We have all been on for over a year now

Last month the year before , we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

Some are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it
And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did

Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots - I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

Blowing baby dust your way to those who are ttc

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This year will almost be harder. To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely

@20bloodypounds * Several years ago I had catastrophically high blood pressure that almost had me hospitalised*

How is your BP now?

It must have been a terrifying time for you.

I’ve been ordering again. God I’m turning into a shopaholic via Temu

have 3 weddings next year - dd big brother and sister (so ex dh kids and tech my step kids but in their 30’s) and friend

so need 3 outfits and 3 hen do outfits

I tried this on. The red/burgundy dress

NSV - Bloody loved it but was huge on me and literally fell down. It was a 12 🙀🙀

now I know I’m not a 10 at all but seem dresses are a better fit in a 10

anyway gutted they don’t have in 10 in red but do in blue so have re ordered that in a 10

I also love this but not sure if too casual for a wedding. Again this is size 10. Purple dress.
What do you think ?

The purple one is gorgeous on you and a good choice. Flowers

Azuresky68 · 14/09/2025 08:48

Morning everyone. Had lovely homemade pizza and a couple of nice drinks at my daughter's house last night. Didn't eat much before - breakfast 1 slice sourdough bread and 2 eggs with smashed avo at my other daughter's home for brunch but I couldn't eat it all. Felt so sick during the night and not great this morning but hey ho I had a lovely time and have dropped another pound. Weighing in at 8 stone 4 pounds. Definitely don't want to go lower but I know I will gain a bit on holiday as I am away for 18 days.

@Blondeshavemorefun both dresses are lovely and very different in style. I don't think you can go by size..it depends on brand and the style of the dress. The first one is slinky and sexy. If you feel great in it then definitely wear it to show off your new look. I would keep it if you feel happy and confident as it looks great on you. The burgundy one is more of an elegant look and if it makes you feel great then again wear it.
To dress them up maybe wear a nice fitted/cropped jacket.
It all depends on the type of wedding you are going to doesn't it? Is there a dress code? Nobody wore hats at my daughters wedding which I was grateful for as I really dont suit hats. My thing is shoes...will you wear heels 👠
Happy shopping 🛍 ☺️

Azuresky68 · 14/09/2025 08:58

@Blondeshavemorefun actually just had another look at the burgundy style and it's also slinky and sexy! You must get it in blue 💙 but I love the burgundy too ❤️
Three weddings and three hen do's - definitely a reason to shop!
I have been a bit obsessed with updating my wardrobe. Apart from a pair of M&S white jeans and a couple of Autumn tops most of the stuff I got on Vinted.....oh I forgot the 2 pair of boots, two pairs of shorts and a jacket from tik tok 😅
Note to self....must stop shopping now 😱

Azuresky68 · 14/09/2025 09:23

@Slimhopes been catching up this morning and read your post about your weight. When I was 21 and 5 foot the lowest I ever weighed was 7 stone 12. Never been under 9 stone for many many years. At 4 foot 11 and 69 I am 8 stone 5 pounds and don't want to go any lower.
It's a difficult one to comment on, so I am not commenting on your weight. I am a similar height to you so just talking about my own weight. We have all struggled with our weight and after losing a certain amount people might say ..don't lose anymore, you look poorly etc etc. Fortunately nobody has made any comments apart from saying I look healthy and happy.
I think it's difficult to stop looking at the scales and only feeling happy with a loss. The low end of BMI figures encourage us to be underweight in my opinion.
From my understanding being at a low weight isn't really helpful when you are older.
I hope my comments sound helpful and supportive , as that's what they are meant to be 🌷💐🌷

FurForksSake · 14/09/2025 10:06

Morning lovelies! We went to the theatre last night. I wore trousers which were at least a size too big. Never mind! Teamed with a shirt I could have got in an 8 and a size small cardigan. My mind is blown by these still. DH commented on how when people wanted to get past at the seats next to me were empty I could just turn side on and disappear. He made a comment about needing a mars bar 😆 we did have some chocolate buttons but I only ate a few.

we had dinner at home and it was burgers, when I assembled mine I immediately cut it in half, it’s become quite instinctive now to know I can’t and don’t want to eat portions that I’d have eaten in two seconds before. I did have extra onion rings though…

@Azuresky68 thank you for sharing and don’t worry, I always assume good intentions from comments 😊 helpful to think about your weight and height, I am slightly heading under 5ft now also as I’ve got spinal issues. also seen recommendations of being bmi 25-27 post 65 (I’m 54 right now so a bit to go). I think I’m a bit obsessed about it and find it hard to say enough with losing , I see people mentioning that they’re bmi for example is 20 something and I think oh maybe I should go a bit lower too😣 overall I’m starting to recognise that this weight is enough and clothes will stop hanging nicely if I lose more. My shopping is also absolutely obsessive and I realise that I’ve replaced the obsessive eating with shopping. I still have some work to do on myself clearly!

