Is there one yet? If not, should this be it? I’m starting tonight, so officially November, but hey! Am so nervous, woke up early this morning with anxiety. Would love tips from anyone who has started before on what / how to eat on first few days..I’m really concerned about debilitating side effects- should you just listen to your body or force yourself to eat chicken?! I keep seeing all these insta posts about eating protein!!

@cobblers00 Yes, I feel a bit happier and generally brighter, and am more on top of things. It's lovely!

I’m feeling a bit pissed of this morning.
I lost 5lb week one.
2lb week 2.
1lb week 3.
And I haven’t lost anything in the last fortnight.
Annoying because I’ve had similar weight loss in the past without paying £130 per month.
Im due to take my 6th dose on Saturday, has anybody slowed down like I have? What are your thoughts, is it putting you off reordering?

Yes, I’ve had no appetite suppression for the last two weeks. Very hungry today :( I’ve polished off the last of the mince pies

PersephoneSmith · 08/01/2026 22:02

Foodylicious · 07/01/2026 18:06

Well Im pleased to say the nausea is now pretty much non existent.
Scales have also shifted a bit again, so now 7lbs down from starting 3.5 weeks ago.
Appetite suppression is working well.

That’s good. I need to read positive posts to keep me motivated!

cobblers00 · 08/01/2026 22:31

What dose are you on @PersephoneSmith? Might you need to go up if no suppression?

OP posts:
Margaritawithlime · 09/01/2026 08:31

Morning all. Checking in here without much change. I’m gaining and losing the same flipping two pounds pretty much daily. I shouldn’t weigh every day and am determined to have a week off that after my ‘official’ weigh in tomorrow. Have also decided if I haven’t shifted by next Saturday week, I’ll go up to 7.5. Didn’t want to do that so early as I’d financially hoped I could stay on 5 for a bit longer but if it’s not ‘working’ and my suppression is gone I’ll need to switch something up. Still keeping on! Keeping my cals to 1300-1500 daily, lots of water, making sure I prioritise whole foods and healthier choices. No booze for Jan. Hopefully something moves along soon.

yes, I will take my 7th dose of 2.5 mounjaro on Monday. I will get a 5 ml pen next time. I thought it was a good plan to stay on 2.5 for another month because of the migraines but I am regretting it now.

user1479317972 · 09/01/2026 13:05

Hi anyone staying on 2.5 for a second month? I find the food suppression is working ok on this dose at the moment for at least the first 4 /5 days. Also any recommendations for who to use. I ordered through IQ Doctor the first time but think I could have got a lot cheaper. But want good service too ? Thanks

@Margaritawithlimeim not budging on scales day by day but week by week my body is definitely changing.. I’ve seen lots of insta posts explaining why weighing scales can be disheartening, are you losing inches? Our bodies hold on to water & muscle is heavy, but you can still be losing fat without the scales showing it. Apparently a squishy body is a sign! Are you feeling different? On that calorie deficit something must be happening!

I am about to start my second month on 2.5 and have no reason to change yet.

Hahaha I’ve always got a squishy body! 🤗
im almost positive I’ve lost inches (measure and weigh on Saturday) I can really feel it this week. I have faith. It flickers but remains. Something has to give and I am resolute that it won’t be me. Plus I’ve lost 18 lbs in 6 weeks so to be frankly honest my body probably needs a bit of time to catch up. Having to do a lot of mental work - which is no bad thing.

StrongGirlsLift · 10/01/2026 08:56

That’s phenomenal @Margaritawithlime, 18lbs, well done - keep on keeping on! I think we just have to look at successes over time.

Weigh in for me.
Week 7:
SW: 74kg
CW: 70.12kg (5% of weight lost)
GW: 55kg?
I’m on Wegovy 0.5, took jab 3 of this dose last night.

Loss this week 1.1kg. Overall, I’ve lost 3cm on my waist, 2cm on my hips, 3cm on one thigh but only 1cm on the other! Nothing on arms (but I weight lift heavy). definitely looking leaner in my face too. We’ve had lots of snow and slush so I haven’t been out walking all that much.

Side effects are easing, though I have had a lot of headache and migraine for the last month. I have heartburn.

One thing I can’t avoid is that I need only small meals if I am going to lose weight. I am serving smaller portions and not finishing them. This is a bit alarming to think about in the long run, but I need to get there first!

good luck all, how are you doing?

Gardener82 · 10/01/2026 10:31

Weighed in this morning and another loss.
SW 185lb
CW 174lb
GW 140lb
For 5 weeks that’s not bad considering it was Christmas.
Also did some measurements, and I’ve lost loads!
6 inches around my stomach.
4 inches around my bra line.
2.5 inches around my bum.
2.5 inches of my upper arm.
2.5 inches on my thigh.
2 inches around my neck.
I also out of curiosity tried on a button up top that I haven’t been able to do the last few buttons up on since 2022 and it fit!

I need some help, anyone used bolt pharmacy? I’ve just paid and it says you have to complete further steps before the medication is sent out but I can’t work out how? It’s directed me to link which has saved my details for any further payments but when I go into the Bolt home page to continue it says I need to verify my email which I have done and directs me back to this link page not the Bolt website. They’ve taken the money and now I’m thinking I won’t get the meds if I don’t complete ?

I was thinking how to manage this long term. I can’t afford to take Mounjaro forever.
Ive been calorie on this, which I’m going to have to carry on doing and I’m also thinking of trying intermittent fasting long term.

Is it your first order?
I haven’t used Bolt before but when I did my first order I had to send of my information and payment and it said “under review” for a couple of days before it was approved.

Yes I’ve just completed it, stupid me didn’t check my junk and all the link emails had gone into there. It’s now under review

StrongGirlsLift · 10/01/2026 11:44

Thanks! And good point. I’ve done IF before and didn’t lose any weight, but I didn’t gain, so that’s a manageable strategy for maintenance I think. I’ve done it all over the years - I have been stressing about my weight since I was eight!

I was supposed to have a match this morning but it was called off, so an elliptical session for me and some weights.

cobblers00 · 10/01/2026 11:58

@Gardener82thats brilliant. It’s such a great feeling isn’t it! Very motivating too. What dose are you on now?

It is! I’m on 5mg now.
I’m not getting any bad side effect apart from my hair.
I am noticing strands coming out when I’m washing, but that might have always happened and I’m just more focused on it now.

MJbum · 10/01/2026 15:28

Can I join after lurking?

started 29 December so only just in time. (I was actually 86kg on my consultation call early Dec, but got terrible flu, so started a few weeks later than planned and a couple of kgs down!)

SW 83kg
CW 81kg
GW 65kg

jab 3 taken today. I’ve been extreeeemely tired weeks 1 and 2 in a very offputting way, like I almost can’t cope, but so pleased with how it makes me feel about food itself… Can eat but don’t want snacks or sugar, which were my total downfall. So sticking with it.
