Afternoon skinny people. Well done on all kisses, nsv, improved health and shopping!

Finally had a nudge on scales.
week 30 dose 15mg
WW 12.2
CW 9.6 and a half
revised GW 8.13

Honestly can’t believe it! Unfortunately still carry fat on stomach hence revised goal weight.

on holiday for 2.5 week from Saturday - will keep jabbing, I’ve at peace with gaining weight on hols, but hoping for only a few lbs. 🐓🌴 ☀️

BlueLimes · 13/08/2025 13:44

I mean losses not kisses !!

2025istheyeari · 13/08/2025 16:38

Well done @BlueLimes thats good news!

Has anyone else suffered from light headedness or dizziness when on mj? I recently had my bp measured for my hrt check and it was 100/77 which I know is the lower end of normal. I’ve sometimes had dizziness when I’ve got up quickly in the past but it’s definitely worse over the last couple of weeks. Not sure whether to speak to Oushk or a GP🤔

2025istheyeari · 13/08/2025 16:38

Have a great holiday @BlueLimes !

HeidiNotSoHeavy · 13/08/2025 16:53

@2025istheyeari yes, quite often recently, and blood pressure is also low. has been also 100something, right now at hospital just 90/67, but they were not worried. Maybe just need to increase food intake a little bit.

Jins · 13/08/2025 16:56

Have a great holiday @BlueLimes

@2025istheyeari i have had a few episodes of lightheadedness. I do have low blood pressure, your reading is what I get with white coat syndrome, but haven’t really had dizziness in the past. However it always seems to happen when I’ve not eaten much or it’s been a while since I ate and it’s only been since I depleted my fat reserves a bit so I’ve put it down to blood sugar issues and had some chocolate.

I’ve been gardening today and before I got in the shower I weighed myself. 9 stone 0.2lbs. That’s the lowest I’ve been and it’s a deck of cards or two golf balls away from goal. Or a medium tomato. I think we all know it won’t last till weigh in but I’m getting closer!!!!

2025istheyeari · 13/08/2025 17:04

Thanks both, yes maybe it’s a good thing, it’s in the middle of the night and the morning so probably when I’ve not eaten. We’re going out for dinner tonight so I’ve purposefully not eaten much today which could account for it! Chocolate is a good idea! I’ve also got a headache and feeling weary so think it could also be the oppressive heat!
yay @Jins 💪🏻

2025istheyeari · 13/08/2025 17:05

*food not good things- too late to edit!

BlueLimes · 13/08/2025 18:17

@2025istheyeari I get dizzy often in morning - am sure related to low blood sugar.

Maybe eat a bit earlier when you can. Have a great time tonight.
@Jins wow - you’ve done brilliantly.

Thelittlestranger · 13/08/2025 18:45

I had quite a lot of dizziness when standing up before I started eating more. I figured it was my body saying it was bored of being in a calorie deficit. Funnily enough, isn't happening at the momen now I've thought about it and I hadn't noticed...

DGonMJ · 13/08/2025 19:50

BreezyPeer · 13/08/2025 08:56

@DGonMJ I must be feeling unwell as I was convinced it was Thursday this morning ( my jab day) I weighed myself ( a loss- no surprise as I haven't eaten really in days) and then had a long internal monologue about whether or not I should jab. Decided to put it off a few days ( as recommended by you!) And then realised it isn't even jab day! What a wally!

Only a day out! Hopefully you’ll be 100% by the weekend.

DGonMJ · 13/08/2025 19:54

I’ve also been getting more dizziness the last 3-4 months. Always happens when I lose weight. Maybe it’s lower blood pressure, but also usually if I’m too sedentary. It doesn’t happen at work, just at home where I’ve been sat down and lying down for too long.
It hasn’t got worse, and when I started eating more carbs it got a bit better.

But today I managed to get a head rush going from a crouching squat, to kneeling on the ground. Literally just changing my leg position while I was looking for something in a cupboard!

PenelopePerseveres · 14/08/2025 06:27

Hi everyone 👋. Pleased everything went well @HeidiNotSoHeavy . Have a lovely holiday @BlueLimes . 🤩 wow that shop looks interesting. I felt dizzy yesterday but it was probably the heat.

Results day here. My fifth year of results days in a row which feels odd, the last one too!

My weight seems to be on a downward trend which is novel (obvs haunted by my long plateau). 13st 7 today despite the heat and being constipated (I’m back on movicol but no progress yet). Pleased with that.

BlueLimes · 14/08/2025 06:40

@PenelopePerseveres - so pleased your weight is finally behaving.
Hope the results have been and continue to be good for everyone 🤞

meatyryvita · 14/08/2025 06:58

That pesky baguette lb is now gone, along with another half a lb and so I’m down to 11.12.4, which is fab! So close to a healthy BMI.