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/09/2025 11:46

@Slimhopes wearing 11/12yr clothes reads that you are very slim and 21.6 bmi so def towards low end

thanks @WitchDancer I do like the style colour fit of purple but don’t understand how it it a 10

as I know I am not a 10. Still struggled but get into 12 for jeans

@Azuresky68 being sick doesn’t sound good - I know you wanted 15 to get the extra lbs off /eat NEW’s but not if making you feel poorly 💐

the burgundy dress literally slides off /down my shoulders and boobs - it didn’t look a 12 in material. It looked huge but label said it was so ……

hence why no pic as would have been me in my bra

I’m hoping I will 1) like the blue colour 2) fit into 10

no dress code and I can’t wear heels. I’m a flat girl. Maybe inch wedge if lucky

it’s fun buying new stuff. And I’m scared to do Vinted incase looks horrible /doesn’t fit

where if returning to Temu its really simple and easy and I get refunded within a day

OP posts:
FurForksSake · 14/09/2025 11:49

@Slimhopesi also buy some kids clothes, being short really helps with the pricing. There is an m&s tracksuit for kids that is going viral with adults buying it. I’ve bought next stuff in 14-16 and it fits easily.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/09/2025 11:51

I think low end of bmi 18/20 is too low but then 24/25 means gain a kb or two and overweight

so guessing 22/23 is perfect 😂 which is 10/6 - 10.11

currently 10.5 but don’t want to be so hopefully will gain my lb again

Weepixie · 14/09/2025 11:53

@Blondeshavemorefun I had a look at your pictures and I can see why you’d think you look fat in your dress. It’s the wrong shape for you. But given the way our minds can work you immediately thought I look fat! It’s also too short. Not too short as a modesty thing of the likes. It’s just too short for the width of your hips and thighs. And I would even go as far as saying it’s half an inch too small for you on the skirt part. Also the Frill is pointing straight down to your hips and thigh so rather than draw attention away from that area - it’s pointing right to it. The frill and the top is very sexy though and it was a good choice for disguising your upper arms as well.

You have said in the past your hips aren’t your favourite part of you and I think you should try a dress that accentuates your small waist and flows over your hips and thighs in the skirt area. You could even go with a nice widish belt to cinch you in even more. Va va voom!

And the other dress? I think there are other dresses out there with your name on them ❤️

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/09/2025 11:54

@FurForksSake a nice outfit. Trousers don’t look too baggy or do you alike slim fit ?

tho again half a burger doesn’t sound very healthy /filling tho thats comparing it me who still eats 3 meals a day

@Slimhopes I think im the same for shopping for clothes v eating food tho when stuff is £4/5 including postage as i always buy £15 worth or just bung a dress for £10 on order and return it

sneaky blondes

FurForksSake · 14/09/2025 11:58

I fancied a burger, so we had burgers.

the trousers were constantly falling down, so definitely too big.

Weepixie · 14/09/2025 12:03

blondes - maybe look at Bardot style dresses with a longer fitted skirt or Bardot with a fit and flare style. I think they’d look lovely on you and a Bardot top half and longer bottom half woukd be very close to the purple one with the frill.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/09/2025 13:03

I had to google Bardot @Weepixie 😂

time to buy a small size then @FurForksSake

OP posts:
Weepixie · 14/09/2025 13:15

@Blondeshavemorefun both of the dresses were very much along the lines of the Bardot style so you’re on the right track already.

Weepixie · 14/09/2025 13:30

@Blondeshavemorefun have a wee look at Silk Fred for some ideas.

I don’t know how that dress got there after I’d deleted it - it’s the wrong dress I was going to show you

Anyway. Have a wee look at Silk Fred

What do you think of this. It’s mix of both the dresses you posted, just not a straight skirt. It’s in the sale. 35 pounds. And you could dress it up or down. Wedding guest dress this week, casual on holiday next week.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/09/2025 13:52

It’s not a bad dress. I just like the red version with the different styles. The blue one should be here in a few days and will try it

I did find it on Amazon with pic search but can’t justify the price as have tech 6 dresses to buy

I didn’t see that maroon dress in the link properly in the other picture if it’s the same dress, and when I was looking for a dress to give you an example of I discounted loads in the style of the maroon one above because I thought you might not like it. It’s just what I was thinking of for you. I thought a wee bit of a flounce would put a spring on your step seeing you like the frill on the purple/bluish one. I like the one in the link, Bardot shoulder, fit and flare, sexy flounce, and the maroon and grey blue one are lovely.

morbidcuriosity · 15/09/2025 10:25

Weigh day for me today. Still 11 stone which I'm happy with, but the other thing is I have a pair of jeans I love in a 36 waist and had to get a 34 waist in same jeans, now I think I may need to get a 32 as they are too big. So numbers same but inches have gone..

I really don't have a lot of clothes that fit me now, gonna have to start spending money again.

FurForksSake · 15/09/2025 10:42

Well done @morbidcuriosityits so interesting how the body composition changes. Can you pop the out shrunk bits on vinted? I’m going to have to at some point.

morbidcuriosity · 15/09/2025 10:49

@FurForksSake I think I may have to start doing this as I found an old pair of trousers that never used to fit, tried them on and they too big too. Ha. Nice problem but annoying, I've never worn them.
