MJ 2.5mg just taken dose three
planning on staying on 2.5mg for my next pen
SW: 13 stone 9.4lbs
Week 1: lost 11 lbs
Week 2: lost 3 lbs
Total weightloss: 1 stone (a small jack russel terrier)
GW: 9 stone 7

Hello all! I was just about to post on the old thread to ask how everyone was and why it had gone silent, when I noticed it had reached 40 pages… DUH.

Delighted to find the new thread and that you are all still here. I can’t do this on my own!

I’m having an interesting second week. Suppression has been better than the first, to the extent that during two exceedingly stressful days I almost forgot to eat at all. Normally in times of stress I binge eat so this was very unusual for me.

However despite this I suspect I may see no weight loss on jab day tomorrow. I lost ten pounds in my first week, but this week it’s been up and down the same couple of pounds every day. We’ll see what’s what on the official weigh-in tomorrow.

I took a half dose of 1.25 mj last week as an onboarding experiment. I had a very busy work week and was worried about side effects. I didn't want to put it off anymore.I counted calories and macros.

I lost 4 pounds! We still have unfinished packets of biscuits and crisps we bought the kids last week, because I am not eating them. I am, weirdly, not using 80% of my mental space trying not to eat those foods (Before inevitably succumbing)

I was going to go up to 2.5, but I've decided to do another week at 1.25 because it's alright and I want to go slow. I had spent weeks trying to white knuckle 1500 calories a day and this week it was easy.

I've had a bit of heartburn and some queasiness. I'm ready to go up to 2.5 but so far so good.

another 1.5lb off so that takes me to 13.5lb in 3 weeks so I’m super happy.

but my goddddd I am hungry today! Still undecided about whether to go up to 0.5mg next pen, I can always come back down if the side effects hit me I guess. I’m going to order on Sunday so need to make a decision 🫣

Hi all. Just ordered my first lot of Wegovy. It was £29! Can I join? I’m really afraid of feeling sick and also of my medication not working as well as not absorbing as quickly. But I’m 14.12 and feel rubbish!

£29?! How much are the later doses? I paid boots £89 for the first one!
I’ve just done the first injection. Feel a bit odd but it’s too soon surely? And I’ve had late nights and an atrocious week woth work. Feel pretty straightforward gn out tbh

it’s week 3 for me (Monday jabber - Wegovy) and yesterday and today were the first times I’ve felt really nauseous on waking. It passes by mid morning and not actually been sick so it’s manageable. Haven’t wanted to eat much at all the past 3 days. Popped to the gym for an hour.

someone upthread said about reclaiming hours of time you would usually be thinking about food - I absolutely feel the same. This morning I had to pop out and came back past a supermarket. Usually I’d be justifying popping in to pick up something - breakfast or a lunch deal or a family size chocolate bar. The thought flitted through my mind in a vague way but carried on its merry way, as did I. It’s very, very weird.

my friend tells me I can half my current bill for my 2.5mg for MJ by buying 5mg pen (found one priced at the same price as the £210 I’m paying for my 2.5mg pen) and he said “just counting clicks” for 2.5 and storing in fridge for 8 weeks as it will last 8 weeks

Wow some fab losses v impressive!!. I haven't lost much this week but have lost 15lb in total. 3rd dose tomorrow so can't complain. I have ordered 5mg as have felt hungry/food noises but don't think I will go up more than 5.

I got price match discount which med express as didn't want want the faff of swapping. But get the discount of next order. If anyone wants referral for med ex please send me a message.

Where are you buying from @notcomfortable? Have you jumped pharmacies? How did you do that?

Lloyd's pharmacy gave me that price
I haven't stayed with a supplier, I've always changed as I have found it cheaper
Just make sure you have photos of your prescription, photos of your weight with the date and it'll get accepted
Its not really a faff as it only takes a couple minutes

I was just looking at Lloyds. I bought from Bolt originally and they have given me a referral code - if i refer a friend we both get £40 off, but given that they are offering £70 off through Monj, I'm not going to be inundated with takers!

I'm not sure what I could give them to prove my prescription though - I don't have any paperwork and the dosage instruction label with my name on it was on the box I threw away I think! I'll have to check after work.

I called him dodgy Dave for having a cash price he didn’t laugh at all :)

I don’t have any evidence of prescription either; i just get a general email to say it’s been prescribed but my details aren’t attached. I received my 5mg this week but have another dose of 2.5 left for in a weeks time, and they’re already emailing me saying I should order my next lot!

I felt someone put an extra day in the week this week.

4th jab administered yesterday and no effects, bar taste buds still bit wonky.

I put in reorder today and decided to try 5 mg.

Meanwhile, it's hard to get an accurate amount of weight lost, because I go up and down, depending on water retention.

If anyone has any magic potion for water retention, let me know 😬

Can I ask about smaller doses? Or spacing doses out longer than a week apart?

I’m getting really good results from 2.5mg of Mounjaro. Was due to take it Wednesday night (injection 2) but still felt uncomfortably full on Wednesday & Thursday, so didn’t take it.

Feel ok today, still almost no appetite & wondering whether I should take 1.25? Or usual 2.5? Or leave it a couple of days? Going away for the weekend & don’t know what to do - back on Sunday.

And I know the pen should only last 30 days…

Any advice?

jab four for me tonight of 2.5mg . It’s doing its job . I’m eating small portions and no breakfast . Aiming for 1300 ish a day. I do still get hungry and sometimes go 1600 .

I am also with team rh and they tell me with the jab I should be eating 2100 calories . I physically can’t do that currently and seem to be happy with what time doing, so just using their weigh log and calorie counting software currently .

i am a bit of a drinker and love a wine , but since I’ve taken the jab , I’ve drunk barely anything - save a couple of drinks at my nephews funeral .

I’ve just poured myself a red wine and drinking it so slowly, which is most unlike me .

I'm the same - taken third dose, one left for next week, and then have bought my 5mg pen... and Medexpress are already emailing me about ordering my next lot! Steady on chaps!! 🤣

I just had my first bit of pizza in 3 weeks because my family are enjoying pizza night, and it was like eating cardboard. I used to love a pizza but felt full really quickly and was bored after just a quarter of it. Had anyone else been bored by things they used to love?

I never thought this would happen to me! It's made me realise just how much I've enjoyed eating more nutritious meals.

I've just reordered 0.25 of Wegovy for another month. I want this to be an ongoing, sustainable loss, so I think it makes sense if I keep losing on this dose to try and keep it going for another month, but if it doesn't then I'll double dose and order a 0.5. Hope I won't regret my decision! Due to take dose 4 tomorrow.

I have 'only' lost 8lb but my body is changing so much. Tops are hanging off me. My arms no longer touch my hips, which is amazing. I look forward to any other progress that is to come.

I do snack a bit but I have noticed that I sometimes default to the healthy option, which is crispbread with a bit of pastrami or ham or cheese. I do get hungry and I can't tolerate the feeling and snack.

I’ve done the same for month 2, hoping I won’t regret it!

@goldylocks No magic potion. I do retain a bit more than usual too. It's probably still a stress response. I pee an awful lot and am not sure I can keep up with water and electrolytes intake. My lower legs always feel a bit full now.
