Weight loss injections: How did weight loss affect your breast size?

ey ladies,
Hope you don’t mind me asking—just looking for a bit of real-life experience and reassurance. I’m really tempted to start WLI next week, but feeling a bit nervous.

I’m 5ft 1 and about 11 stone, so technically in the “obese” BMI category. I’m currently a 36FF, and a big part of my hesitation is what weight loss might do to my boobs.

For those who’ve lost weight (especially fairly quickly), how did it affect your breast size and shape? I’m a bit worried they’ll sag or droop a lot, and it’s honestly putting me off a bit—even though I’m already getting quite a bit of backache from them as it is.

Would really appreciate hearing your experiences 💛

I’ve lost 8 stone over a year. I was a 44H and am now a 36HH. The cup size hasn’t gone down as you can see, however they have definitely dropped lower, although to be fair mine were quite droopy already. I’m 44 for context.

unsync · 21/03/2026 04:20

My health was more important to me than any aesthetic considerations. Every body is different so regardless of what people say here, your body will do its' own thing.

If it worries you, take it slowly and make sure that you eat properly and exercise sufficiently. Underlying muscle being in good shape can help.

GloiredeDijon · 21/03/2026 06:17

I have decreased band size but my cup size is still the same as @afromom .

KitsyWitsy · 21/03/2026 06:24

38G to 32G. Slightly droopy but still fine. Nobody’s complaining anyway.

wizzywig · 21/03/2026 06:28

Down a cup size. And my bums kinda gone. But in the grand scheme of things its all good

ZenNudist · 21/03/2026 06:34

My friend says hers are flaps of skin that hang down.

It will definitely reduce your bust but surely that's the point?

Another friend not on wli has lost so much weight she's now very flat from having a big bust. She looks very stylish in all her clothes.

Wildgoat · 21/03/2026 06:34

There will be no one answer to this. But the way to protect shape etc is by exercising, developing muscle.

it also depends on how much you lose. But if you want to like your body at the end of it, then strength training and consuming enough protein is the only way,

Oceangrey · 21/03/2026 06:43

3st down and 36JJ to 32H, shape hasn't really changed, they probably look better.

YesssSpringHasSprung · 21/03/2026 06:46

3 stone down here and my boobs aren’t doing too badly. I’ve been doing lots of weights throughout as well as keeping my protein up. Am just doing my 36Fs up on the tightest hook rather than the loosest and have tightened the straps. Should probably buy new bras but am waiting as long as I can.

My butt however has really shrunk!

Elektra1 · 21/03/2026 06:58

I lost 2.5 stone, not through WLI but after a traumatic life event. My boobs went from 34FF to 32D. They aren’t droopy (or no more so than before), just smaller.

Ineedanewsofa · 21/03/2026 07:02

Have definitely lost a band size, cup size is still the same. Have lost a lot of volume though, I won’t be going topless any time soon!

QueenofLouisiana · 21/03/2026 07:08

I lost 3.5 stone, gone from 38DD to 34 F

Zempy · 21/03/2026 07:11

I lost five and a half stone in 14 months. I went from 34GG to 30GG.

I am far happier with smaller boobs.

VelociraptorsVelociRapping · 21/03/2026 07:12

Ten stone loss. 40K (which was probably too small but the biggest available) to 30J, so five band sizes down and six cup sizes down (it’s not correct to say that my cup has gone down two sizes as cups are relative to band size). I’ve always had big boobs which weren’t perky even when I was very young. They went through a period of being a bit droopy but they have definitely firmed up with maintenance. Considering my significant weight loss and gain and the fact that I breastfed both of my children into toddlerhood they look pretty good! I wouldn’t go braless for comfort reasons but I can wear unwired bralettes around the house for the first time ever.

There’s no strength workout that will help much as there’s no muscle in breast tissue. You can strengthen the pectoral muscle and this can help a little, but not much. Losing relatively slowly will help (although I didn’t); maintaining has made all the difference for me.

44H to 36HH is a reduction of four cup sizes!

cramptramp · 21/03/2026 07:17

Same as weight loss by any means, they decreased in size. This has nothing to do with losing weight using injections.

Focusispower · 21/03/2026 07:25

I didn’t loose that much weight (10Kg) but mine totally shrunk and I couldn’t be happier about it!! From 32e to 30c. I’d done 7 years of babies and breastfeeding and I love having boobs that will fit in a crop top!

Hotfirewood · 21/03/2026 07:36

I’m 12 weeks into my MJ journey. I’ve lost 9.5kg (20lbs). Now 11st 3lbs. BMI 24.7

My boobs have always been my best feature at 34C. No change yet. I’ll cry if my cup size reduces 😆 ChatGPT says my HRT oestrogen patches will help keep breast tissue 🙏🤦🏼‍♀️

That’s interesting. I’ve lost 4 stone on MJ and yes my boobs are smaller which I’m pleased about, but they’re not as small as they were before I gained weight (I kept some of the bras which don’t fit despite me being a lower weight now than I was then). I am on HRT, I wonder if that’s the reason?

InfoSecInTheCity · 21/03/2026 08:03

Honestly, they’ve gone. I always thought I had big boobs, apparently I just had a large collection of fat in my chest area. I was a different body shape and history to you though, I was obese at 11 and varied between obese and morbidly obese for 30 years. I’m 5ft 8 and thought I had more of an Amazonian build, wide hips, big boobs, big boned etc. I lost the weight, now in the middle of the healthy BMI range and discovered I’m actually naturally very slender, I have slim wrists, narrow hips, a thigh gap and a flat chest. It was quite surprising!

myladyjane · 21/03/2026 08:12

Lost 5 stone and down from a 38f to a 34 g (probably a 32 now. Early 50s. They are a bit saggy but not awful I guess. They seem bigger though because I have a narrow back and shoulders and a short body and my upper body is pretty slim (what weight I have left is on my thighs).

afromom · 21/03/2026 08:12

@VelociraptorsVelociRapping that’s interesting, I didn’t realise that back size going down meant cup size had too!

one thing I have noticed is that I am able to get much better and more supportive bras in my new size. Previously they never seemed to be lifted enough in my bras, now although droopy without a bra, they sit much better in my bras.

MoreIcedLattePlease · 21/03/2026 08:17

Mine have definitely deflated a bit, and look shit without a bra, but all of me looked shit when I was fatt(er) so I'm not too bothered. DH doesn't care and a decent bra can work wonders.

I'm planning/hoping to have some surgery to sort out loose skin and sagging when I've maintained my goal weight for some time, so will sort the boobs out then.

For context - I was a G cup by the age of 16 and they got bigger when I had DC. I've wanted a reduction for as long as I can remember. Currently gone down one back size (4.5 stone loss) but I can tell I will need to go down another soon. Cup size the same.

aquitodavia · 21/03/2026 08:20

I really want mine to go down, that's part of the point for me.

(Also just pointing out that if your band size has gone down then your cup size has too, even if it's the same letter, because it's calculated in relation to your band size)

OneThirdLess · 21/03/2026 09:23

40E to 32C. They look awful, TBH. So wrinkly, like little hairless scrotums attached to my chest. I am sad about it, but still - if I'd known this is how they'd turn out before losing - I'd still have done it.
