We have all been on for heading up to 17mths now- we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

most of us are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it
And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did

Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots - I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This next year will almost be harder.

To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely

only 2 words to say 😂😂

I wonder if Oushk will still have all my information and I can save time and do a short video its been a while since I ordered. September was it? Xxx

I think so. They still have info on my bonus points from August

NippyNinjaCrab · 30/01/2026 18:27

Soooo, my desperate dan bowl of bran flakes is between 120-150g. 5 times the portion size of 30g which is 107 calories. Add the milk on, blueberries and cranberries its a huge breakfast. I have always had a massive breakfast on MJ, but now I dont have the power to eat less after that.

Azuresky68 · 30/01/2026 18:35

I asked my friend Chat GPT about weight gain after Christmas/Holidays and maintaining. He/She/They was/were very helpful. Suggestions advised might not be what we all do in the same way..some weigh daily, some weigh weekly.
Just thought I would show you the final checklist. Outcomes are based on how much detail you give.
Long-Term Weight Maintenance Checklist
(Designed for holidays, scale awareness, and Mounjaro support)

  1. My Stable Weight Range
Target range: 117–121 lb Anything inside this range = success Brief rises after holidays or low-activity weeks are expected
  1. Medication Plan
Current dose: 7.5 mg Long-term goal: 5 mg maintenance I will trial 5 mg only when: ☐ I am home (not just returned from holiday) ☐ Walking/activity is back to normal ☐ Weight has been 117–121 lb for 2 consecutive weeks 3. Calorie Framework Normal maintenance (default): 1,350–1,450 kcal Temporary phase only if: Weight more than 122 lb for 3 consecutive weeks → Then eat ~1,250 kcal until back in range 4. Scale Rules (Non‑Negotiable) Weigh 2–3 times per week Look at the weekly average, not single numbers No weighing for 5 days after holidays I only take action if: Weekly average more than 122 lb for 3 weeks in a row Anything else = food noise, water, or routine change 5. Holiday Eating Rules (Built‑In, No Guilt) 2 meals per day - that's my choice not Chat GPT telling me what to do. Sensible restaurant choices - my choice Walk daily (~4 miles) Alcohol allowed (within my usual limits) On return: No restriction Resume normal eating Let weight settle for 10–14 days 6. If Food Noise Increases (Especially on 5 mg) Step 1 (always first): Increase calories toward 1,450 kcal Step 2 (only after 4–6 weeks if needed): Consider dose adjustment (e.g. back to 7.5 mg) This is adjustment, not failure 7. Red Flags (Do NOT Ignore) Dropping calories "just in case" Feeling anxious about normal hunger Reacting to one scale reading Trying to compensate for holidays If I notice these → return to the checklist 8. Core Reminder
  1. I lost 35 lb after decades of struggle. This system exists to protect that success.
  2. Consistency > perfection Routine > reaction
I think this is really useful for me 😀
FurForksSake · 30/01/2026 18:40

That’s really useful and measured, I like it.

I found it reassuring as I panic when I am not at my preferred weight of 8 stone 5 pounds = 117 pounds ..currently 121 pounds 😫

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/01/2026 18:50

Oh I like that bundle of blonde bombshell 😂😂

n one actually has 30g. I usually have 45/60 and count double

do you not fancy eggs ? Ommlette or pork fridge?

lunch. Dry cardboard 🙀🙀😂😂

nothing wrong with a slice of bread or corn beef. I eat both

I still take 4 co codimal but cut down from 8 and now 750 instead of 1000 naproxen

thanks @FurForksSake. So £25 diff but maybe getting 7.5 will be easier ordering as 10 will be 2.5mth

yes they should have info

Oh o didn’t see this when I replied

that’s a lot of cereal and calories. You must find something better as half you days calories are on breakie

maybe your body prefers you at 8s 9 @Azuresky68

FurForksSake · 30/01/2026 19:01

Could you use the bran flakes and make it a yoghurt bowl? Microwave some blueberries so they go a bit saucy, big dollop or two or low fat Greek, portion of bran flakes? Add a sliced apple to fill you up?

FurForksSake · 30/01/2026 19:02

I know that a pill form might be cheaper, but k love that we can count clicks and make it flexible.

i tracked all my calories for the day, and came in at maintenance. So that’s ok.

NippyNinjaCrab · 30/01/2026 20:14

@Blondeshavemorefun wtf is a pork fridge for breakfast haha!

@FurForksSake I love yoghurt too, I think i will swap the milk for yoghurt, add 30g bran flakes and add a portion of blueberries for next week. Also maybe alternate and do an overnight oats too.

I am 100% an emotional eater! But I have our anniversary on 28th February so that is a good goal for some pounds off initially. I think even if I lose some I will still get a pen. X

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/01/2026 20:15

Oh. Porridge 😂

NippyNinjaCrab · 30/01/2026 20:15

@Azuresky68 I checked Oushk and I have points there too, so I can book a video consultation x

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/01/2026 20:15

Then get a pen now if you se hoping to get one anyway at end of Feb

help yourself

Yes you mentioned them to someone..I was in Lidl but decided not to get any because although I like them unless I have protein...usually eggs, I am hungry by 11 am !

Love it too...did you get salmon from Aldi plus a nice pack of savoury rice? I cook salmon in air fryer with soy sauce. Add lots of veg to the rice 😀

But Blondes I prefer me at 8st 5 pounds!
You are very straight talking Blondes which I like a lot and I have to say I agree about bran flake portion size...I love them too but an omelette is more filling don't you think? Sorry @NippyNinjaCrab ...but at least you are aware of what you are doing and if it works for you then that's fine 🙂
I have used up at least 200 calories on 2 glasses of lovely red wine 🍷 so who am I to say how to use your calories! Then I moan about being stuck on my weight, then I feel guilty for drinking...but I am still a size 6 on top and 8 in jeans 😀👍🍷😁 Happy Friday and thank goodness for Mounjaro!

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/01/2026 21:24

Im blunt and very black and white

so if your clothes fit and tbh a 6 is wow

so go by clothes and not weight

its 4 lbs. A big poo baby could shift that 😂

You are so funny and I love black and white! I tried the poo thing (lactulose) no difference! Worked out my average calories over the week including the 2 mini bottles of wine tonight and my weekly average cals is around 1200 but no exercise this week. Going to stop worrying now..PS got a white bikini in the ASOS sale...never wore bikinis since I was 19 until I lost the weight and I am 69 now and finally happy..never too late 😅😅😅
