Happy 1st birthday to us all - somewhere in this month we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

the amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+

in a year or for some 11-11.5mths - I was middle of August - we have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

some are at goal - and working out how to maintain

some nearing it

some still have weight they want to lose

Some have stopped for cost / various reasons and blowing baby dust your way to those who are ttc

but ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

maybe if brave - post your before and after pics to see how far we have come in a year

NSV

On the plane. Went to the toilet. Came back and The drinks trolley was in the aisle so like 2cm gap between seats and trolley and I fitted past/through it

think how wide the aisle is in a plane. Then the trolley

and I fitted easily

The lady behind me didn't

Small pleasures and one that might be taken away due to cost if goes to £250 + a month

Ooh blondes you skinny minx!!

FurForksSake · 16/08/2025 21:03

I’ve realised I’ve not jabbed, jab day was yesterday and I decided I’d push today, but I haven’t. I’ll jab in the morning and try and do 8 days again next time. Will it be a problem going an extra two days?

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/08/2025 21:16

No I don’t think it will be an issue @FurForksSake esp if not starving now

@FurForksSake, you’ll be fine but perhaps a bit hungry. There’s still a good amount of the medication in your body at that stage and using the shotsy app taught me that whilst I couldn’t cope with 12.5 once a week for 4 weeks, I can do 9 every five and a half days to get the equivalent of using the 12.5 once a week for 4 weeks. And if I wanted to go a bit longer, I could see the level that’s supposed to be in my blood which is why I know you’d be ok stretching it to 8 days. But apart from that I think it says on the literature that you can do your injections +/-3 days of your usual day anyway. And didn’t someone here mention that the lady called Hira has told them to use x amount every ten days on maintenance, or perhaps it was another thread. I hope some of this has helped in a round about the houses way.

Weepixie · 17/08/2025 04:08

@PoemsForTea thank you ☺️

Weepixie · 17/08/2025 04:42

I just had a look through the list of insta pages and the one I identified with was dressedtothemax so I went back to it a wee while later and saw that two of my internet chums from another group also follow her. They’re both House of Colour stylists and knowing how they dress and advise on putting together outfits for some of the group I can see how they’re attracted to the ladies insta. I never think of doing anything like following people or even looking things up to follow but I’m going to start.

WorriedRelative · 17/08/2025 09:34

Weighed in at a new low today! Only 0.3kg (just over half a pound) down on my previous low but it's the right direction!

WorriedRelative · 17/08/2025 09:36

FurForksSake · 16/08/2025 18:58

I follow on my marks because I think you suggested previously!

Cindy Swanson
emma snowdon
Sunsets and stilettos
Miranda Parker
mrs casual
Over40 over dressed

I’m sure there are others! There’s a woman on TikTok who styles a lot of TikTok shop outfits, I can’t remember her account!

For style ideas I love Style Me Happy - Community on Facebook. Lots of real women of all shapes and sizes posting outfits for all kinds of lifestyles

Azuresky68 · 17/08/2025 10:08

@Weepixie yes i love Maxine aka dressed to the max ..she has also been on a weight loss journey and is short like me. Her hair and makeup is fab too. On my marks is more relatable for me though as her recommendations are more in my budget.

Azuresky68 · 17/08/2025 10:11

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/08/2025 20:48

That’s nice but I would never wear horizontal stripes. Even now slim

Brilliant work..you now describe yourself as slim. I am so happy you are finally feel that way. Have you weighed yet or are you waiting until next Friday?

Azuresky68 · 17/08/2025 11:18

@WorriedRelative I have also looked at that group and a good recommendation. The reason I like On My Marks and Dressed to the Max is that they are both short and their styling suits me. I have often hated being short but they inspire me 😊

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/08/2025 16:18

Well done @WorriedRelative

the camera doesn’t lie @Azuresky68 so even I can tell in thinner and yes slim ……..

waiting till fri as always weigh fri

I probably won't try them then if they focus on petite, I'm tall

Hi there, she seems very real and I did think she was probably about the same height as you, it may be why you found her page, but anyone regardless of their height can wear what she highlights. I like what I saw.

Weepixie · 18/08/2025 05:55

@WorriedRelative i just saw your post - I’m also tall and the lady I’ve mentioned work for us. In fact I already wear a lot of the styles she models.

Timetofindme · 18/08/2025 10:06

Had my weight verification call this morning with Oushk so can now place my order. Can't get delivery til 3rd September! They'd better honour the price they've charged me just worried it won't get approved til after the prices go up and they'll come back for more.

Longest I've ever had to wait for a pen - i get why but also ridiculous! Luckily because I had a few weeks off due to surgery I have a spare pen that'll cover me but not impressed.

4pink1blue · 18/08/2025 10:42

Hi ladies. Happy 1 year anniversary to everyone! Been reminiscing on the last year and feeling so grateful for mj! I've been off for 2 months now and still happily maintaining. A year ago I couldn't imagine losing 8.5stone never mind being able to keep it off! I'm so proud of myself - just wish I'd done it sooner.

@4pink1blue you have done such an amazing job and well done for maintaining. Wishing you all the best for the future and please keep dropping in 🤩👌💐👍

Just been looking on H&M. They have some lovely fitted cardigans for Autumn. The joy of wearing a ribbed fitted cardi and feeling great instead of wearing baggy jumpers and sweatshirts. I bought a nice one from M&S in a caramel colour and can't stop wearing it with a white t shirt underneath. Only £22.50 for a great layer.I just sold three things for £15 on Vinted so that's how I justified buying the cardi 🤣
