We have all been on for heading up to 17mths now- we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

most of us are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it
And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did

Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots - I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This next year will almost be harder.

To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely

only 2 words to say 😂😂

Good morning Auggies!

Just popping in to say hi. I'm feeling back in the game after 10 days of eating not very well over Xmas and New Year. I'm thinking about why for over a week I went into "fuck it" mode. I honestly half the time wasn't even enjoying what I was eating (apart from the Haribos).

I tried one of the m and s nutrient dense meals yesterday - they have been designed specifically for people on WLI. My opinion is that they probably aren't much different to other high protein ready meals out there 😬.

Really useful to read about the posters maintaining.

@PoemsForTea I still have weight to lose as well! Around 3 stone. I can see it taking me until the end of the year as losing slowly now but I will keep going. I've had to think of MJ as just being an essential non-negotiable cost for my health. I am still on 15 mg. When I tried to go down to 12.5 I felt very hungry.

NippyNinjaCrab · 08/01/2026 09:02

@morbidcuriosity no I haven't, I will get a box today as I am out that way, thank you. I do have a double portion as the recommended is like 5 flakes 😂 i like them with yoghurt too. I do like soggy bran flakes though. X

FurForksSake · 08/01/2026 09:53

Morning! Bran flakes sound good, I might get some too.

I braved the scales and have lost 5lbs of my six apparently gained over Christmas. Phew! I’m sure the last one will go too, but I’m not bothered by that. I was going to wait until tomorrow and was only hoping for stable so this whoosh is very pleasing. I’ve been pee-ing and drinking loads and it does seem to have helped.

20bloodypounds · 08/01/2026 13:16

I have discovered (after 3 years of saying 'yuk, will never eat that') that I actually like chia pudding. I make a pot at the beginning of the week with 2 tbs of chia seeds, a couple of pots of natural benecol (or you could use flavoured), some yogurt, usually a bit of water, or some kefir. And some frozen berries. Then I have a tiny bowl each day topped with a mix of seeds and nuts. I make the seed and mut mixture and it lasts for about 4 weeks - toasted coconut, pumpkin seeds, blitzed hazelnuts / almonds / walnuts / pistachios, and any other seedy type things I have in my cupboard.

A small amount is enough, it keeps me full all morning, and it keeps me regular.

FurForksSake · 08/01/2026 13:21

Ooh I might attempt that, when you say pots what size? The individual or big pots?

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/01/2026 16:29

@Motnight which meal Did you have ?
i do eat a lot of micro meals with veg as quick and easy esp on a work day

once you lost weight will you reduce or stay on a high dose @Motnight

yes 30g is pathetic @NippyNinjaCrab if any cereal

@FurForksSake well done. I said it wasn’t a true gain

@20bloodypounds is it like mice pudding ? I like that

Motnight · 08/01/2026 17:22

@Blondeshavemorefun I had the Romesco Chicken. It was nice!

Ideally I want to follow your pattern of reducing. But I am at heart a greedy person so not sure whether that will work.

FurForksSake · 08/01/2026 17:22

We all love a bit of mice pudding!

morbidcuriosity · 08/01/2026 17:40

Just wondering what to have for dinner.. mice pudding could be a first. Haha.. love your auto correct.

So a week on 2.5

I hav def had more food noise with crisps /biscuits and chocolates

I always have 3 meals but been more snacks this week

not sure if in my mind as dropped to 2.5 or that it’s real

scales will tell

i hover between 10.4/10.7 usually 10. 5/6 Never been 10.8 but Also have had 10.2 which I feel is too skinny for me so need to find happy weight

OP posts:
FurForksSake · 08/01/2026 22:33

I think somehow January is more snack heavy than December. Lots of wanting to finish things up or having different bits in.

Hoping you’ll find some balance and you’ll be a 2.5 gal for life.

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/01/2026 04:28

Yes @FurForksSake. Lots of biscuits left

I’ve always liked crisps an Even now I will still have daily but I’m not a real Chocolate fan unless Maltese’s or mint cock bars but seem to be eating it

maybe 2.5 wasn’t best idea in jan but I already delays from Dec

think I who’s ideally want to be off it as it’s obv a huge cost but do I stay on 2.5/5 if keeps me in my ballpark

or do I totally come off.

ahhhh. I don’t know and 4am pondering aren’t good

Oh nooo. Hopefully at least half a stone will come off fast as it's post Christmas and NY weight. Well done for stepping onto scales though. I have been away for a month..still jabbing 7.5 and even so I think I will have gained due to daily 🍷🥂🍹🍻🍾

Azuresky68 · 09/01/2026 09:11

Morning all...2 days left of my trip. Escaping Christmas food was a great relief. Still been jabbing 7.5. Walked an average of 4 miles a day for a month but it's more about calories consumed which I havent counted at all. Best of luck to everyone in 2026 with weight loss and maintenance. I am going to try very hard to delay my weigh in until next Friday. Will catch up on the thread now and will be back to report progress. I am in it for the long haul so will keep posting in this group as it's been my lifeline! Thanks to one and all and here's to continuing our journey in 2026 xx

Azuresky68 · 09/01/2026 09:13

1clavdivs · 09/01/2026 09:56

Ive gained another 1lb! That’s 4lbs now since before Christmas having moved down to 7.5mg. I’m well within maintenance calories. What’s going on???
