Creating this in advance, as the old thread is suddenly moving quickly due to recent events. No matter what challenges lie ahead we are still making amazing progress - so let’s keep supporting one another along the way as we approach 4 months ‘on the pen’.

Lost one pound this week. That’s 4 stone 13. Only 2 stone 10 to target. Bought a size 18 sequin short skirt to wear with a sheer shirt, tights and boots to my works Christmas party next weekend. Whit woo me. 😊.

Hope you enjoy and let me know your thoughts on clubbersize when you’ve been. 🕺

PeachSnail · 01/12/2025 07:39

Good morning and happy Monday everyone!

Can't believe it's now 1st Dec and we're about to enter Xmas silly season... I'm definitely going to have less of an appetite for mince pies this year! 😇

Well done to everyone who's keeping on keeping on and seeing the incremental progress coming along. And well done to those entering the next scary phase of maintenance! It's great having you guys out there reporting on how it's all going.

I've still got 5kg to go before I reach goal and the weight loss has really slowed. Seriously, I lost just 0.05kg this week! 😆 I've just started a new pen and I have that plus 2 more to see me through until the end now. I'm hoping it'll get me to goal and then give me a little for maintenance as well.

I went to some clothes shops last week to have a try on and see what size I am. I'm comfortably a 12 in M&S and a small in H&M... Although I could get the size 10 jeans on in M&S, they were just a little tight. So hopefully I'll get to a proper size 10 before too much longer 🤞🏻. Need to resist buying too many new clothes until then!

Anyway, have a great week everyone and good luck navigating all the Christmassy chaos... Dodging random Quality Streets, Xmas drinks and mince pies 🥧🍬🥂🤪

Good morning everyone, I've been awol for a while but its great to see everyone doing so well!
I had a tummy bug last week so only took my jab last night instead of Wednesday, and I have stayed the same at 11 6 which is good as I had a couple of days I didn't pay attention to what I ate at all.
Also had a NSV, bought a size S jumper in Peacocks! There were no mediums so I tried it on and it fits! I checked with both a mirror and an independent witness (big sister) and I can't believe it

cannyvalley · 02/12/2025 17:59

Brief update to share that I went a Clubercise class last night and I’m obsessed. I’m going back next week. Dancing about with glow sticks to ‘children of the night’ for some good , healthy exercise, yes please!

It’s fabulous isn’t it. So much fun …

Coventree · 03/12/2025 07:18

Lovely to hear from you @cannyvalley and love that you loved @wendywoopywoo222’s clubercise suggestion…I’ll join in in my head with you both 😁. Enjoy your work’s Christmas Do @wendywoopywoo222 and love the sound of your outfit!

Hurrah for size S clothes @Coffeeandallthebooks! I’m swanning around in an S coat right now (I’m not an S yet as a rule, it’s just quite generous) and no-one else knows it’s an S but I just love putting in on! 🤞the size 10s will be yours very soon @PeachSnail.

Great work @BeachBodyAim, those 10lbs will be gone before you know it 💪

Amazing positive health changes these @slightlysmallerPoisonIvy 👏👏👏. Wow, what a benefit the MJ is having to us all in so many ways. 60lbs is fab-u-lous and what a way to start the new year. Hope you manage to lose that half lb down the back on the sofa and avoid the Christmas temptations 😉. Then we can march on forwards into 2026 and see what that brings us.

Great to hear how maintenance is going @violetmondays, thanks for the update. I’d love people to stick around/pop back in like this once GW is achieved and the weight loss becomes less of an immediate focus 😊.

Coventree · 03/12/2025 07:22

And it’s a 3lb loss for me this week, taking it to 63lbs in total 🎉.

10mg is working great for the weight loss, but I do have a low level nausea which I’ve never had before on lower doses. I’ve got about 1st to go to get me somewhere into the 9s, with the aim that 10st will be my red line that I don’t want to go above. Hope I can do that in the next month or two and then look at maintenance 🤞

GoGoGovy · 04/12/2025 08:40

Hello all.

