Happy 1st birthday to us all - somewhere in this month we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

the amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+

in a year or for some 11-11.5mths - I was middle of August - we have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

some are at goal - and working out how to maintain

some nearing it

some still have weight they want to lose

Some have stopped for cost / various reasons and blowing baby dust your way to those who are ttc

but ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

maybe if brave - post your before and after pics to see how far we have come in a year

Did you keep it in the fridge whilst using it @owlyboo? This one won't be used until October/November time and I thought it had to be kept below 8° when unopened, hence the ice packs?

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/08/2025 19:48

I think they are all going to be around the same price @Timetofindme as can’t imagine one company will be much higher or lower then others

7.5 at £200 isn’t great but mathe it’s the middle balance as some suppression hopefully while also losing weight but learning better habits

what pen are You currently on

My delivery has just arrived. Warm. The 'ice pack' was reading as 24° and its a lot cooler now than it has been all day. It's not going to be any good is it?

My understanding is that unless a pen is open you dont need to keep in the fridge? Check directly with your supplier though.

Azuresky68 · 23/08/2025 20:10

Looking at ordering a pen from IQ Doctor, Curate or Lotus as they seem the cheapest. Pharmacy Online only supplying pens to existing customers. The difference between 7.5 and 10 is quite small so I would probably order a 10 and do lower doses from it.

This is not right. Once a pen is opened, it can be kept out of the fridge and used within 30 days. Prior to opening, the cold chain should be maintained and the pen should be stored in the fridge.

poppym12 · 23/08/2025 20:23

It's the opposite to that @Azuresky68 (I think!). In transit and before use, Lilly says it should be kept btw 2 and 8°c.

I've emailed my supplier but I expect the usual 'it'll be perfectly safe to use within 30 days'.

I've opened a new 15mg pen this morning so it won't even bee started within 30 days.

We went to a family party today (I cried in pain on the way home and have had to have morphine and will need another dose before bed, I think I might be bed bound tomorrow.

@Blondeshavemorefun 7.5. It's just so frustrating that the prices are being whacked up (not blaming the pharmacies). This drug is life changing for so many of us and I've still got a fair way to go. I'm just going to have to wait and see really

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/08/2025 21:01

twit twoo @FurForksSake tho sorry in pain. Do you have a before pic. I love a compare

I have more than one pen in my order, I can't use them all within 30 days. It was apparently dispatched Thursday but no sign of it and no delivery now until Tuesday.

In the current situation I think they will be unable to replace them and will refund.

Gutted. Hope Juniper come through with a pen now.

@FurForksSakeyou look wonderful but sorry you are struggling with pain

@Azuresky68you refrigerate until opening then it can remain at room temperature in use for 30 days but I just keep mine in the fridge.

NSV bought a pair of size 12 jeans at Sainsbury's. They are going back as I didn't like the cut but the size 12 wasn't even snug, nice and comfy. Size 12 is still a bit snug for tops (boobs much reduced but still enormous) but getting there, bought a size 12 dress on vinted from hush and it gapes on the boobs but is perfect everywhere else.

poppym12 · 23/08/2025 21:54

How have you lost years @FurForksSake ?? You look amazing.

poppym12 · 23/08/2025 21:55

Three pens? That sucks @WorriedRelative. I hope they can send replacements for you.

FurForksSake · 23/08/2025 22:02

I sure look better than this 😆 I feel every inch of my nearly 43, people used to tell me I didn’t look my age and I’d laugh and tell them the fat pushes the wrinkles out 😆😆

my hair today didn’t look thin, I’m quite conscious of how thin my ponytail is now compared to before, but it actually looks fine. I’m lucky to have had a lot of hair!

im trying hard to take my iron, biotin and vitamin d and hit my protein to maintain it.

Sorry you’ve got so much pain @FurForksSake and hope it’s easing off. Just had to say you look so pretty and young! Would never have thought you were in your 40s, I’d have put you at early 30s!

lookathatbookcase · 24/08/2025 00:22

I love this little outfit; the skirt is per Una and I am going to wear it all autumn and winter! It’s really heavy good quality denim. The little shirt is nobodies child and I think I can get quite a bit of wear from it as a layering piece.

it’s so nice not having to think about what hides the fact I’m a weeble

I have the pens sent to the Middle East, so lots of potential for variations in temp along the way despite really good packaging and delivery times and the mention of your pens had me check the manufacturers website just out of curiosity.

It says you may store the unopened vial at room temperature below 30°C for up to a total of up to 21 days. And I had to check - 30c is 86f in old money, it’s really warm conditions and I doubt your pens would have been in temps anything like that.

@WorriedRelative - sorry, I didn’t see you’re also worried about your prns.

This is not right. Once a pen is opened, it can be kept out of the fridge and used within 30 days. Prior to opening, the cold chain should be maintained and the pen should be stored in the fridge.

The manufacturer seems to say differently for periods up to 21 days and below 30C