SW - 15.10 - 30th Jan
CW - 11.12.4
GW - 9.10

Have a great day losers!

Weigh and jab day for me. Am down another half lb which is ok considering the stressful time I’ve had recently. Haven’t managed to get to the gym at all still but have been prioritising my water and healthy food which has helped me cope a bit. Have got DS1 birthday this weekend and am currently preparing to take six children and half an adult for a day out today!! Wish me luck 😝

Thelittlestranger · 14/08/2025 07:29

Half an adult @RockyisMYRhino ?!?

lb on today - not official weigh in day, and I've been eating better over the last few days (apart from that damn cake is still going) Just a blip - think I need to cut down my weighing so shall endeavour to do it less over the coming weeks.

Have also just been down a rabbit hole around Allodynia. I have had the weirdest unexplained tender patches on my skin. Had one on my thigh that was there for weeks in May/June and had one my arm over the last few days - woke up this morning and it was gone. Googled and I'm wondering if it's Allodynia - which it is being reported can be caused by semaglutide. There is a Reddit thread of people experiencing the same as me - and it's worse when going up, or skipping days in between jabs. Anyone else experiencing it? It's not world ending, but it is weird - and sore to touch. Like sunburn, but nothing to see.

RockyisMYRhino · 14/08/2025 07:43

Well I say half an adult @Thelittlestrangerbut it’s really about 3/4 - DH is currently in a cast and sling after a nasty accident and operation a few weeks ago so he’s only got one useable arm and hand and can’t carry anything so I will have to be a bit of a packhorse for today

BreezyPeer · 14/08/2025 08:08

SW before MJ 16st
SW 15st 12lb
CW 11st 10.75lb
1st GW 14st 6lb MET!! 🎉
2nd GW 13st 3lb MET!! 🥳 🎉
Final GW 12st 0 MET!! 🥳 🎉 🎊
1st Interim goal 11st 7lb
2nd Interim goal 11st 0lb
New final GW 10st 7lb
Week 31 2.25 loss
Total loss so far 4st 3.25lb
I have weighed today but not jabbed as I have had a sickness bug. I expect some of today's loss is down to that. I might jab at the weekend depending on how I feel.
Good luck to everyone weighing and jabbing! Xxx

BreezyPeer · 14/08/2025 08:10

@RockyisMYRhino I love the phrase half an adult!
Well done on the loss 😀 but let's hope the tricky time passes soon, xxx

I’ve had instances of this @Thelittlestranger - sometimes side of my face, sometimes a patch on my arm. It’s never lasted more than a day. I also looked up that Reddit thread, and it does seem like it could be a side effect. It’s definitely lessened as I’ve lowered the dose. I can’t remember last time I had it, maybe on the 4mg dose. I think knowing what it is helped me ignore it!

Jins · 14/08/2025 09:48

Great results @RockyisMYRhino and @BreezyPeer.

Official weigh in and half dose jab tomorrow and I appear to have STS as yesterday’s afternoon weight at 9st 0.2lbs. So close now! Goal weights can get stuck in your head somehow. It’s not like 91g will make the slightest bit of difference to how I look or how my clothes fit but I need to tick it off so I can move on.

Post goal plan is to maintain around this weight for a while partly to see if the loose skin improves and partly to lull my body into a false sense of security 🤣. Then I’ll try to drop a little more but I’m purposefully not setting a goal weight. As I’ve done in the past I’ll switch my scales to weigh in kg and focus on reducing my body fat. Renpho shows it at 26.9% currently and it recommends goal at 25.9% so I hope think I can do that.

Staying at 7.5mg pens on Oushk’s conti plan gives me a bit of flexibility with doses so I’ll probably stick with that for the next couple of pens and reassess.

Good luck and well done to all of us. We’re in our eighth month of our new lives.

PenelopePerseveres · 14/08/2025 09:53

Phew, results as expected, university place accepted and deferral requested. All is calm, been out for a bit of breakfast to celebrate 🍾. I couldn’t manage much food but lovely all the same 😃.

Jins · 14/08/2025 09:59

In other good news my lovely niece has had her place confirmed at our local uni which is amazing and we’re all really pleased for her

HeidiNotSoHeavy · 14/08/2025 10:29

Congratulations to everybody who got the results they wanted!

I'm home, in theory jab day but my digestion is not working yet, so will skip and wait until it's operational again. Have apparently put on 2 kilos in the hospital, but pretty sure it's just the food and water retention.

My first Vinted disappointment today, have had things I didn't fancy and so, but today a 'new without tags' dress arrived that was clearly worn and not even washed. It's otherwise really nice so put it in the wash, hopefully will get it clean. I can understand that good or satisfactory condition can be subjective, but come on, a dirty clearly worn item?
