So I said this year I was going to try harder and be more accountable.

I started off at about 302lb and lost a bit on my own

I don't have stats from the beginning, just from when I downloaded nutracheck and started Rybelsus, so

March 2023 SW 254lbs 18 st 2 or 115.2kg

Feb 2024 199.8 lb

Feb 2025 189.4 lb (whilst on 15mg for a whole year I sts)

Feb 2026 160lb ( still on 15mg) so 30lb in a year, very happy with that

My goal is to lose 100lb initially, and then see where I'm at so I have 16.8 lb to get there. Bmi currently 26.8 from 42.3 in march 2023

Apologies in advance if TMI but wanted to share.

I’ve made a few posts on my inability to poop…I’ve tried every potential solution suggested by you bunch of losers…sadly nothing has ever worked and I’d resigned myself to the fact that it’s just how things are. Until….

Chia seeds!

They have been an absolute game changer for me…only been a week but I can actually now go quite easily and fairly frequently (well, in comparison to before anyway). I’ve been OMAD for about 8 months now but have been popping a tablespoon of seeds into a yoghurt at bedtime and then having it first thing (seeds have absorbed liquid from the yogurt so it’s quite thick).

Fingers crossed I might actually have a solution!!

So after one year on Mounjaro and a 5 stone weightIoss I finally went clothes shopping today. I entered the shops in my old size 22/24 top and jacket and size 20 jeans and left with a jacket and 3 blouses in size 18 and size 12 jeans! Size 14 jeans would have been okay too, but as I'm planning to wear the new outfit all spring, I guess it was a good choice to size down a bit. The jeans do button up and I can squat in them. I couldn't quite believe that I fit into a size 12!😯

canaritini · 02/02/2026 12:36

My new outfit😊

I had an odd non-scale effect of weight loss the other day (not sure I'd call it a victory!). I had to re-teach my phone my fingerprint - I kept having issues getting my phone to recognise me, I think that the lack of plumpness in my thumb (particularly in cold weather) was causing problems!

Other NSVs in the last week or so -

I've gone down a notch on my belt
My swimming and running times have both improved
My hip pain has pretty much gone
My work uniform is far too big, time to dig out the smaller ones that are stashed somewhere in my wardrobe

And hopefully I'll have some more good news to share soon when I get the results of the bloods I had done today!

MrTiddlesTheCat · 02/02/2026 15:31

Well here's a first for me. Had an appointment with the dietician this morning. She's really pleased with my progress, but ... I need to eat more. 53 years and medical professionals have only ever berated me and told me to eat less. I've finally been told to eat more. 😂 I still have 60 kg to lose mind, just not at the speed I'm currently going as it's not good for me.

FourSeasonsTotalLandscaping · 02/02/2026 15:47

I ordered some dresses from Mountain Warehouse. Now, admittedly they are stretchy, but they are a size 16 and they fit.

Friends, it's weigh-in day and I've had a whoosh! No real clue why as this week has not been significantly different than last week in terms of what I've put into my body, and if anything I've exercised less due to plantar fasciitis (slowly getting better.) I weigh daily for motivation/accountability, but only have one official weigh in day - and like many of you have found, sometimes it's frustrating because you see losses right up until that day! But not this morning - in the last week, I have lost 6lbs! Another example of women's bodies making no bloody sense, but I'll take it, and try not to get my hopes up for next week! I was getting very disheartened and considering stopping MJ because of the costs/lack of results. Eli Lily himself (no clue if it was an actual person, but let's pretend!) must have noticed this, and sent some divine intervention to ensure I keep handing over my cash!

So, I am now the same weight I was on Dec 18. I gained a bloody stupid 15lbs over Christmas and NY and it's taken me until now to lose it. Frustrating that I went off piste like that, but now I have a fresh start. I am very much NOT one of those people who can have a treat or a day of indulgence and get away with it. I am not on good terms with moderation in anything I do, and I've realised that letting myself fall off the wagon means I stay off it for a while, do some serious damage, and then skin a knee while I'm clambering back on. Tough week ahead in that I have a few boozy nights out, and a celebration at a posh restaurant for my son's birthday. Nice things to be sure, but I have needed a couple of quiet weeks in the house to really get a grip of myself - maybe the plantar was a sneaky help! Anyway. Nice to be back on track, shame about the lengthy detour - my body's sat nav sent me the wrong way, and then told me to make a U-turn!

CW: 237lb (in the sixteens!!!!)
SW: 307lb

PS: edited to add - just realised I have now lost 5 stone exactly. Then got a bit overwhelmed because even if I lose that much again, I still won't be at even the upper end of my healthy BMI...the big picture can sometimes be too much, I'll concentrate on the miniature instead!

Edited

Hooray for the well deserved whoosh! And enjoy the posh dinner guilt free

D’you know…you might just have solved something for me that I didn’t even think about!! For about 4 months now I’ve been having problems with FaceID on phone…always thought these things worked off your eye pattern, but maybe not, and it’s reflecting my face being thinner!

Looking fantastic! Can't believe how slim your legs are. Must have felt great shopping.

I am struggling to stop snacking, I think my brain knows I'm going home and don't snack there so is now calling out for all the snacks in my snack drawer. I've been eating loads this past week and promised myself I'd stop today.,. and I didn't. It's really hard to break habits even when it's only been a week! I didn't go crazy over christmas so not sure why I'm determined to eat all of my snacks now (mostly presents from people). Tomorrow! Tomorrow I'll do better... actually that depresses me saying that because it reminds me of Old Me constantly restarting diets.

diggitydoo · 02/02/2026 22:12

I’m still fucked off as I’ve apparently put on another pound! I just don’t get it. :-( i think i’m eating bang on 1600 calories which is apparently a 800 deficit. I’m worried that I’m going a bit insane. Does this sound like 1600 calories ?

Breakfast

Protein wrap, 2 eggs, 50 g smoked tofu (air fried), mushrooms, tomatoes

Meal

Smoked mackerel fillet, small mozzarella ball, 6 airfryer chips, lettuce, mange tout, tomatoes, spinach, onion , boiled egg

Plate

2 baby potatoes, Greek yoghurt coleslaw with carrot and cabbage, ½ corn on cob , 3 slices of roast ham

Snacks

2 slices Wafer thin ham, small cheese cube, scotch pancake + Nutella, 4 strawberries, an Orange

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 02/02/2026 22:18

@diggitydoo have you genuinely weighed and measured everything on that list?

It seems like a mountain of food to me.

"Does this sound like 1600 calories"

Frankly, no. I'm a bit worried that you're only guessing how many calories that is.

No drinks? I factor in 200 cals milk a day if I'm calorie counting.

Finally - try IF and OMAD. Never fails to work for me. You seem to be eating very frequently.

OP posts:
TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 02/02/2026 22:21

@diggitydoo at a rough guess I'd say you were eating more like 2,500 cals a day.
TBF I've done the same as you and guessed....... but it seems like a lot more than 1600.

OP posts:
SilenceInside · 02/02/2026 22:23

@diggitydoo because I am lazy, I asked ChatGPT to estimate the calories in your list of food and it came back with approximately 1600 obviously dependent on the actual size/weight of each item.

If you've weighed and measured everything and logged it, does it come out at 1600 ish?

diggitydoo · 02/02/2026 22:26

i am Measuring. Drinks wise I had two cups of tea and then just water.

Oh dear, maybe I was thinking about the size of portions I'd eat........
