Lots of very useful discussions going on on the old thread, so I thought I would continue it!

Novo Nordisk might just be hoping for some good publicity given the recent news about the lawsuit against them.

Are there any up dates on what companies are charging from September

I've seen confirmed prices from MedicineMarketplace
2.5mg £137
5mg £178
7.5mg £215
10mg £239
12.5mg £251
15mg £271

Pillsorted seem to being a retention 'plan' ?

Wegovy to be reduced in the US rather than increased here..

https://fortune.com/2025/08/18/novo-nordisk-ozempic-wegovy-cash-price-drop/

That might be good news for us if US users switch to Wegovy / Ozempic as it’s slightly less effective but much cheaper than Zepbound / Mounjaro. Eli Lilly might then need to reduce Mounjaro prices globally to retain their market share.

By all accounts ozempic is the larger drug there, no?

I ordered 2.5mg from Medexpress on Thursday afternoon and that’s it just been approved an hour ago!

Not sure about specific numbers for each drug but my brother lives in the US and he and several friends are all on Zepbound / Mounjaro at ridiculous prices compared to our previous prices.

Just checked Juniper website and they have a whole section on switching to Wegovy and seem to be offering discounts. I don’t know how many customers will actually switch but it gets the message out to Eli Lilly that if you price Mounjaro too high customers do have other cheaper options even if they are slightly less effective.

Juniper are offering it as being just as effective as wegovy, which is misleading

Juniper say the new 7.2mg Wegovy dose is up there with Mounjaro. Is the license imminent?

They are peeing me off as I tried to order my next dose last Thursday, (been with them a year) but was told I was a week early. I've had three emails from them since asking why I've not checked out / hey you've left something in your basket. I keep going back into my account and it still won't let me order till 21st, so I'm expecting a delay after that.

Chequp have announced as well £149-£329.

It does feel as though things aren’t as bad as we feared (in terms of £450+)

Still a near 100% increase on higher doses though. The higher prices may have been deliberately leaked to cushion the blow.

Yes

LifeOfAShowGirl · 19/08/2025 13:43

I’m taking all of this with a pinch of salt.

Thursday - “Mounjaro will be 170% more expensive!!!”

panic buying ensues

monday - “well discounts will be available”

Tuesday - “we’ll be offering a large rebate as long as you pass it on to consumers”

meanwhile they’ve all lined their pockets during the summer holidays when a lot of people cut back

My pharmacy2u pen was delivered this morning, ordered late Thursday evening. No emails about it until early this morning and then delivery about an hour later!

Mine now says dispatched today!🤗

PringlesTube · 19/08/2025 13:52

Still no updates at all from IQdoctor, bit piss poor really considering every other pharmancy has been sending out info and some reassurance. I keep getting emails from medexpress, but I haven’t purchased from them in 6 months. As it stands, looking at predicted pricing, I can’t afford another £100+ on top of what I’m already paying so will probably have to quickly move down from 10mg to 2.5.

They might not all be sending prices but on Reddit I’ve seen a lot of people posting at least some communication from multiple pharmacies, even if it’s just to reassure them about stock or even info about switching to wegovy. I think it’s really crap of any pharmacy that’s not sent anything, especially as they just know how much panic has been caused.

Gertieblue · 15/08/2025 20:43

How will this work for the reordering window for your pharmacy, please (ie having to order every month)? I like this idea.

Just order a bit later each month

Do you know how long you can generally leave between orders? I always reorder every four weeks, but maybe you can leave it longer between orders without having to restart. Thank you.

You should have no problem reordering as after a break of 4/6 weeks you would need to start at 2.5mg anyway
