Hello from New York!!
I'm hoping i don't come home with too much of a gain, barely eaten as we are too busy sight seeing

I hope you have an amazing experience! You could do with some happy times after the past few weeks x

Jab 7 taken, second week on 5mg. Apart from the small blip of nausea the day after my first 5mg jab, I’m feeling good. Definitely thinking about food less and back to the suppression I felt in the first few weeks. Very happy that I have lost my first stone!

SW - 15st 11lbs
CW - 14st 9lbs
GW - 10st 7lbs

Loss so far - 1st 2lbs

Springflowers3 · 14/02/2026 14:17

@notcomfortable have a fabulous time in New York.

I’m up in that London for an opera matinee. Had a disappointing but expensive lunch but could only eat half. Not been having as much appetite suppression and definitely ready for 5mg so think I’ll order that soon and double up on the 2.5 pen.

However, appetite has definitely changed and feel much more content with smaller portions so even without full on suppression it is still helping.

Hope those feeling queasy start to feel better soon.

bec81 · 14/02/2026 14:24

So, i have set myself a few mini-targets to keep me motivated, the first one was to be 75kg by valentines (5 weeks from first jab), which would mean 1 stone lost (excuse the interchangeable units!). I was 73.9kg on my last weigh-in on Wednesday, so tick!
Next mini goal is to hit 70kg by paddy's day (another 5 weeks). That feels very doable now, I might even review my targets closer to the due dates

NewPantsforaNewYear · 14/02/2026 15:46

W5D2 for me today. Yesterday I had the golden dose from my 2.5mg pen and it was about 0.75ml so I think just over 3mg.
For the last two weeks I’ve had very little suppression and plateaued for one week and put on a pound last week, after some snacking - too many peanuts I think.
Felt a little bit queasy yesterday but more suppression which I needed. Aiming to go up to 3.75mg by counting clicks next week and then I can always move up to 5mg if it doesn’t seem to be enough.
11lbs down from starting weight so slow but steady. Really want to hit my first stone though.

CatNoBag · 14/02/2026 18:39

@BooptotheFloof I haven’t told my husband either, but he doesn’t really rummage in the fridge much so I can safely hide it there. I have two pens (long story!) wrapped in a ziplock in a basket of tins of tonic, where he wouldn’t ever really go!

@bec81 - I’m doing mini goals too. The big goal is too overwhelming to think about and I get downhearted if there’s a slow week, so just taking it 1 or 2 targets at a time. This week I seem to have had a bigger loss after a slower couple of weeks, so all good progress!

InstantRegret · 14/02/2026 19:00

For those of you that stayed on 2.5mg, are you happy with that decision or do you wish you had gone up to 5mg after the initial 4 weeks?
Same question to those who went up to 5mg. Are you happy with that decision or do you wish you had stayed on 2.5mg for longer?

bookwormcrazy · 14/02/2026 19:11

@InstantRegret I went up to 5mg and I am happy with that decision. I’m hoping to stay on it as long as possible but the 2.5 started well and then effects did waver after 2 weeks. I hope that doesn’t happen with the 5.

2026istheyear2 · 14/02/2026 19:49

@InstantRegret I stayed on 2.5 but at the end of week 6 it did feel like it was weakening so I have just gone up to 3.75 this week. I got a 5mg pen so I could have the option and just took half doses the first 2 weeks.

I moved up and am thrilled. 2.5 had stopped working for me very quickly, at five the suppression kicked in straight away.

YellowStockings · 14/02/2026 20:17

I stayed on 0.25 but increased to every 5 days after starting the second pen and I'm glad I did, I've still lost weight and have had no horrible symptoms (apart from sluggish digestion), and I'm feeling more confident about slowly increasing further. I've just taken my 8th dose this evening.

For my third pen I've bought a 0.5, but I'm going to split it into five 0.4 doses by click counting. TBC if I'm going to take it every 7 days or every 6 days, it'll depend on how I feel.

Perimenoanti · 14/02/2026 21:07

Has anyone tried My Protein and does it mix well without a shaker, I.e. Just through stirring?

cautiouslyoptimistic3 · 14/02/2026 21:40

I have tried the my protein clear shakes and I initially just shook it in an insulated mug. I did then buy a shaker. It’s better with a shaker but doesn’t completely dissolve initially. For the regular protein powders I add them to yoghurt and mix or in a smoothie and use a nutribullet for that.