Another returner here, catching up on pages of unread posts.
Its great to read the updates of those who are continuing on the journey and also, those who have got to goal and are now navigating the world of maintenance.

I finally got to goal (size 12, bmi of 24) after a very slow autumn. I wanted to be off the jabs by Christmas, but that isn’t going to happen, so atm, I’m experimenting with lower doses and longer periods between injecting. I bob around the goal weight, so not sure how it will pan out when I eventually go cold turkey.

Im retiring next year, so will hopefully have more time to exercise and cook meals from scratch. That is the plan anyway.

Now to re-read thread 5 and find out what clubercise is 😀

dozywelshbird · 05/12/2025 07:29

Some fab losses and congratulations @GoGoGovy on getting to goal!!!! 😁

2lb off this week hurrah 😁 when I logged on mfp this morning it congratulated me on getting to goal, I had forgotten I had set this as my initial goal as wasn't sure I would ever get there, but I'm aiming for another stone off yet. My BMI is still 26.9

Have a great Friday everyone 😁

GoGoGovy · 05/12/2025 08:14

@dozywelshbird congrats on goal no.1 😀 and at a 2lb loss per week, you’ll be at goal no.2 in no time. 🎉X

AbundanceofKatherines · 05/12/2025 08:56

Morning everyone. Lovely to hear from returners - so great that everyone is doing so well 🎉

I didn’t weigh or jab last week as I was away. I haven’t jabbed this week either and don’t plan to. I shall keep my 2 x unopened 2.5mg pens in the fridge in case I need them over Christmas or in January. I have lost 1.1lb since last weigh in and have 1.9lbs to go to the target set by my provider. I’m very happy as I am though, so not desperate to get to that number.

According to Shotsy, I currently have 1.5mg in my system, which is my lowest since 1st May (remember way back then!?). I have noticed a slightly increased interest in food - particularly in the evenings but have been able to resist - this is the food noise I guess. My appetite hasn’t increased - I’m still satisfied with small meals - but my hunger signals are stronger. I know I can push through the hunger, maybe have a cup of tea or a glass of water, and the hunger goes away. I only eat at meal times, no snacking.

I’m feeling positive but a little nervous. I have my 2 pen safety net and am on the maintenance plan with Juniper, so have that safety net too.

I bloody love being healthy (and slim!)!i

Merlin23 · 05/12/2025 10:03

Well done everyone on your losses, goals reached and feeling slim and healthy.

2lbs off this week
72lbs off total.
Hoping to get another 4-5lbs before the new year. Then start titrating down. Still on 5mg.
I'm still in disbelief at how I now look and feel.
Size 12 (some feeling big)
Nice to go into any clothes shop and know i can choose anything.
NSV
Told someone I've never met before I am on MJ they told me that I don't need to lose weight and shouldn't be on it. I then explained i had lost over 5 stone. They then understood.
First time someone has questioned me being on the jab! That felt good as I really don't look overweight to other people.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Crunchymum · 05/12/2025 14:16

Hello all,

Hope everyone is doing well? I can't believe it's December!! And here I am 4st (well 1lb to get to 4st lost) lighter than I was when I started.

Managed -1lb this week so that's 33 weigh-ins with a loss each and every week!! Madness.

I'm getting lots of comments now and to be honest I wish people wouldn't 😬 makes me feel so self conscious!! Although I bumped into someone I hadn't seen for a while recently and I barely recognised her. She was always beautiful (and very tall) but she must have lost half her body weight. I was mindful enough to not ask her about MJ or mention her weight but I did tell her about 10 times in 5 minutes how amazing she looked!! I know her well enough to have asked about WLI but didn’t. It's such a rude question.

I did of course caveat every "you look amazing" with "but you always look amazing"..... funnily noone has said that to me? It's just the very direct "you've lost a bit of weight haven't you?" 😆 but I'll take that!!

slightlysmallerPoisonIvy · 05/12/2025 22:05

Excellent losses @BeachBodyAim @wendywoopywoo222 @PeachSnail @Coventree @dozywelshbird @AbundanceofKatherines @Merlin23 @Crunchymum

@cannyvalley well done on the maintaining and fitting into a size 10!!!

