They don't have any video consultations available for at least one week. I'd switched to them for price and thinking long term.
I've had to go back to previous supplier - pharmacy 2u. £30 more 🙄

I was looking at Flyde after reading reviews and seeing prices - the website is very, very basic and it turns out they didn't have 12.5 in stock.

So yes, just a heads up.

Ahh I’ve heard about Oushksmoushk but never seen any posts, sort of glad to see they are real 🤣

@KrankyKumquat I agree re circle, can’t seem to make sense of it, I personally hate motivational quotes and food photos 🤢 so it’s not really floating my boat.

I do think if you WhatsApp them about getting an earlier maintenance appointment you may be able to get one, but agree that all this weight/height verification, new customer stuff seems to be the focus of attention at the moment.

Great tips from weallhavewings, I have also lost a bit more weigh whilst in maintenance but only 3/4lb, I’m going down doses currently on 5mg but also don’t want to loose more, due to my rather sunken face (I’m 62).

I’m hoping that when I get to 2.5mg I can stay there, if need be spacing it out a bit longer. I don’t like the sound of month on month off as I think it would mess up blood sugars, something I try and keep as steady as I can by trying to follow my Zoe plan.

Maintenance feels quite tricky really, with the constant fear of putting on weight and being unsure if I should stay on a low dose for a long time or try to come off.

@Itscoldouthere
Yes, @WeAllHaveWings always talks good sense.
I've had my weight verification today, bmi 19.8, 2nd week of 2.5 out of end of a 5mg pen, so am going to take 1.5mg from new 2.5mg pen starting Friday. I too am not hugely keen on one month on, one off and actually really like weekly jabs for ordiliness basically. But I'll try upping days between jabs if 1.5mg doesn't work.

I predict a mass exodus to Lotus or one of the others doing a maintaince programme to be perfectly honest. Lots still welcome new clients without that rigmarole.

And that must be frustrating for Oushk, as they’re only doing it because they’ve been unexpected and told to be more rigorous (I think). @Itscoldouthere I’m wondering about the cost of maintenance. Are you planning on using the pens for more than 30 days and is your prescriber happy with this plan?

Interesting to read about the inspection and enforcement notice. Do we think other pharmacies will be having the same?

I switched to Swift and have been really impressed with speed and ease of ordering, and price. Plus no faffing about with referral codes.
I'm probably due to check monj.co.uk again soon but at £144 for 10mg I think they're pretty good price wise. And apparently good maintenance.

doodleschnoodle · 17/07/2025 07:00

Surely all the pharmacies are going to have to implement stuff like this as they are inspected? It seems a bit unlucky to be one of the first in the new tranche of WLI pharmacies to be inspected but presumably the rest will need to implement these checks in the near future, as many of them did and still do far less than Oushk to verify information.

Not heard of swift but that’s not a bad price for the 10. I’ll check them out. Thank you.

Video height and weight verification is needed by them all already, some are struggling to get people through the system quick enough. Other issue is people switching pharmacies and no longer having a bmi above 30, it’s hard to have a verification trail especially when people started with just Id and photos or even less!

Itscoldouthere · 17/07/2025 09:41

@Mounraine when I first joined Oushk back in January, there was more talk in the maintenance section about things like longer spaces between doses, but within guidelines as you can still get 4 doses within the 30 days if you take them up to 10 days apart, they have never suggested going over 30 days or allowed any chat about the extra dose.
Most of this chat seems to have stopped and I presume they will be very careful moving forward.
Personally, I imagine I will get down to 2.5 and take weekly including the 5th dose and see how I get on, if possible I will start increasing the days between doses so I will end up going over 30 days, but that would be my choice and I don’t think Oushk would recommend it.

Pumpkinforever · 17/07/2025 10:31

Oushk are sticking to the prescribing guidelines in what they say now in newsletters.

As other chemists get inspected they too will have to fall into line. Oushk are now asking for height verification as well - all the online pharmacies will have to do the same. What we are seeing with Oushk are the guidelines being enforced more rigorously. I dare say all the competition have read the Oushk report and now know what is coming.

That’s not right, MedExpress approved my friend yesterday with a photo. Nothing else.

I’m sure eventually it’ll go that way to be within the regs but not yet.

FurForksSake · 17/07/2025 13:05

It’s needed, I’m not saying they are doing it. It’s already the requirements and
if they were audited they would be breaching.

Nomoretopswithblacktrousers · 09/10/2025 13:06

I'm another that's done with Oushk.

I had placed an order after booking the weight verification call. I didn't see anything that said the call had to have taken place before the order could be sent and I also have an email from Oushk saying my order was approved a few weeks ago!

Only get to the date of delivery and then I'm told I have to have had the call.

I've cancelled my order.

Naturally Oushk has already taken my money so I'll have to pay £15 cancellation fee for poor customer service.

Off to find a pharmacy that treats customers better!

Nomoretopswithblacktrousers · 09/10/2025 13:36

I realise now Oushk are saying the order is confirmed initially then approved later so I accept that even though they could have been clearer. They only said the call had to booked though and no one followed up to tell me it had to have been held. I'm over Oushk.