I stayed on 2.5 but the end of week 6 I didn’t feel any effects of the dose and was actively seeking out treats

I took a 5mg dose for Week seven and although earlier I said no side effects I then had the worst suppression today

I only ate a bowl of muesli and blueberries for breakfast and then made my self a bowl of mixed veg for dinner - I ate two spoonfuls and felt so full - but we were eating at the dinner table with the kids and I didn’t want to make a fuss so I ate very very very slowly and finished my food but oh my god I felt awful

Also I knew I needed to eat it - otherwise I’d have been on 200 calories for the day which is ludicrous

Nervous about next week - as I jab on Thursday and then am going to family for a few days and I can’t be sick there or obviously not eating!

I am tempted not to jab until I get home on Sunday \ Monday so I don’t ruin everyone’s weekend

Or maybe I should micro dose

I’m happy with the decision to move up because I’ve had no negative side effects and it’s doing its job.

Hettar · 14/02/2026 22:54

@InstantRegret

I stayed on 2.5 and the slow transition has gone but the food noise is still quite. I think the initial month has got me in a good habit so I'm still eating healthy. However, I feel I could eat a lot more food than before.

I'll be moving up to 5mg when this pen finishes.

Thank you. What is a regular protein powder and do you know how my protein is different?

I ordered the trial BTW with 10 different flavours or so.

cautiouslyoptimistic3 · 14/02/2026 23:18

I think you must be talking about the clear ones that you have ordered. My protein and other brands also do non-clear protein powders - they come in different flavours and come out more creamy and are more filling/heavy. I think on WLI
people have recommended the clear ones as they feel not as rich and still give you 20g of protein.

in the past I have used Solgar vanilla flavour ones that are nice but hard to find the brand here. And these ones are also quite nice

Ah okay, I didn't understand the difference. I haven't ordered the clear ones. I thought they are just different flavours. Anyway too late now. Im going to try them and see.

Morning everyone , on 3rd jab of 5 mg and doing well so far . One more next week then moving up to 7.5mg .

Here are my stats - I’ve attached a pic instead . 10.6kg loss since beginning of January . Pleased and hoping for the same over the next two few weeks too.

I’ve been doing two spin classes a week and just added one gym visit for weights so far .

Standard weigh day is a Sunday for me but weighing everyday and just following the trend .

I hope everyone has a lovely Sunday and manages to enjoy their day. Just going into half term with my three aged 6 and under, so I’m sure I’ll be reaching for some wine at some point !

Perianth · 15/02/2026 08:58

Weigh in day for me today and I’ve lost just over 2lbs this week. Feels a little disappointing, but only in light of the bigger losses earlier on.

I have hit another mini milestone this week though, which has given me a little lift - I’ve achieved 20% of my goal!

About to start my second 2.5 pen and I plan to jab every 5 days and move up to 5 next time I buy.

bec81 · 15/02/2026 09:02

Was treated to a delicious homecooked meal last night, with a few glasses of cremant. I had more calories in one meal than I have been eating in an entire day lately. Added to the wines empty calories, I had a bad day on the my fitness pal app. I hope its not reflected too badly on the scales on Wednesday

I've stayed on 2.5 mg and am happy with it. I stiĺ get hungry and I still think about food, but it doesn't overwelm me. The only difference is that I now feel more anxious around those feelings because of worry that it's stopped working. I'm hoping I'll learn to trust it's still doing its job.

AddUpToNothing · 15/02/2026 10:01

Happy grey Sunday everyone. Hope you’ve all had a good week.

Had my 2nd 5mg jab last night. Luckily I haven’t had any side effects from moving up (yet!) The appetite suppression is definitely a lot stronger so having to make sure I’m making the right choices when eating. I am hoping to stay on 5mg for as long as possible.

Still working on my water intake. I find it so hard to drink more. I only ever have a drink with a meal, never in between. Have been like this since a child.

Now for the all important weigh in… lost another 2lb this week so am 13lb down. Though I did another weigh in this morning and was a pound lighter but I don’t feel like I can celebrate the ‘losing a stone’ milestone as it wasn’t on my official weigh in day 😂

HollywoodTease · 15/02/2026 11:23

Small things. Not weighing in officially until Tuesday when I do my next dose (1st 5mg, eek) but I have a tendency to hop on the scales each morning just to be nosy.

Today it appears that for the first time in at least 8 years my BMI is under 40 😮

I don't set a huge amount of store by it as I am short but with massive boobs so it doesn't really "work" for me, but even so I feel a kind of calm smugness this morning as another mini-goal is ticked off.

High 5 anyone? 🖐️ 😁
