I have the worst mental block with the spelling of this medication!! Almost did it wrong again but THINK it's correct now. Obviously 3rd time's the charm!!

Great work / losses / NSVs so far everyone!

No it was ml (liquid) in the syringe 😊

Sorry - just realised it’s the syringe dose I’ve written wrong - I filled 0.15 of liquid from the 5mg pen! Plus 15 clicks of the 7.5 pen!
I could never work in medicine! 😵‍💫😂

SaddlebagSal · 18/06/2025 11:03

Still plodding away, I’ll be taking my fourth 7.5mg dose tomorrow. My weight this morning is the lowest it’s been in 10 years or so. I may stick to 7.5mg for my next syringe as the appetite suppression is now lasting through the week.

i get lots of ups and downs in my daily weight but the trend line is a lovely sight. At this rate I won’t be at target (10st7lb, upper end of normal BMI) until Jan 2026, but I can cope with that if the line keeps going in the same direction.

Week 12 for me, second dose of 7.5mg done this morning. I had no side effects whatsoever but also, weirdly, less suppression than on 5mg. Weight stayed the same as last week and I’m also due on any day so not surprised but disappointed as I’m going away next week and was hoping to lose a bit more before then. Ah well. I’ve done today’s jab in my belly so hoping that makes a difference.

saxonyv · 18/06/2025 17:15

Does anyone know how maintenance works?
I’ve just moved from obese to overweight on the bmi scale, still have weight to lose but I’m only just about to go on 5mg, will I still be able to order 7.5 in a few weeks? (Oushk)

QS90 · 18/06/2025 23:12

That's a lovely graph @SaddlebagSal ! Can I ask what app it was made in? Or did you make it yourself on the computer?

Just think how much will drop off after you're finished with pms though @wordywitch 😎 Probably in time for your holiday too!

How us your daughter getting on?

I'm now overweight not obese so YAY! But due to my height still on the upper end!!

Me too!! As of this week 🥳 😂

Have had a very busy and stressful week - nothing bad but just busy with building work / planned medical things taking up time. Have "only" lost 1lb, but previously would have been overeating like mad, to deal with the tiredness, so seeing it as a win.

What's the opposite of a Non Scale Victory? My favourite pyjama bottoms will no longer stay up! Will look forward to treating myself to some new ones on payday though 😏

Felt like I did really pig out today - crisps, wine, the lot. Not really holding back. Did my food diary as usual this evening, and have only consumed 1900 calories - still way under the amount needed to maintain, which for me is 2400. Wild, but very reassuring.

It’s an app - Happy Scale. Has lots of different ways of looking at your data so keeps a nerd like me motivated when the scales don’t seem to shift for a week or so.

I love happy scale too. Well love it a lot more now I’m taking Mounjaro and there’s a steady downwards trend! 😂
Ive dropped 1lb since the start of my holiday which includes a week with no Mounjaro shot. This would never have happened in the past!
Im 10st 5.6lb now. Just going to take my time with the last 5lb and try and ease into maintenance (which lack many of us I’ve never maintained!😵‍💫)

Thanks! Yes I’ll probably get a drop next week, that seems to be my pattern, nothing one week followed by 1-2kg the next. Still works out to an average of 1.2kg/week which I’m happy with.

My daughter is in her third week of 2.5mg and not feeling a massive difference in appetite but she’s dropped a couple of kilos and has had minimal side effects so she’s plugging away.

Newmum110 · 19/06/2025 10:09

Delighted to have reached my first goal of a 2 stone loss. 10 weeks in and 30.5lbs down.
I can't believe it, I'm putting in a lot of effort with exercise & making better food choices but still allowing myself daily treats but it's on a much smaller scale than before.
When i look back i felt so terrible but my body was so used of suffering with all the crap I was shovelling into it.
Another 32.5lbs until I reach a normal weight but I'm just going to take 1 stone at a time.
Since March 2024 I have lost 55lbs, by March 2026 I'm hoping to have lost 88lbs.
Hard to know what the right thing to do about clothes is, I think I will put my 'fat clothes' into storage for now but I'm in a place now where I don't have much to wear but don't want to waste money when I'm intended on losing more weight - a great dilemma to be in but a little annoying when trying to get dressed!!!! Can't wait for a BIG shopping spree when I reach final goal.

Squiffy01 · 19/06/2025 12:00

2.2lbs off for me this week. Which I’m quite happy with as that time of the month and I’m just feeling quite fat and blah.

wordywitch · 19/06/2025 12:22

A NSV for me this week was buying a pair of size 16 jeans and they fit perfectly. I’d been trying to keep my 18s going but they were practically falling down, something made me think a 16 would be too small still though. Funny how the mind works 😜

vl888 · 19/06/2025 15:40

3rd dose of 7.5mg today and still going OK. No real side effects, although finding suppression HIGH in the couple of days after injecting. Have a few events coming up so slightly regretting now that my injection day is a Thursday as always so uninterested in food/drink over the weekend (I suppose it's a good thing!)

