First order started with Bolt

And I feel so nervous 😔 and almost as if it's not going to happen?
I ordered through Bolt Pharmacy and have completed enrolment, says it's at the review stage now. Should it be straightforward now? Or any potential to run into problems?

I paid £104 for first order of mounjaro with Bolt. The approval email is in so it's waiting for delivery now!

First dose with bolt was £49.99 for me

Did you have a code to get that price please?

@Maverick66 use the monj website to compare prices...

Also mine is Wegovy. It’s more cost effective for me this way

My mum uses Bolt and she has found them to be very efficient . They always answer her emails quite quickly and the medication is dispatched quickly

cobblers00 · 04/01/2026 21:32

I use Bolt. Very easy & efficient. They also responded quickly when I had a query on taking the medication. Was bit of a killer when second order leapt up to £169 but I couldn’t be bothered to shop round - I might this time though.

Flowers999 · 04/01/2026 21:34

You will smash it 💪 I've been on MJ for 12 months and am 7 stone lighter. The best decision ever.

Howmuchhowlong · 04/01/2026 21:48

My order is coming on Tuesday 😊

I used Bolt once, but they didn’t respond to messages so I switched to someone else. I’ve jumped about a lot after three months with Voy at first.

PeonyPatch · 06/01/2026 00:25

Am still waiting to hear. Not impressed with the response time! I’m considering switching if I don’t hear back in the next 48hrs

Shmoigel · 08/01/2026 19:10

I have been with Bolt since July 2024 and they have been fantastic. 6 stone down and I have been maintaining for 6 months now. If you need any support or advice pop me a PM x

Great to hear a positive review, and someone else is in same boat @PeonyPatch
It took ages for my photos to be accepted, with far too many retakes 🤣
I'm an over thinker at the best of times but hope this is a good decision

I was a bit frustrated with the retakes at first but I genuinely believe they are very ethical and want to ensure they are prescribing only to those who are eligible.
I know one or two friends who have got it from god only knows where as they only had a few pounds to lose at most!

Thanks so much, and that's an amazing review! My pen came earlier in the week so planning first injection tomorrow, the thought of any weight loss is exciting, but 6 stone and maintaining is a huge achievement!

I’m with MedExpress but thinking of shopping around next time. If you go with a new supplier such as Bolt do you need to do photos again as I will be hopefully below the qualifying BMI so worried I would be refused.

Gingercar · 09/01/2026 23:08

I’ve used a few suppliers, including Bolt, and they’ve all wanted photos for a first order.

WhoInvitedHer · 09/01/2026 23:13

So how does that work if you are below qualifying BMI?

SilenceInside · 09/01/2026 23:22

You just show proof of your previous prescription. The criteria is to start the medication, you don’t need to stay in the obese range to continue to take the medication.

WhoInvitedHer · 09/01/2026 23:25

Ah ok so you only provide new photos if you don’t have a previous recent prescription?

SilenceInside · 09/01/2026 23:26

No, you always need to do new photos. You just would also provide evidence of your previous prescription.
