Week 9 for me and 4lbs off this week 🎉 I’m still on 3.75 and it’s working well.

SW 13st 1lb
CW 11st 6lbs
GW 10st 7lbs

Less than a stone to go now. It’s great fitting back into my old clothes- currently wearing jeans I last wore in 2022!

What a fantastic result squishy, you must be absolutely delighted.
I'm 8 weeks in & am only getting close to your starting weight 🙃
My original goal was 2 stone from 3 pens & I've just started my 3rd pen & only 3.5lbs from my original goal so should hopefully hit it.
After that I'm going to take it in smaller chunks
Goal 1 - lose 2 stone, nearly there
Goal 2 - move from obese to overweight
Goal 3 - lose stone 3
Goal 4 - lose stone 4
Goal 5 - move from overweight to normal weight, however I have never been a normal weight my entire life so would be happy to reach Goal 4 & maintain. I have reached Goal 4 before on my own but gradually it all piled back on so that might mean I need MJ for life.

Wishing everyone else well on their "journey"

yeah i've done this too, took inspiration from a post i saw on facebook and made my own list of mini goals. The next one i'm aiming towards is 2 stone lost, then its BMI under 30, 3 stone off, 20% of body weight lost, BMI under 28, 4 stone lost, etc etc....

I like a list where i can tick things off, so this works well for mini motivations for me :)

Just checking in ladies.
Week 8 day 4 and I weighed this morning as I didn’t weigh last week on my period and I am now 11.7 so that’s 3lb lost but it’s 2 weeks from I last weighed. I’m now only 7lb from my target. 11 stone is a really good weight for me, and to be fair 11.7 is pretty slim also. I fit nicely into most size 10’s at this weight. I’m going on hols on the 26th and I’d love to be 11.3 by then. I won’t be taking the jab with me I’ll take it on the Monday before I go on the Thursday but I’ll miss the next week as I’m away for 10 days. My son doesn’t know I’m on it and he will be sharing a room with us.
Thats 2 stone exactly lost now from the 7th of April when I started. I’ve not decided whether to microdose for maintenance or not yet. I’m on 5mg now and I may take 2.5 for maintenance. However I know I’ll need a few weeks after hols on 5mg to get back to 11.3 if I get there.
No bad side effects, everything is manageable. 5mg is definitely as high as I could go as suppression is very high for me. I’m delighted with how it’s going so far.
Hope everyone is enjoying the journey.

Just to just to mention that Zava are giving a £20 discount to their existing customers (they dont advertise that fact!) - but if you look on the Mouj discount site it will be listed there - other companies do the same. If anyone wants to switch to Zava (supplier to Asda Pharmacy) you can DM me for my 25% discount code. Also note that prices jump when moving to 7.5. I managed to keep my first two pens at £104 from codes shared by others on this thread - and for my 3rd pen used the existing customer code which brought it down to £149 for the 7.5 pen. I will be moving suppliers next month if anyone wants to swap codes.

NotsosunnyShropshire · 05/06/2025 17:23

Just taken my first dose of my 2nd 5mg pen. Have also just ordered my first 7.5mg pen. Figured I could tweak the dose if I needed to. I definitely feel the wearing off two days before my next jab. Like someone has flicked a switch back on all of a sudden.

QS90 · 05/06/2025 18:11

It's weird @NotsosunnyShropshire I have the "switch flipping back" some weeks but not others... definitely notice it if I'm low on my sleep or due on. Other times I delay the jab a day, as just don't feel I need it. Nice to know I have some semblance of control without it, only when I'm feeling good though! On weeks when the switch does flip, it's scary!

I think your goals are brilliant. It’s such a boost to reach them.

I love the support here 💕

Just wanted to share how I am getting on on holiday, I arrived in Europe on Sunday and it’s 26 plus everyday so super hot. I’m really regretting taking my jab on Friday as I think the heat is making me more tired & nauseous. I was already suffering exhaustion from the 3.75.

First 2 days felt nauseous and struggled to eat which is rubbish as I felt it was restricting where we ate. I also was literally ready to sleep by 7.30pm.

Third day was a celebration so I had something richer and ice cream. I felt so rubbish at night. Really bloated.

Today I’ve had a protein shake, salad & an ice lolly.

I’ve decided not to jab tomorrow. I want to enjoy my last few days unrestricted by worrying about food.

Sorry this is long but as it’s holiday time coming up I wanted to share my thoughts.

Pepperwaggytail · 05/06/2025 22:05

I’m away with friends too - bloody hell they eat a lot! Plus constant questions why I’m not eating breakfast, dont want fruit etc.., easily dodged by blaming IBS.
I did my 4mg jab on Tuesday evening this week. Im having good suppression, no hunger at all, no nausea or tiredness which is great, but I can definitely eat more! I had 3/4 of a pizza tonight where previously I doubt I’d have managed even half. Also had a small alcoholic drink every day and enjoyed it. I’ve still got the dry mouth so drinking loads of water which is great because it’s over 30 degrees here.
A great plus is that I’m much more confident in a bikini this year! 😎

@PinkCatInATree what was the news?

weigh day for me today and I stayed the same. Always disappointing when the scales don’t move but I will take that when I was in Rome for 4 days this week!

