Hello,

I've started on Wegovy this morning, 7 stone to lose until a healthy weight and have never managed to achieve this in my adult life.

Anyone else starting today/this month?

Oh yes please @SaltwaterSwimmer and @Tashxt85! I have had a headache all day today but couldn't tell you if it's connected or I need to drink some more water. How are you feeling @Tashxt85?

Try drinking water, or having an electrolyte drink. This helped me!

Thanks @BoyMama37, I've really upped my water and I think that's helping. Are you on Wegovy too?

How's everyone doing?

I had awful headaches Sunday to today felt like it was turnibg into a migraine yesterday but actually didn't, I was drinking 2 litres of water but think I needed more. From late this afternoon I have felt so much better. I am on MJ. I am prone to headaches though so I am not surprised. I have so many triggers for migraines but dehydration is always one.

That sounds painful @SexyFrenchDepression, glad more water is helping to keep the migraines at bay. How long have you been on MJ?

I'm really upping my water intake but no other symptoms yet really.

@Wishfulshrinker25 started Saturday morning. Headache has completely gone now which is good.

I have almost complete appetite suppression which is amazing so early, I have to force myself to eat, I am hungrier in the mornings but not really fancying anything. I don't want dinner at all.

I had awful upset stomach in the early hours but seem ok tonight. Its hard to explain how it is making me feel but basically a feeling of adrenaline constantly.

@SexyFrenchDepression, I'm glad you're feeling better, sorry to hear about the upset stomach.
I've been feeling so hungry today, wonder if it's only going to get worse til the end of the week and my next injection, but really hoping today is a one off!

Thank you. I guess I prefer that symptom than constipation that though😂

I am taking dose 2 tomorrow (day early as I feel Fridays will suit me better) I feel like I could enjoy eating more today but not necessarily more hungry. Went out for dinner for my dad's birthday, had chicken shashlik and 2 poppadoms, slither of cake I had made. Didn't eat much during the day so still relatively low calories and carbs.

The appetite suppression is strange as there are times I feel hungry/empty but I dont feel like eating.

@SexyFrenchDepression, I wonder if that's an MJ thing as I'm finding the suppression isn't great yet. Might be the low dosage or my body taking time but it seems to vary from day to day.

I had a bottomless brunch yesterday and made sensible choices for both food and drink but had a mega snack attack in the evening and no nutritional value. I jabbed a day early as I'm away for the weekend so hopefully will reset today 🤞🤞🤞How are you getting on @Tashxt85 and @SaltwaterSwimmer?

@Wishfulshrinker25 weirdly someone else described it like the nervous feeling in their stomach too. I do seem to have decent appetite suppression since jab 2 so far also.

I imagine I hit at least 1000 calories yesterday due to bottomless brunch but probably due to mocktails and the juice in them. All I ate was a small amount of katsu curry plus 2 cocktails and 1 cocktail. Other than that I had a protein shake for breakfast. All other days ive been at 500-800 cals but I was busy last week in the evenings so I know this week I will be home for dinner so will be eating better.

Hi, can I join? Mines is in the fridge ready to take Tuesday evening as I am WFH the remainder of the week as of Wednesday. I was really unwell on MJ and made me feel pretty low. Gave up after 3 weeks at the start of the year. Decided to try this.

Did you all eat clean the day or so before injecting? I plan to do so tomorrow and Tuesday.

I didnt clean eat in the run up but am trying to keep on top of it now. It's too much money for me to not see results!

@Wishfulshrinker25I didn’t start last week as planned… I’d read too much about side effects 🙄 and as I had a full-on week (and weekend) at work ahead I was a bit worried I’d have a terrible headache!
I have the next few days off so I’m going start tonight.
I’ve lost just over 2 stone in the last 7 weeks without the medication but I’m really struggling with the constant thoughts about food so hope this will help! 🤞🏻

First one done last night, slept fine and woke up okay. Don't feel any difference just yet. I don't normally eat in the morning anyway so nothing new. See how the day goes.

How is everyone else getting on?

I took my first one on Monday night. No side effects so far and I’d convinced my self it wasn’t working but I had lunch earlier and felt like I was forcing it down so not sure if that’s what it’s doing?

Are you both on Wegovy @Loveab123 and @SaltwaterSwimmer? From what I understand MJ feels instant but I definitely didnt feel that way on Wegovy.

10 days in and I definitely feel like I have a bit more of a handle on food. Weighed myself today and had lost 5lbs, even with a particularly greedy weekend. Feeling good about that so spurred on a bit but hoping I might feel more of a suppression with the higher dose with my next pen.

@Wishfulshrinker25Well done on the 5lbs! Seeing the numbers on the scales go down definitely motivates you to carry on doesn’t it?!
Yes, I’m on Wegovy… I think, after everything I’ve tried in the past, I was hoping for a bit of a miracle cure 🙄 but I’m not sure I’ve felt much effect so far.

Well done! That's amazing considering you are still being able to eat. Yes trying wegovy as MJ made me really unwell and depressed. I don't want to have the feeling of not being able to eat at all so I'm happy if it stops me snacking and over eating at meal times.

Quick question, do you prep the pen every time you jab? I read a post on a forum that someone was using the pen wrongly and wasn't actually injecting anything and it's got me worried haha!

I know what you mean by a miracle cure @SaltwaterSwimmer - it definitely hasn't felt that way for me yet! Hopefully you'll feel it soon!

Yep @Loveab123, I'm with you, dont want it to be a quick fix (meaning then I put all the weight back on in the future) but seeing it as a tool to help with snacking and stopping the overeating.

What a nightmare about not injecting anything! I've prepped it every time so far but have only done 2 jabs!

I just did my first jab 20 mins ago. Was so surprised that I barely even felt it! Felt like it hadn’t actually gone in!

was so anxious before. Can’t believe I’ve actually done it !

I felt the same, I have honestly found it the most amazing thing and wonder why I didnt try this before! For me it was finding someone who I trust who is taking it so that gave me the confidence to give it a go.

Same @diggitydoo and @SexyFrenchDepression, deliberated over it for so long, had it in my fridge for a week and no pain at all!
