Creating this in advance, as the old thread is suddenly moving quickly due to recent events. No matter what challenges lie ahead we are still making amazing progress - so let’s keep supporting one another along the way as we approach 4 months ‘on the pen’.

Aghhhhh I’m 10 stone !!!!!!

10 stone!!!!!! I can’t actually believe this. It’s one of my dreamy ‘imagine if I was 10 stone’ weights that I’ve had in my head for years.

i haven’t been this weight for about 10 years.
Probably since my wedding.

im absolutely cock a hoop and I don’t care who knows it 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

And I went out for a celebration meal last week AND I’ve got my period , which makes me doubly impressed with my self for hitting this milestone!

Love the joy that’s palpable from this post! 🥳 for your 10 stone @cannyvalley

I’m at 11 right now and been a bit over and under it for a few days and that also feels amazing, I think 10 is now my final goal, 10.5 is great for my height but I want that buffer. Not gonna lie I do have a part of me that would love to see a weight starting with a 9 even just briefly again but the sensible part of me knows that probably wouldn’t suit me at this age or be a healthy thing to covet.

🥳🥳🥳 for everyone starting to live (or getting closer to) their dream weights on this otherwise dreary Monday ❤️

What an amazing thread this is! Love all of your amazing posts…whether you’ve lost a little, some, or a lot, we’ve all made significant improvements to our health since that fateful day in late April(ish) when we all individually decided to take action and then managed to find each other on here 😍😍😍

cannyvalley · 15/09/2025 21:49

@Merlin23tha is you! Yes, 10 9 is sooo close. You got this!!!

@wlinewbie0425 thank you! Hovering at 11 is amazing , yeaaaaaahhh!!!

@Coventree I feel the same way. I love this community and all our brilliant journeys. I feel very blessed right now !

violetmondays · 15/09/2025 22:18

Oh wow! There’s so much lovely news on here that I can’t mention everyone. Have loved reading all the updates after not coming on for a week or so.

I jabbed and weighed Friday and lost around 3lb which I was happy about after not really losing anything the week before. Current weight is 10 st 5.5 and my target is 10 stone which I’m hoping to reach in the next few weeks. @cannyvalley well done for reaching 10!!!! Hopefully I will join you soon!

I had a special date night with my husband this weekend and we went for a fancy meal - I felt really confident in what I chose to wear for the first time in a very long time.

I’m pleased to say I can now fit into my All Saints leather jacket and my pink Italian trouser suit (I mentioned these at the beginning of this journey and that I was hoping to fit into them again). Unlikely I’ll wear the trouser suit over the winter but hopefully next spring/summer I’ll get chance to wear it!

PeachSnail · 16/09/2025 10:41

I just did a sneaky weigh-in this morning and got 74.6kg (0.45kg less than on my "official" weigh-in day yesterday)

So frickin pleased as this gives me a BMI of 24.9, meaning that I've just crept into the "healthy" range! 🙌 🎉☺️

Think yesterday's weigh-in might have been affected by the carbs I ate on Sunday to ward-off my hangover 🫣 They must have cleared my system now!

So pleased as this gives me an extra boost of motivation to keep things going in the right direction 💪. I'm aiming for a weight that puts me comfortably in the mid range of "healthy" as I've never been a slight build and I want to make sure I hang on to my muscles!

So im on an early morning flight to Naples tomorrow. Ive manipulated my jabs so i can take one tonight and the next when i get back next Wednesday, saves the hassle of taking it with me.
No weigh in for me this coming Saturday which may be no bad thing. Expect to put a little on. Ive not had any alcohol since going to see Oasis 2 months ago but i expect that might change of the coming days with maybe a beer or 2 in the sun or a nice glass of white wine with some lovely food.
But i will still try to make healthyISH choices and i expect my wife will have me walking all over the place probably averaging about 20,000 steps a day.
Can't believe its nearly 5 months since we all started on this medicine. The choice i made to ask if it was ok for a man to join you all in this thread was the right one. Thank you all for the way you support each other. Its really helped. We got this x

GoGoGovy · 16/09/2025 16:04

@Scousebloke have a fantastic time. It’s a lovely area with so much to see. Word of warning though. If you take the Naples to Sorrento train, watch out for pickpockets. Been there, got the t-shirt 😀.
Enjoy the fantastic food, the drink, the views, the culture - everything!

Scousebloke · 16/09/2025 16:09

@GoGoGovy thanks for the heads up. We will be going to Sorrento, just not sure if doing it ourselves by train or an organised tour via get your guide or similar so will definately bare that in mind.

slightlysmallerPoisonIvy · 16/09/2025 17:35

Wow some excellent losses and NSVs, well done everyone!
I'm feeling much better suppression and satiety this week and I'm trying to get back on track with exercise but seem to have misplaced all my motivation for that. I forgot to post my weigh in at the weekend, I lost 0.6lbs. I'm 1.1lbs away from the 3st club so hoping to hit that this week. Losses are a bit slower than I'd like at the moment but I'm not complaining, slow is better than nothing and I'm not going to risk increasing my dose and derailing again.
Hope everyone is having a good week!

@scousebloke
Go it alone. It's a lovely town to walk around. Naples has lots of pickpockets. Sorrento is a quiet town.

toobusytoclean · 16/09/2025 19:34

Oh dear, awful day at work, so comfort ate this evening. Consumed an entire Romana pizza. God knows what that’s going to do to my bowels tomorrow morning. 😳

wendywoopywoo222 · 16/09/2025 20:34

First time in quite a few years that the scales said 17 something. 😊😊😊. Been smiling all day.

