We have all been on for over a year now

Last month the year before , we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

Some are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it
And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did

Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots - I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

Blowing baby dust your way to those who are ttc

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This year will almost be harder. To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely

@owlyboo such nice weather at the moment. Whereabouts was your walk?

owlyboo · 25/09/2025 22:36

In my town in Devon @Azuresky68but I took a turn I’ve never taken before (only lived here just over two years) and I literally had no idea where I was 🤣 Google maps to the rescue.

I LOVE this weather. So nice to walk in although I did have a fleece on today and ended up having to strip down to my leggings and vest… god knows what people must have thought that saw me 🤣

Azuresky68 · 26/09/2025 07:58

@owlyboo how nice. It's glorious walking weather isn't it 🍁🌞🍁🌞

WWJ and I am starving this morning

ready brek before bootcamp

Gone to 7.5 this week so will be interesting how hunger goes this week and pain

in happy to be more hungry as struggling to eat 1800 a day and last few days I’m eating cock bar to get in the cals

not the best diet lol

anyway I’ve gained a lb. Which is good as trying to , as 7s loss is too much for me and I don’t want to be almost 10s

im back to 10.6 - which seems to be around my mark 10.5 - 10.7 but now down a dose will be interesting if go nearer 11 - which was my goal and I’m way under half stone less then it without even trying

Azuresky68 · 26/09/2025 08:45

@Blondeshavemorefun another cock bar 😅😱😅

Azuresky68 · 26/09/2025 08:58

Good morning all 😊🍁🌞 @Blondeshavemorefun I find it takes at least 24 hours or more for jab to kick in. Would you have ever believed that you would be trying to gain weight?!

I have been maintaining for a while between 8 stone 5 and 8 stone 7. 18 day holiday starts on Sunday with my favourite travel companion ❤️ Exciting to pack with some new Temu dresses and Tik Tok shorts, plus a few Vinted items.
Next jab will be 10, although I will top it up with what's left in my 12 5, or maybe extract from 12 5 then reduce number of twists in new 10 pen 🤔

Update on pain relief - Naproxan just didn't agree with me at all and didn't seem to help.
I have an appointment with my GP today to discuss other options of medication. Long term or possibly sooner my best option is to have an implant to control pain...no idea how long the wait will be.

Have a great weekend everyone. Let's hope the sun shines for a bit longer 😍

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/09/2025 10:48

Yes who would have thought I would went to gain a few lbs !

Will just have a mooch tonight, see where i end up. My sis is joining tomorrow and we are at Twickenham for the Womens Rugby finals - so excited!!
Then wherever the evening takes us.
Sunday morning she has booked brunch at The Ivy , Kensington - I was happy with spoons but she is not like me 😆
Then I'll probably have a wander on the south bank and a wander down the Graffitti tunnel before my train home!

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/09/2025 12:42

Is that Aldi as well @Blondeshavemorefun? I’ll need to write a list!

@PoemsForTea that sounds amazing. Have a lovely time.

thank you for all the vibes and well wishes, I’ll update you when i see the gp. Fingers crossed it’ll just be a blip on what js already a horrible year.

I’ve got a couple of NSVs this week.

I’ve bought a new cardigan from a company called Passenger, it was in the sale and they had either m or xs, I went for xs as it was an oversized fit and it fits and looks a bit oversized, so just right fit!

My wedding and engagement rings are a little loose. I had them resized when I lost weight about 8 years ago. By covid I’d regained some and stopped wearing them for injection control. And then I couldn’t get them back on! I went five years with no rings as they didn’t fit and I couldn’t bear the thought of getting them made bigger. They aren’t going to fall off, but they are a bit jangly and spin. If they become annoying I’ll get one of those rubber things.

I need to jab today, I’ll do it this evening. Day 8 today.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/09/2025 14:12

Yes @FurForksSake. Prawns in freezer. Also do Thai curry blue and feta and Tom red but I prefer the pesto and green

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/09/2025 14:14

Fab nav with rings. My wedding ring was too big as took it off as getting divirced and have my find my parents got me for my 18th and stopped wearing it years ago as too fat

i actually had to get it resized smaller to wear it so have fingers slimmer then I was 18 😇😇

Cheers @PoemsForTea I hope you had a lovely evening.

I haven't been very good at keeping up, sorry. It looks like there have been some fab (n)svs and lots of learning on maintenance.

I shuffled down to 59.5kg at this morning's weigh in. Less than when I got married as a sprightly 25 yo. I wonder if my wedding dress would fit again? t's been quite a bit drop since coming back from our summer holiday and I'm pretty sure I'm done at this weight. Work is very full on at the moment so instead of hitting the biscuit tin I've lost my appetite completely and don't have time or energy to work out a healthy dinner solution. Goal for this weekend is to search out some "I'm not hungry" healthy meal options and stock up the fridge.

Final packing this afternoon. Maintaining between 8 st 5 and 8 st 7. Hoping not to gain too much or even STS. My other half has lost 12 pounds in last couple of week by cutting out bread. He doesn't need to lose a lot...it just went on his middle. He never had a weight issue until he retired ..used to be a regular runner and worked long hours. Think he might be gluten intolerant as he feels so much better for cutting out bread 🤔

Azuresky68 · 27/09/2025 10:43

My doctor has found protein in my blood which is an indicator of kidney issues, that need to be followed up. I can't take Naproxan because of this. Switched to Amytriptoline for a month. Also found high calcium in blood about 6 months ago. Endocrinologist says I might need op on my hypothalamus gland plus bone scan to check for osteoporosis. Also linked to kidney stones I have had treated. If I hadn't had the blood tests I would have had no idea! Hopefully not falling apart yet 😅 😱😅

morbidcuriosity · 27/09/2025 11:14

Weigh in this morning at 10 stone 12. BMI 21.8 . which is what I kinda wanted.. but happy with 11 stone to try to maintain.. Still on 10mg at the moment and for some reason the supression has vamped up big time these last 2 weeks.. madness really, think this is my 4th or 5th 10mg pen..

1 thing I've found is shaving my arm pits I've noticed a few times that I've missed some hair, obviously not paying attention in the shower and forgetting how far up the arm pit bit goes. Haha.
Suppose it's a nice problem to have that I now have normal arm pits, but my previous fat body didn't have the in bits. I'm rambling but I'm sure some of you get me..
