We have all been on for over a year now

Last month the year before , we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

Some are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it
And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did

Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots - I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

Blowing baby dust your way to those who are ttc

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This year will almost be harder. To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely

@Azuresky68what lovely photos! Pain is so debilitating. I was just sat here thinking how pissed off I am that the steroid injections in my hip haven’t worked. And my sciatica is bad today.

I am researching rollator, we are going to Scotland in October and I am determined to get out and about to some degree.

I hope the fresh air has blown away some cobwebs and you’ll sleep better tonight. Amitryptiline, I think you’ve already tried? If not might be worth a chat with gp about.

@Slimhopesive just had some raspberries and a big drink. I hope the hunger passes for us both!

Thanks as always 👍 I haven't tried amaltryptiline yet. Friends came round for catch up, drinks and snacks. A couple of glasses of Rose Prosecco seemed to help!

FurForksSake · 16/09/2025 22:36

rose Prosecco sounds like a marvellous medicine!💊

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/09/2025 23:04

Bubbly is good medication

I can’t imagine every 8/10/12 days

once a week girl here

but for how long lol

It's day 8 on my last 15 mg jab. Still not hungry but had pizza last night...feels like I have a stone in my tummy 😅😫😱

Azuresky68 · 17/09/2025 07:35

@FurForksSake so frustrating not quite getting to where you wanted to... I was like that a few weeks ago so know how you feel. Have you tried cutting carbs/alcohol out for a week or so? It's not really sustainable long term but might get you there?

FurForksSake · 17/09/2025 10:01

I haven’t had alcohol since May, I’ve always felt very annoyed at being overweight and not being able to cut output alcohol calories!

im becoming resigned to maintaining at 8st9ish and being ok with jt. Jab day tomorrow and fingers crossed I have a better week.

All the best 🤞Cutting out alcohol is great. I limit it to once or twice a week, apart from holidays. You have done really well, especially when you are in such pain and can't get out and about as much as you would like. I get the frustration about a couple of pounds though. I was exactly the same and when I got to 8 st 7 wanted to lose more...so got down to 8 st 5 pounds but I can't see me staying there..as soon as I have carbs it goes up. The challenge now is to maintain 😱
On another exciting note i have just received a pair of chunky cream suede boots I ordered on Tik Tok...totally impractical but I love them!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/09/2025 11:38

Had a really long chat with Dr Amel from pharmolous Very helpful

She said I had done really well to lose almost 7s and doing the long game of slowly lowering which should help me in the long run

They don't advise to just stop as hunger will come back and likely to gain but also said they understand it's a financial thing esp with the price hike

They dont do discounts and just have a price for each dose and free p&p

Confirmed happy to use them even if I don't order for a few months as long as can show proof been using /buying elsewhere

They will support maintenance to a healthy bmi 20 but if get too low then will stop

If stop mj have a year to get back on if start gaining from the last order with them and then would start 2.5

Happy to take on new customers as long if in healthy bmi and proof have been on mj

Any queries pop them an email or go to their chat section on website

They do seem helpful and one of the lowest prices - which they are not changing. So these are set in stone and as I said previously free p&p - which arrived the next day

2.5 - 139.99
5 - 164.99
7.5 - 214.99
10 - 239.99
12.5 - 259.99
15 - 274.99

They can't agree with micro dosing 😉 as no trials but said obv some do it as buy a 10 but use it for over the 5w and don't order for 8+w then come back , so they know people do do it - just they can't agree with it

She did ask why I went up a dose monthly and I said as that's what the supplier I was with said - plus they say on go up monthly of no side effects

She said they say if losing weight and all fine and have suppression to stay on the dose

I did say I didn't really get suppression and even on 15 ate 3 meals a day but obv do eat less or wouldn't have lost almost 7s

Thanks for sharing @Blondeshavemorefunill be seriously considering switching over to them based on this. You have done amazing to have lost so much.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/09/2025 11:59

I think it’s def worth buying a pen from them to get on their books then you have the option to restart within a year if stop or buy another pen months later as long as proof used elsewhere

and no monthly fee unlike Ousch

I obv needed to lose it @FurForksSake as I was a fat fuck lol. And yes I’m allowed to say that 😛😛😛

But I could wait until December, then start ordering then? 🤞

FurForksSake · 17/09/2025 13:01

@Azuresky68im considering that. I’ve got quite the stockpile.

Yes as long as bmi is over 21 and you show proof you’ve been on mj

The oushk discount they did the other week, my order for that which is due for November was approved today. Same price as the pharmulous regular price bar a few pence. Not sure why they’ve approved it now, they’ve just approved the ones that are due next week. I’m wondering if they are very low on orders as usually they are only approved just before despatch.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/09/2025 17:28

They give £15 discount but then then add on p&p which is £7? So only a £8 saving

OP posts:
MabelSpan · 17/09/2025 17:33

Oushk have also approved mine, due at the end of Oct. Very odd for them.

PoemsForTea · 17/09/2025 17:35

I plan to use Pharmalous next as I want to get on a few books in preparation for maintenance. I've lost 4 lbs since moving up to 15mg - but it's not how I want to do it as suppression is high and I'm not eating as good a diet. I'll do it another few weeks then go back down.

Weepixie · 17/09/2025 17:45

Ladies, I know Mounjaro helps some of you with the pain you live with but can I ask without any malice intended - is getting pens in order to stockpile them so you can delay coming off Mounjaro/ never come of it really worth the anguish and stress associated with sourcing them. I ask because judging by the threads/posts on the WLI boards and elsewhere there is some very real worry going on. Just why is it so difficult for so many people to have been on the medication for a long time and be really scared to be without it? What has the last year been about?

Honestly I read the threads/posts and I genuinely get palpitations for you. Please girls, stop being so scared/dependent/mentally trapped by the medication. Be brave and tell yourselves you’ve got this. 💪🏻 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Motnight · 17/09/2025 18:26

@Weepixie for me, yes, absolutely has been worth it!

Motnight, a heartfelt question here - do you have any hope at all regarding a future without Mounjaro? It’s a drug, do you not worry about taking a medication forever, or long term, when it would be so much healthier for you if you could stop. I liken it to me having high BP before I started this, I also was prediabetic and had been told my cholesterol might have to be medicated. Now those health problems have gone and I’m so pleased but Im equally pleased I don’t have to take medications anymore. Why would we continue to take a medication when we can sort the problem it was intended to help with and not have to use it anymore? Is it not better for our health to not be on medication if we can help it? I think what’s prompted this question apart from seeing what people are going through to get the Mounjaro is reading other threads here and seeing how dependent a lot of people now are on Mounjaro mentally. Should we let ourselves develop high BP because we can take medication for it? And shouldn’t we be fighting getting fat again instead of thinking - I’ll just not stop taking Mounjaro or I’ll just go back on it if I regain weight because that’s what the medication is there for.

Im very confused by it all. Actually it’s more than that. I’m dismayed, truth be told.

FurForksSake · 17/09/2025 20:35

I have no concerns about using it in the long term, if you were prescribed it for diabetes you’d be on it very long term. With my physical condition I can’t exercise and I don’t feel that at the moment I’d be able to maintain. Definitely worth it.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/09/2025 20:52

As Above if prescribed for diabetics you would be on it for life/long term

I don’t have an issue staying on it but it’s the cost

but the pain level was lovely to not have pain. To walk up hill to school and go up my stairs at home with no pain

it’s also scary to think about gaining weight

I’ve said before that I lost 4s 20yrs ago. Swore to myself k wouldn’t get fat again. I did and gained back the 4s and gained another 2 and look back at my fat pics and I am disgusted with myself as I was slim then
