Quick warning re Oushk

They don't have any video consultations available for at least one week. I'd switched to them for price and thinking long term.
I've had to go back to previous supplier - pharmacy 2u. £30 more 🙄

I was looking at Flyde after reading reviews and seeing prices - the website is very, very basic and it turns out they didn't have 12.5 in stock.

So yes, just a heads up.

I placed my first order yesterday and was struggling to book the weight verification call so I rang them. They booked me for today and it’s all done. Order coming Thursday. Worth ringing them to see if they can fit uou in.

I did my order yesterday and at some point during the process it said that having to wait for a video call wouldn’t delay the order.

Blimey! Just logged into my old account out of curiosity after reading this and would have to book a maintenance call to order and the earliest is 10th Sept! And it’s only 10 minutes and costs £5.

They are obviously very busy.

I had a free 40 minute call with my prescriber which was booked 10 days ahead.

It’s due to them being audited and needing to comply with the stringent prescribing standards.

if you call or message they can sometimes fit you in quicker. I had my maintenance and verification calls last week and they were very supportive and thorough.

You only need to have a weight verification call before your order is sent out if you are a new customer, ( this changed last week) existing customers just need to have a call booked in and they will still prescribe, even before your call.
They now have lots of people doing weight verification calls so you can get a slot quite quickly, they only take 5 mins and are free.
If you are an existing customer and want to move to maintenance you pay £5 for the call and they want you to be within 5/6 pounds of your goal weight, they are booking for September but if you need one sooner call them and they try to fit you in, you can still order whilst waiting for your maintenance call.
Weight verification calls have been a thing for months now, it’s just not all existing customers have had them yet, they always planned to make new customers have to have them first from July, they said so months ago when the new regs were announced.

No this is a maintenance call for those who are at the end of their journey. The weight loss verifications are free amd plenty available. I had mine Saturday and only booked it the week before but I'd already paid for and ordered my pen anyway.

Just looked and there at two appointments available for weight verification tomorrow and one on Thursday if you want to try again to book them.

Did you scroll through everyone? I booked yesterday for tomorrow and there were absolutely loads but I did have to dig deep the first load were ages away!

I just checked there is one on for tomorrow and absolutely loads from next week.

@magicpant the September one will be maintenance appt not weight verification, they also cost £5 where the weight verification is free.

yes there are plenty of weight verification appointments!

You will probably find that all suppliers will have to go down the weight and height verification route eventually. Plenty of people, even on MN, have mentioned adding a couple of pounds and reducing height an inch or two in order to qualify. It’s good that regulators are tightening up.

@Histoscientist after 13 months on Mounjaro and hitting goal, I do know the difference thank you.

If I wanted to reorder from Oushk (which I really don’t!), I need to have a maintenance call. Which is charged for (even if you do get it back when you place an order) and which is a mere 10 minutes long and theoretically can’t be booked for nearly two months. I was merely pointing out the differences.

I had a health check at my GP today, asked then to verify my height, weight, BMI so I can send to Oushk, I’m 3cm smaller than I used to be, so my BMI is now higher than I thought which is a good thing as I’m on maintenace.
I’m shrinking with age 🤣

I want to book a 2nd maintenance consult but can't find any mention of them on there. Existing customers can just book verification video or an online consult, i don't need either of these at the moment - anyone any clue what's going on? I suspect this is one of the drawbacks of not being on FB - you never know what's going on and Circle is worse than useless for getting answers.

The website is a complete maze.

I whatsapped them for my next 3 codes for maintenance and was emailed within 2 days. I ordered and then booked my weight verification as I hadn't had mine since the new regs. PM if you want to whatsapp number xx

Yeah, I think they did. This would be my 2nd though, I had my first in November, as i wanted to talk through some issues quite urgently. No worries, I'll message as can't wait till September, I'll have disappeared by then 🙃

Try Lotus if you don’t want to wait. He said they usually approve same day and do free next day delivery. Maintenance for BMI over 20.

Are you still losing a lot on maintenance? I’m not sure what to expect.