Im now on magic dose of second pen I managed to get just over 0.8ml out no idea what that is.

It's a third more than usual.

So on a 5mg pen, it would be 6.5mg, I believe.

Jab Day for me

SW 13st 7lb
CW 12st 1
GW 9st 13 lb

wk 1 - 3 - 8
wk 4 - 4
wk 5 - 1
wk 6 -3
wk 7 -1
wk 8 -2
wk 9 -1

Total Loss 20lb

I weigh daily and it’s funny how I’m initially excited to see a number on the scales but once it’s been there for a few days I begin to hate it! I’ve been 12st 1 since Sunday and I’m fed up with it!

I’ve done a weird thing with my dosing. Had 0.4 ml left in my 2.5mg pen so took that last night then this morning I retrieved my new 5mg pen from the fridge and counted clicks to get 2.5mg so total dose 4.1 mg. If side effects are ok I’ll go up to 5 next week.

I can’t decided whether to order a pen from Asda so I don’t lose the ability to order from them and build up a stock or if I just trust Oushk not to suddenly stop trading because everybody fell out on Facebook! I don’t really want to be buying two pens a month just because I don’t trust Oushk!! Maybe I should switch again to one or the other maintenance friendly pharmacies… maintenance still seems a long way off!

@Doidontimmm think you are definitely right to hold off jabbing - it’s a shame to have your holiday spoiled by side effects.

@Pepperwaggytail sounds like you are really able to enjoy your holiday which is great. I’ve got a hen weekend in a few weeks and slightly dreading all the why aren’t you eating / drinking much questions…

Why don't you trust oushk out of curiosity? They're who I order from and never had any issues?

I don’t really know - think it’s all the Facebook pages getting taken down and the weird people on Facebook talking about mangos and then the strange communication via newsletter rather than on the site when you order. Then all these appointments you need but you can only book weeks in advance - then I’ve seen people on here not able to log in to their appointments. Their interface seems a bit disorganised and unprofessional compared to Asda who were very straight forward. I’ve got a weight verification booked for July but what if I can’t login and they just arbitrarily cut me off… typing all that out has convinced me to order from Asda actually!! Glad you’ve not had problems with them as I do want to be on maintenance with them - think I’d just like to have a spare pen for reassure….

That all sounds a bit strange doesn’t it so maybe best to avoid that company!!

as you mentioned Asda apparently Asda use ZAVA for their consultations and prescriptions you could give them a go, I’ve always got pretty good prices with them fair enough using codes but I got my most recent 5mg one for £108, I do have a code if you would like to use it.

TashieWoo · 06/06/2025 10:12

Hi, just checking in, I’m on W3D4 and have lost 2.5kg, I know not a huge amount but it’s going in the right direction and I’m on my period now which certainly doesn’t help!

interested in getting more out of the pens - which needles do you use for this and how do you do it?

I use Voy and have another discount next month, but will probably switch to Asda for month 3 as I’ve heard that’s the cheapest? Definitely interested in a discount code for Zava though if you don’t mind sharing @TC4 thank you

wordywitch · 06/06/2025 11:54

Am I the only one sticking with the same company because I can’t be arsed to keep changing? I know I probably should to save money but it sounds like such a faff.

It might bite harder when you move to 7.5 and the price jumps significantly. I havent moved yet from Zava - was able to use someones code as new joiner for 1st pen - then someone from this thread used mine so I got another discount for 2nd pen. My third I used the Zava £20 existing customers discount code that I stumbled upon on the monj price comparison website - so was pleased with that. But now I am on 7.5 I will use a code as a new customer and move for my 4th pen as 25% of nearly £200 is significant to me.

Just taken jab 6 and my first 3.75mg dose.
I always weigh on a Monday so will see what tomorrow brings. I was away with friends this weekend so was more challenging to count calories and I did have some wine so will see what happens.

How do you do 3.75 pls

I am still with MedExpress and also can't be arsed changing (plus knowing me it would get rejected and be a disaster) 🤣🤣

I got my first 7.5mg pen last week and yes it did hurt at that price tag. I probably should change after my next one. Do you just show your most recent pen’s label as proof of prescription?

I only moved because Asda don’t support maintenance - I don’t plan on switching again unless there’s a major problem with Oushk. I was a bit nervous about switching because my BMI had dropped under 30 but it was ok.

They asked for a full length photo and proof of my previous prescription. I couldn’t be bothered sending in new photos so sent in the ones I’d used for Asda five weeks previously and they accepted them. It took ages to be approved but I think that was because I picked a delivery date a couple of weeks away. My order was approved two days before my chosen delivery date. I do have to do a weight verification WhatsApp in a few weeks though.
