not the rate that some of you are losing but it'll do. I have another 0.25mg pen but thinking I might double dose next week to see if that helps me speed things up a bit. I'd like to get 11lb off over next 10 weeks so that's me out if the 12 stone range by my summer holiday!

DP and a couple of friends know I am doing the jabs but kids haven't noticed them in fridge! There's a couple of other very close friends who ordinarily we talk about everything but they've been really judgey on jabs so am not telling them! DP said he can feel I am slimmer which is lovely to hear 😍

jab day today, it's been 10 days since my last wli.
i still had decent suppression of cravings/snacking etc. but concerned about not seeing much movement on the scale this week AT ALL.
however i continue to do well on the exercise and water.
i don't really think i could increase my exercise much more than what i'm doing, some hard outdoor walks (hilly sections and indoor work with light weights). i might consider swimming? i like to swim and am a good swimmer but it would be very time consuming oh i could add in biking but my bicycle needs servicing.
time wise the best option is the bike maintenance and fitting that in vs driving 30 minutes to the pool.
my app still claims i'm dehydrated, muscle mass up and fat down.

one of those weeks where i need to trust the process.

good food choices not an issue and for the most part i'm reaching my protein and fiber goals while sticking close to 1000 cal per day. logging is time consuming but helps reassure me that i'm not overeating/underestimating certain items.

i hope everyone is doing well going into the weekend!!

Still on 3lbs total weight loss here after six jabs. Managed fasting till lunchtime three days this week but the other days I was just too hungry! So I must still be taking in too many cals for my needs, even though it’s three meals with no snacks, no alcohol and all pretty healthy. Side effects seem much better though and hoping the 0.7 will give me better appetite suppression.

May I join this thread? I started wegovy 0.25 at the end of April, and will be going up to 0.5 next injection. I have not lost anything, and thought that was normal for the first month, but looking at this thread it seems that everyone is losing. I have about 1.5 stone to lose.

Exercise yes a lot, calorie counting not so much. I guess it’s the next step.

Hiya! Hello all new and April
starters. I have been reading through and I am feeling a bit reassured that some of you have been having the same experience as me - I also have only lost about 3lb in a month. I am back after a week break and accidentally forgot my pen on holiday, which is a new 0.5mg. I injected 0.25mg 13 days ago and I was just going to go straight up to 0.5mg even though I had that longish break but now I am feeling worried and thinking I should probably click count this week. Was thinking of click counting to 0.375 (28 clicks). I had v little suppression and no side effects from 0.25 and am a
previous Mounjaro user so was wondering what others would do? I also over ate on holiday, I knew it would happen which is why I got the pen and was planning to talk it but it was v rushed with the kids on the morning and I forgot to take out of fridge. Will inject on Sunday morning as want Sunday to be my normal
day.