Well done @wendywoopywoo222@slightlysmallerPoisonIvy@PeachSnail& @violetmondays

0.4lb loss for my weigh in Wednesday today which I am perfectly happy with at this stage and time of the month! Same again next week would get me into next stone bracket (which I did already see at the weekend but I don’t record them and it fluctuated back up!)

hope everyone has good day.

Coventree · 17/09/2025 07:37

Wednesday weigh-in and 2lbs lost this week 🎉, 50lbs/3st 7lbs in total 😮🎉. Still another stone and a half before I’m in the ‘healthy’ bmi but good progress towards that this week.

10st will soon be yours @violetmondays!

How fabulous you are with your healthy bmi @PeachSnail !

Enjoy Italy @Scousebloke 🇮🇹

Glad you’re back in your groove @slightlysmallerPoisonIvy, and 🤞 for entry into the 3st club very soon

Hope everything’s okay today @toobusytoclean 🍕 💩😳 and that today is a better day at work

Well done @wendywoopywoo222 - it’s so uplifting when the scales show a new number. Hope that smile continues to shine today as well 👏👏👏. And hope you’re still smiling @cannyvalley at your amazing 10st weight!

Fab progress @wlinewbie0425 and hope next stone bracket quickly becomes your reality 🌟

Keep going everyone, we’re doing amazing!!!

Coventree · 17/09/2025 18:58

3st 7lbs lost is 49lbs not 50lbs…my maths is wrong!

Coffeeandallthebooks · 18/09/2025 09:10

Good morning everyone, it has been amazing to read so much good news over the last few days!
I'm so impressed at everyone, people in the 10's!!, holidays and special occasions enjoyed (and weight loss resumed directly afterwards) And so many amazing losses and NSV's!

I seem to have caught the group good luck, as I've lost 4lbs this week taking me to 12 6. That is a BMI of 29.7 so very pleased to be out of the obese category for what I think is the first time in my adult life, I'm 45

I hope our positive streak continues and I'm looking forward to reading about more losses and brilliant NSV's going forward

Merlin23 · 18/09/2025 20:23

I decided to go down to 5mg from 7.5mg this week.
Thursday evening jab night. Ive had really bad wind and diarrhea the last 2 weeks. Saturdays have been really bad. So I thought I'd try a smaller dose to see if that stops the diarrhea.

AbundanceofKatherines · 19/09/2025 08:46

I hope you have a better Saturday 🤞@Merlin23

Weigh in day for me - 1.1lb off, which is okay. I have been strict with my eating and exercise this week so was hoping for more (as I lost nowt last week). I guess I’m just getting close to goal so it’s harder now.

end of week 21? Jab #22? 6mg

SW 12st 7.5
CW 9st 10.7
GW 8st 10 (this is bang in the middle of a healthy BMI, but I might not make it!)

Current BMI 24.2

nsv - a friend at work called me “slender” yesterday! What a lovely word 😃 (I was wearing a floaty dress that hide all the wobbly bits well).

Happy weigh-ins and weekends fellow travellers xx

Crunchymum · 19/09/2025 11:40

Hello all,

Just swinging by for Friday weigh-in results. I'm -1.5lbs this week so -40lbs overall now.

Still 21.5lbs from GW but I'm getting there. Considering I'm on 10mg it's been slow going but at this stage I'm seeing slow and steady as a positive. I'm so close to 3st and 3st in 5 months is bloody amazing. I'm very proud of myself.

Merlin23 · 19/09/2025 11:44

Thank you @AbundanceofKatherines

Weigh in today
Another 2 lbs down
1lb until I hit 4 stone.
Not expecting as much this week as I've gone down to 5mg.
Never thought it would go this well.
1 stone more to be considered a healthy weight.

Keep going everyone!

GoGoGovy · 19/09/2025 16:42

Afternoon ladies.

Day off work today, so I thought I would carry on with my declutterring and/or trying on session. I’ve found some real gems up in the attic. Mostly bnwt size 12 Boden stuff that I obviously bought in the sales (in the old days, if I liked a boden piece, I used to buy it in every colour 😀). Great quality and most of the items are actually back in fashion again. A couple of shortish denim dresses, a lovely British made tweed jacket and a wool mini skirt in this seasons colour, burgundy. I can also get into a M&S leather skirt that I bought about 20 years ago. It’s an a-line midi skirt that would cost a fortune today. In fact M&S have got a similar one on their website for £225!. I’ll style it up with a fluffy jumper and a pair of loafers or clumpy boots - very Claudia Winkleman/ traitors.

This is such fun!

violetmondays · 19/09/2025 18:05

Friday check in! Lost 1lb this week, which is fine, getting close to goal now so expect things to be slowing, and I suspect I probably need to increase my dose of MJ as currently on 4.2mg and don't feel like it's doing as much now but thinking it's a good idea to start using more willpower as I get closer to titrating down.

Jab #20
SW: 13st 3lb (13.9 when applied for MJ but managed to lose 6lb before I started)
CW: 10st 4lb
GW: 10 stone ish
Current BMI: 23.2

Well done on all the NSVs and losses. @Scousebloke hope you're having a fab time in Italy.

I love your post @GoGoGovy what a result finding all those new clothes!!! Leather skirt sounds lush and perfect for Autumn! I slightly regret ditching some of old my size 10/12 dresses a year ago 🙄but it's a good excuse to buy new ones anyway.

@Merlin23 that sounds crap, hope you feel better soon.

Have great weekends everyone!

Merlin23 · 19/09/2025 18:07

@violetmondays
It literally has been! 🤣
