First order started with Bolt

And I feel so nervous 😔 and almost as if it's not going to happen?
I ordered through Bolt Pharmacy and have completed enrolment, says it's at the review stage now. Should it be straightforward now? Or any potential to run into problems?

I have also just started the process with Bolt

I ordered via Bolt last month, was pretty straightforward/quick. If you've submitted your ID, photos etc there shouldn't be any issues.

I think they’re off today due to bank hols being New Year’s Day but back in operation tomorrow, so I’m hoping I’m approved then!

I'm an over thinker at the best of times but hope this is a good decision

I asked my DH to take them for me 🤣 I looked interesting let’s put it that way - not flattering in the slightest. He’s a lovely man saying he thought I looked fine. For reference my hair is chucked up in a bun and I’ve got a bodysuit top tucked into sweaty Betty leggings and fluffy grey slippers on 🤣🤣

Would be interested to hear how Bolt are with the assessments etc as I was going to potentially use them next. I have most recently used Lotus and Pharmacy 2u and they were so quick at doing the reviews.

I use Bolt, have had 3 pens from them now. I find them very quick and efficient and much simpler to get started with than Pharmacy 2u, who are the other company I have used.

The videos for pharmacy 2u were a bit awkward but they approved in minutes and for reorder I only had to fill the form in. Bolt have great offers so will probably use them next.

Is it quick from approval to delivery?

Yes, no video with Bolt that I can remember just photos. Those videos were so tricky (for me anyway). And yes from approval to delivery was next day twice and second day once.

I am really hoping I get approved tomo. How long is it for delivery once you are approved ?

I was approved within the hour and received my first pen a day and a half later, on a Sunday via courier. Every other pen has arrived next day. Once via Royal Mail once via courier on Christmas Eve.

They’re closed on NYD though and I applied today. So I hope I hear tomo.

Not to derail but I had to do the video for pharmacy2u about 6 times!! You have to do a fair few things and kept running out of time - they don't give you long but were super speedy and efficient after that!!

Same, I just seemed to have a complete brain block but once I actually did it then wondered why I found it so hard 🙈 I was dreading having to do it again on reorder but didnt need to.

Anyway op it's very exciting that you are (hopefully) starting but pretty common to be nervous. I was ridiculously so! But now I have no regrets and look forward to jabbing day!

@Howmuchhowlong I was nervous but mostly excited, I literally got the parcel and jabbed straight out the box 😂 best decision I have made.

Hi Can I ask how much first dose cost with Bolt.
I can't seem to find prices from different suppliers unless I go through a whole registration process .

I have done my first order with Bolt this evening. Just need to upload my full body photos and will do that in the morning. However, I have just realised the receipt shows that they haven’t given me the first time discount. I didn’t notice that when I checked out and purchased. 😓

@bookwormcrazy Ring them tomorrow and see if you can cancel the order, then reorder it. If they won't cancel the order, just don't submit your photos, they'll have to refund you if they can't fulfill it.

That’s a good idea, thanks. I have sent a WhatsApp message so I won’t do the photos until they have replied or I have spoken to them. I’m in no rush as I don’t want to do the 1st injection until the 15th.

Does anyone know if bolt supplies the needles or whether we have to buy those separately?

Bolt will supply the needles. They don't send a sharps bin though so it's worth picking one of those up from somewhere else.