@Coffeeandallthebooks size S wow!!!!

@Coventree I was thinking this week how fab will it be to start 2026 without having to do the usual starting a new diet on Jan 1st!

@GoGoGovy congrats on reaching your goal!

@AbundanceofKatherines Congrats on reaching a weight you're happy with, that's so much more important than an arbitrary number that the provider set for you!

I fell off track for a couple of days this week, eating my feelings happened for the first time in ages but I'm back on track now and not going to let it completely derail me.

Zebracat · 06/12/2025 12:19

84.8 this morning , so a loss of 300 grams after a very well behaved week, but it’s another loss so I’m happy. Full on Christmas here today with dgds staying, so it’s hot chocolate in the park, making Christmas biscuits, chips for lunch and mince pies on the Santa Express this afternoon. Ah well, tough work but someone’s got to do it . Just hope we don’t have to break open the emergency smarties.

PumpKim · 07/12/2025 15:21

Well done everyone on the continued successes of losing, reaching goals and maintaining 🎉

Weekly weigh in and it's another 1lb off, don't think I checked in last week, it was 0.7. Still plodding along 😁
37lb gone in total. My interim targets now are:
Get into the 10s (2lb to go)
Get into the 9s (16lb to go)
Reach 'healthy' on the BMI scale (21.5lb to go)
I'll decide from there how much further I need to go.

StartingApril2025 · 07/12/2025 18:55

Hi everyone just catching up, soo good to hear all the successes and the challenges too knowing we are all in the same boat! I haven’t been great these last few weeks with food, prob calories not too much over but nutrition not good, more wee handful of sweets or chocolates or nuts rather than actual meals which isn’t great! Weight loss has slowed to half a pound a week on average but if I can keep that it’ll be fine until new year!

BeachBodyAim · 07/12/2025 23:17

SW 17.7
CW 13.2
WK 31?? Loss 1lb
Total loss 4st 5lb

Late posting this weekend - pre Christmas busy!!!!!!
Happy with 1lb loss this week!! 9lb to my goal weight and I’m getting nervous about post MJ life to be honest - it feels like a comfort blanket lol!!!!
Well done on the NSV’s and weight losses!!
Have a fab week!!!

PeachSnail · 08/12/2025 07:37

SW 87.65kg
CW 69.65kg
GW 65kg

So that's a 0.5kg loss this week... Quite pleased after having pretty much stalled for a couple of weeks. Plus... To see a number starting with a 6 on the scales felt pretty monumental this morning! I can't even remember the last time I saw that!

It feels like I'm on the last leg now... Just need to try to keep motivated. Basically, I feel pretty ok with how I look now (so much healthier!), but I do have a fair amount of 'spare' still on my tummy and arms so it'll be good to reduce this down... But because I feel less of a pressing need to lose weight, I think I'm probably being less strict with myself at times. Also I don't think I can quite make myself believe I'll actually make it to goal... I'm so self-defeatist 😆

Anyway, I'm at BMI 23.3 now (I'm 5'8) so feeling good. Just need to keep on keeping on 💪🏻

Well done on your losses @BeachBodyAim @PumpKim @Zebracat @Crunchymum @Merlin23 @dozywelshbird @GoGoGovy @Coventree @AbundanceofKatherines

And keep going @StartingApril2025 @slightlysmallerPoisonIvy!

I'm so grateful I'll have MJ to help me over the Christmas period as I usually put loads of weight on and then feel awful at the start of the new year... Looking forward to a more positive start to 2026! 😇🤞🏻

Nearlyhadenough · 08/12/2025 08:58

Well done everyone on your losses! Just catching up with you all.

I went away and issued one jab/weigh in. I weighed the following week and had put on 5 1/2 pounds… I know I had eaten more and enjoyed some cocktails, but the gain seemed out of proportion. Half of me was thinking it wasn’t something to worry about and the other half was appalled.

