We have all been on for heading up to 17mths now- we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

most of us are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it
And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did

Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots - I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This next year will almost be harder.

To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely

only 2 words to say 😂😂

I've had so many decades of trying to make the numbers on the scale go down that I didn't consider trying to deliberately make them go up! 2 books and a full bottle of wine and they went up slightly and seem stuck there. Ive put them away, will concentrate on eating well, and not too much, and wait to see the damage when I'm back home. No point in stressing about it on holiday.

Very true, and don’t forget all scales Weigh differently

And the full bottle of wine was IN THE BOTTLE, not in me Grin

20bloodypounds · 06/02/2026 14:37

I was OK to accept whatever number was on the scale (knowing that it's only an arbitrary number), but it was the lack of any variation that indicated that something wasn't right. Or maybe my scales at home are tempramental. In the morning they're refeshed and happy for me to step on and off, but in the evening they're tired and complaining that I'm squishing them! And give me a big grumpy reading.

Enjoy.. I an in Lanzarote this week xx

I almost went there but got a lovely deal.

I'm loving wearing little shorts, or strappy sundresses. What confidence MJ has given us 60+ year olds!

Nah I am just moaning about typing it in, I had my jeans on today and they were slightly snug but okay so a wee few pounds off and I will be fine. I do need to up the activity levels.
It will be a last resort before I get a pen, I can't justify the cost just now x

Are you ever not on Holiday @Azuresky68😛😛😛

I wasn't going to mention it this time..felt a bit guilty as I know quite a few people in the group work and have children at school. I am doing it while I still can and while my OH is able to. Always get a bargain though!

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/02/2026 13:01

I don’t think I will ever live with a man again. Def not while mini blondes is little

@Azuresky68 Tenerife. Relaxing and enjoying the warmth. I bought a dress today, fabulously floaty. 2 years ago I'd have been hiding under a kaftan and sitting under a sun umbrella so I didn't have to get my body exposed in the sunlight. Now I'm in shorts, and buying clothes that show off my slim legs and make me feel good. Photos not great, I'm here on my own and struggling with selfies!

@Blondeshavemorefun I have a lovely dh, 2nd time around (many more times if you count the horrors in between!) but I am thoroughly enjoying a solo break in the sunshine. It's great that relationships can be so much more fluid and flexible than they used to be. You'll find your person... In the meantime practice being the YOU you are, and want to be. It will stand you in good stead.

20bloodypounds · 08/02/2026 18:25

Oh, and when I saw the nice dress the Medium size had some staining on the neck. My default was to take the L to try on. There was no S, but there was an extra small.

The lovely shop lady looked me up and down and looked at the 2 sizes I had. Shook her head and said "too big, too small". She took the M to try and clean it. Meanwhile I tried on the L. tbh honest I would have bought it. It was a bit loose around the back and too big on my shoulders. But you know, I'm used to that.

Then I tried on the extra small. I almost danced out of the changing room (actually I sort of did). It fitted perfectly. And I had to show the assistants that underneath I was still wearing my t-shirt and shorts. What a moment.

Like all things, a size is only the size it is when it fits you. But I am very happy (and extra small) bunny tonight!

This is my second marriage. My first husband died and then I met number two and he’s an alcoholic And therefore divorcing

I have to keep telling myself it wasn’t all bad. He Made mevery happy after my first husband died.

But I couldn’t put up with his addiction. I don’t think I would’ve lost the weight if I was still with him

because only me now I have to make sure I’m the best Parentfor my daughter and that meant losing weight and being healthy

There is no way I will get married at third time

Morning!

Jab day today, ive apparently gained three pounds over the weekend. I haven’t, I has a chicken kebab on Saturday and roast gammon last night, so I know it will all be fluid retention and things.

im going to draw out whatever is left in my pen, which won’t be a full dose and then inject 7.5 on Friday to move my jabs. I definitely want a higher suppression over the weekend and this lower dose I’m really noticing the ends of the weeek are harder. I tracked my calories and it should have been under maintenance so I expect the scales to drop back over the next couple of days.

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/02/2026 09:32

Sorry for gain but sure it will be off next week esp if water /salt

tho I often have a roast dinner and doesn’t make a diff

OP posts:
FurForksSake · 09/02/2026 09:43

@Blondeshavemorefun it was very salty gammon..: I’m also a weekly roaster. It was the kebab. It was chicken doner and Salad, but the amount of fat in chicken doner is probably really high. Very hard to track. I did eat a shed load of salad with it.

i have just had a toilet trip and I feel there may be another to come, so that will be 1lb I hope.

I am trying to be level headed about it, but the lower dose is definitely not as easy as 12 was.
