Happy 1st birthday to us all - somewhere in this month we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

the amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+

in a year or for some 11-11.5mths - I was middle of August - we have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

some are at goal - and working out how to maintain

some nearing it

some still have weight they want to lose

Some have stopped for cost / various reasons and blowing baby dust your way to those who are ttc

but ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

maybe if brave - post your before and after pics to see how far we have come in a year

Lovely people, can anyone give me their experience of going down from 15 mg to 12.5 please? Am looking at doing this purely for financial reasons but don't want to shoot myself in the foot! Have lost 90 plus pounds so far, have at least 45 to go. Thank you 🙂

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/08/2025 12:50

@4pink1blue you have done so well and look amazing

if you did it sooner you wouldn’t have met us auggies 🥰

From ousch

We appreciate your continued participation in our maintenance plan. As part of this plan, members receive one discount code per calendar month to apply toward their order.

Our records show that your August code has already been used, and unfortunately, we’re unable to issue additional codes until the start of September.

Additionally, we want to inform you that Eli Lilly announced a price increase earlier this week. In response, we are currently reviewing our pricing structure and expect to release updated discount codes after September 1st. We’ll be contacting all patients over the next couple of weeks with more details.

We understand that changes like these can be inconvenient, and we’re committed to keeping you informed and supported throughout the process.

If you have any questions or need assistance in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

I never seem to get emails from oushk. I wonder if one of I’ll turn up!

@4pink1blue Wow!!! What an amazing difference.

20bloodypounds · 18/08/2025 13:24

@4pink1blue what a fantastic achievement - whatever some people might say about WLI being 'cheating', they don't understand that it still takes effort and discipline. And well done on sticking to your plan over the past 2 months.

20bloodypounds · 18/08/2025 15:32

I just got an update from Oushk - I've always been impressed by them, and this shows how much they are doing behind the scenes to manage current stocks. Basically, they are asking people to be considerate to others and don't panic buy, in return they will honour orders placed in August at August prices, even if you want the pens delivered in October. Plus, they are getting more stock in this week - good news for anyone who doesn't have their own personal stockpile Wink

----------------------
UPDATE:

  1. Deliveries
You can update your delivery date and address at any time by logging into your orders page.

If you don’t need your order immediately, please consider delaying your delivery, this frees up earlier slots for patients who may urgently need theirs. We will be honouring the lower price for all orders placed until the 29th of Aug and you can schedule your delivery for up to 3 months in advance,

  1. Stock Arriving This Week
Good news – more stock is arriving this week. This includes all strengths, and we’re doing our best to manage demand fairly and safely. As always, we will only allow orders for items we have in physical stock. Update on stock levels will be posted on the community page.

I had yet another today from them. Think that’s 3 today now

Price and Maintenance Updates Coming Soon
New Mounjaro pricing will be shared early next week. We are doing our absolute best to keep this as fair as possible.

In the meantime, you can still order at the current lower prices until Friday 29th August, including for September and later delivery.

Maintenance pricing will also be getting changed and we will share this information out as soon as possible. Anyone who has used a maintenance code in August, can use a standard code to place an order for the extra pen if needed.

I have felt like death warmed up today. No energy, in a lot of pain and very grumpy. I don’t know why, I wouldn’t have thought it was due to taking my 48 hours late?

I had a cheese and tomato sandwich at lunch time, a packet of cheese and onion crisps and a fibre one bar. For dinner I had a chicken salad. That was all of my calories! Sandwiches are just so high in calories and so low in satiety, I really need to remember in the long term that sandwiches are not a good lunch.

FurForksSake · 18/08/2025 20:41

Where are people using to calculate their maintenance calories? I’ve used a couple and they are suggesting between 1300 and 1500. I really think if I ate 1500 I’d gain.

Azuresky68 · 18/08/2025 22:43

@FurForksSake sorry you aren't feeling great. Pain is so awful and has such a big impact on mood. I don't think taking your dose a bit later than usual would have an impact but MJ effects us all differently. I have used a TDEE calculator before but can't remember which one it was. Hopefully someone will post on here. My maintenance calories are 1350...had it calculated several times with the same result and tested it out for 2 weeks a few years ago. To me that doesn't sound enough but it's a cold hard fact for me..short and old 😱

My fitness pal and my tdee both say another 600 so was 1200 now 1800 and I eat and live like the queen I am - well of tv threads 😂😂😂

@FurForksSake agree a sandwich isn't a great option when you are on low calories. I can't have just one of those fibre bars and they aren't filling either. Crisps don't fill up but I think it's OK to have one low cal 'treat' a day but no more when on such a low cal intake. My downfall is alcohol but managed an alcohol free weekend even though I went to 2 pubs. Was proud of myself that I resisted 🥂

FurForksSake · 18/08/2025 22:50

I really want to get another 4lbs off and then will play about with calories for a couple of weeks I guess. I’m considering trying 1500 and then coming down to see where I land.

i haven’t been taking my supplements so wondering if that is having some impact. I’ve taken them today and started L-tyrosine(?) to see if that has an impact.

Azuresky68 · 18/08/2025 22:56

@FurForksSake yes it's the same for me ..4 pounds more to go. I have stayed the same for ages. I finally went up to 15 for the first time ever and wish I had done it months ago..so much easier to stay within calories - 1000 for me. Been on 10 for ages and struggling. At least I have just been a 4- 6 pounds off my target since February which is a big win.

Azuresky68 · 18/08/2025 23:05

I am gutted about MJ price rise, as I am sure everyone ele is. Was planning to stay on it indefinitely. I have 4 pens thank goodness. One last push to lose last 4 pounds then I will probably jab every 10 days.

owlyboo · 18/08/2025 23:11

Mine has me at over 2000 cals. I am pretty active and it marries up with calories my garmin says I’ve burnt each day (including general daily calories)

to be honest I don’t count calories now. I know roughly through years of calorie counting what’s in things so I just try to eat sensibly and stop when full which seems to have been working for the last few months.

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/08/2025 00:17

I still count cals well apart from on holiday

I know I still need to