Will need to order next pen next week, think I might just stick to 7.5mg - I think 10mg might be too much!

31lb lost over 10 weeks - am no longer in the 'obese' category, and am 'overweight' 🤩 My neighbour mentioned my weigh loss yesterday so must be noticeable! Only grumble is that I need new clothes so gonna be expensive! 🤣🤣

Done the BMI calculator and it says my 'ideal' weight is between 7st7 and 10st1 - 7 stone seems TINY....I'll have melted away. So think I will aim for 10-10st5, seems more reasonable!

Gosh - how tall are you? I’m 5ft 2 and I’m planning on stopping at 10 stone, but my bmi calculator says I could go much lower.

Crikeyalmighty · 19/06/2025 19:33

@Pepperwaggytail yep but BMIs don’t account for age, build, boobs etc - I look unwell at less than 9 and a half stone these days at 63 and 5ft 4 - I have big boobs regardless of how much weight I lose these days and look unbalanced below 9 and a half stone and scraggy faced too - would rather a bit of a balance and am aiming for 10 and a half

5ft3! Us little people 🙂
Im also planning to stop at 10, I think I would look ill if I lost much more than that haha!

Crikeyalmighty · 19/06/2025 22:08

Just a quickly to mention not to be despondent if you don’t lose much if anything whilst weather is like this - body holds onto water more apparently - and given lots of us are drinking lots of it - it probably is genuinely a bit of water weight!

Interesting reading the posts about BMI too. I know I look my best at about 10.5 or 11 stone. Once I went travelling, and had a lot of food poisoning, and came home 9.5 stone looking gaunt and completely flat-chested like a boy. The BMI calculator says I could go as low as 8 stone 9!! I'd look like a bug-eyed skeleton at that! I know the calculator is only a rough estimate and doesn't take all factors into account, but still...

@QS90 I think folks needs to use their eyes within reason -

WinterOnItsWayOut · 20/06/2025 06:44

W11D1
SW:12.12 (BMI 30.3)
TW: 10.5 (-2.5 stone - BMI 24.2)
CW: 10.13 (BMI 25.6)

W1: - 6lb
W2: - 3lb
W3: - 2lb
W4: - 3lb (total 1 stone 💪)
W5: -3lb
W6: -0lb
W7: -3lb
W8: -2lb (total 1 1/2 stones 🙌)
W9: -0lb (holiday)
W10: -2lb
W11: -3lb

Just about scraped into the 10’s today 🙌 and just over 1/2 stone to get to TW which is top end BMI but appearance wise I’m not sure I want to go much lower. Did get to 10st once and def don’t want to go lower than that (5ft 5).

Still on 2.5mg and won’t go higher. Hopefully this is my final pen and then the dreaded maintenance 😖

Incognitoburrito88 · 20/06/2025 07:05

Morning everyone - it’s jab day and weigh day for me - I can’t put all my stats because the 4 yr old has randomly got up insanely early and made me come downstairs away from my diary!

wk 12 D 1

SW 13st 7lb
CW 11st 11lb
GW 9st 13lb

I dropped my dose back to 2.5mg last week as I wasn’t feeling great on 4mg and had lost 3lb in a week. This week I’ve lost 1 which I know is fine but comparison is the thief of joy and I’m jealous of everyone on this thread who is losing faster and is close to goal when I’ve still got almost 2 stone to go. It feels a bit never ending. I’m also feeling a bit meh about my body and how I look. Went back up to 3.75mg this morning. I’ve got a hen weekend next Friday and had hoped to hit the two stone mark before then - realise that’s not going to happen now. New goal is to hit 2 stone loss before we go on holiday on July 20th.

@WinterOnItsWayOut well done on your fantastic losses - I hope you’ll stay on the thread as you start to maintain - I’m really interested to know how you get on.

Wonderfulstuff · 20/06/2025 07:44

It's not my first rodeo (annoyingly) when it comes to a big weight loss journey and I have to agree with @Crikeyalmighty I never lose much in the mega heat. Really need to chug hard on the Stanley today!

I had a NSV last night and wore a dress out that I bought at least 2 years ago but had never worn as it was too tight (and got even tighter!). Didn't know what to wear and thought I'd give it a try and it was a comfortable, easy fit. Felt great as a result. Anyone else enjoying shopping their own wardrobe?!