I got back on it this week and lost just over 5 1/2 pounds, which I am incredibly happy with! 4 stone exactly gone now.

I’m going to get in touch with Pharmulous this week and hopefully they’ll take me on for my last half a stone and into maintenance.

BudgieMom · 08/12/2025 10:17

Week 32 weigh in and its another 2lbs off. Chuffed with that! Hopefully I can lose another 2lbs before Xmas and that will take me to 5.5 st off (3.5 with MJ). Well done everyone on your great losses and I hope you all have a great week 😊

wlinewbie0425 · 10/12/2025 07:07

Hi all - checking in as realised it’s a Wednesday! Have had a lot going on recently so haven’t been much focused on the weekly weigh ins but I do stand on the scales every day so the scales app lets me look back and I’m in a downward wiggle of my maintenaining ish fluctuation this Wednesdays at 10st 4 which is exactly 3.5 stone down on my MJ starting weight and right where I want to stay now. Still taking a sub dose of a pen I’ve used far longer than I ever thought I would be comfortable with - no negative effects, I did wonder if it was losing efficacy last week as felt a bit hungrier but this week less so, so I think it was unconnected.

have managed to really enjoy one proper Christmas lunch so far - ate all the turkey, veg and trimmings and a few roasties but left the rest of the carbs when I got full. Great to know it’s still possible to enjoy a big meal although I only had the main course.

im very aware of the Mj when I walk round the supermarket as none of the Christmas stuff temps me like it usually does, we’ve not had a single cheese board or mince pie yet - usually a few in by now! How are the rest of you finding your first festive season on the pen?

OP posts:
GoGoGovy · 10/12/2025 07:40

Hi @wlinewbie0425
…‘How are the rest of you finding your first festive season on the pen?’

I still have the urge to buy and eat these treats, but I just can’t eat as much. I’ve also been to my works Christmas meal. My colleagues don’t know I’m on wli’s (they probably suspect I am, as they have questioned how I have suddenly lost weight after trying and failing to lose the weight over the last 6 years!). I tried really hard to eat everything, but in the end only eat about 2/3rds of the meal.

No real change on the scales, but I have noticed that the constipation is back. Could be be due to the change in diet again. Will get back to sensible eating once the Christmas festivities are over.

Coventree · 10/12/2025 08:13

Nice to hear from you @GoGoGovy and I’m not jealous of you having retirement on the horizon at all! Great news that you’re at goal as our resident (still only, I think) Wegovy expert.

Well done @dozywelshbird for getting to your initial goal and good luck for making the revised goal 😁

How are you getting on with not jabbing @AbundanceofKatherines? 🤞

Love how people like to have an opinion on MJ @Merlin23😁, but a good ego boost to hear, I’m sure!

Great consistent results @Crunchymum and I’m sure it just goes without saying that you always looked amazing pre-MJ!

Are you back on track now @slightlysmallerPoisonIvy? Stay strong 💪 , we’ve got this!

Hope you managed to avoid using the emergency Smarties @Zebracat, but what a lovely way to spend the day.

Well done @PumpKim, another 1lb gone 🎉

Hope Christmas temptations aren’t too tempting @StartingApril2025!

Great 1lb loss @BeachBodyAim 👏

Keep going @PeachSnail - I know what you mean about having a bit less of a need to lose as you get nearer goal weight…but you can do this!

That doesn’t sound like fat gain/loss @Nearlyhadenough so hope it’s all balanced out now and you’re back on track to maintenance!

Wow @BudgieMom 2lbs off is amazing! Great work 👍

Great maintenance management @wlinewbie0425 and what a healthy way to be approaching Christmas and the new year ⭐️

Coventree · 10/12/2025 08:15

No change on the scales this week for me, but I put on 1lb, lost 2lb, and put another 1lb back on across the week, so it’s been a bit all over the place but I’ve ultimately ended up at the same point! 🤷‍♀️
